The Sales and Services Senior Finance Analyst role is a highly commercial role that helps to manage the flow of financial information between finance, sales and services; providing meaningful insight to the numbers to help business decision making.

Working closely with the Sales Finance Director, this role requires engagement with key stakeholders to ensure linked up reporting and messaging. The candidate must be supremely confident with handling data in excel, with fluency in other programmes (e.g VBA, PowerQuery, PowerBI) a bonus. The candidate must also be comfortable in a highly changeable environment and be motivated to drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Timely review of actuals against forecast KPIs (e.g revenue, ARR, cost) and reporting of variance analysis.

• Assist with the annual planning cycle

• Maintain revenue forecast models for key areas of the business and consolidating the company wide revenue forecast

• Prepare internal Services financial reporting for various levels of the organization

• Manage OPERA workbook used for Services Bid review.

• Support contract negotiations through analysis and accounting IFRS15 understanding

• Implement process to improve cost governance within Sales.

• Making improvements to the quality, accuracy of data and data driven insights.

• Creating exec level Powerpoint presentations

• Support the Sales Finance Director with ad-hoc executive level queries

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related degree

• 5 years related experience with demonstrated understanding of Project accounting (POC revenue)

• Knowledge of Financial and ERP systems, Oracle, SAP and SQL data warehouse experience is a plus

• A desire to work in Commercial finance, with a focus on the commercial engine of Aveva in Sales and Services.

• Flexibility to work across time zones

• Excellent verbal, analytical, written and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable and resourceful in conducting analysis to inform decision making

PMC Senior Civil and Structural Engineer, Wood, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Senior Civil and Structural Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry to work on ADNOC Gas Processing project. Successsful candidate will be responsible for below duties;

Work independently in the group and lead Civil and structural Design Engineers and work in a team of engineering and design office
Apply experience, engineering techniques, codes, standards, analysis calculations, specification, company procedures, sound judgment, and design criteria to conduct his work
Ensure that all civil and structural works done at company are per approved specifications
Prepare quality assurance and control documents for civil / structural jobs
Field inspection of work activities, surveying and measurement taking
Act Lead Engineer for civil / structural related projects / jobs
Prepare drawings for design and produce himself in electronic format. Also, if work load increases, he shall produce sketches to allow designers / draft men to draw on electronic format, he will then verify the drawings
Work directly with project engineers, designers, CAD operators, and draft men to ensure work activities are coordinated. He may also be required to supervise and train these personnel
Use software related to civil / structural for design, calculations and preparation of design packages (i.e., Staadpro)
Responsible in planning and conducting independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria
Devise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices

Skills / Qualifications

BE in Civil or Structural Engineering
15 plus years of Experience in Civil and structural design in onshore oil and gas projects

Scope and Purpose:

Implement software packages at customer sites
Respond to and troubleshoot all customer software issues for all G+D SWS products.
Ensure that all issues are resolved to the customer satisfaction within the contracted SLA times. Provide onsite assistance as required.

Key Result Areas & Responsibilities:

Must be willing to work in a 24x7 environment and long hours while on customer site. Must be willing to travel on-site and for extended periods if required.
Document all issues in G+D’s issue tracking system
Setup and configuration of test environment in order to duplicate issues
Responsible to troubleshoot and identify customer issues with the software and escalate to the R&D team if code changes are required.
Assist in the preparation of reports for customer communication
Establish and maintain excellent working relationship with all customers at all times
Keep up-to-date with technical and G+D product knowledge
Lead Implementation activities at customer site
Provide training on software as required
Create documentation (Support/Training) as required

Technical Skills:

Installing, configuring and administering/managing IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5 (WAS), Jboss EAP 6 and IIS
Proficient with war, ear application deployment in Java EE Application Servers environment.
Deep understanding of JDBC and JMS connection management within WebSphere, Jboss
Experience with .NET application installation and deployment
Configuring and integrating applications with database (MS SQL and Oracle), LDAP, Core Banking and 3rd party applications
Understanding of networking and network standards/protocols, such as DHCP, DNS, SSL, TCP, UDP, FTP, SFTP and IP.
Strong SQL and database (MS SQL 2012, Oracle 12C) administration (back-up/restore) skills

Job Requirements:

Computer Science or related degree and 4+ years’ experience in a customer support role and prior experience in banking or warehousing industry is desirable.
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skill are a must.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, ability for multitasking and good organizational skills.
Detail-oriented and persistent in execution and follow-up tasks and the ability to lead and work in a team environment.
Must conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times and utilize sound judgment in dealing with business information.
Flexibility to work long hours as necessary and able to handle high pressure in a professional manner
