Job Description

As a Presales Solution Architect Intern, you’ll assist the GE Digital Pre-Sales Team to execute within a well-defined Sales and Commercial framework. You’ll be required to follow step by step sequence of standard tasks, to achieve an end result. You’ll also be responsible for supporting targeted clients, stable regions, and/or small sales territories. We’ll provide you with the mentorship and the opportunity to collaborate with experts within GE Digital.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll develop conceptual knowledge of GE solution architect discipline, as well as assigned sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups. This may include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area
  • You’ll apply general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience
  • Help to resolve issues using established procedures and consult with your Supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters
  • Collaborates with others to solve issues
  • For customer facing roles, you’ll develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE
  • Exchange technical information asks questions and checks for understanding
  • You’ll have the ability to follow project timeline with specific deadlines and instructions
  • Ability to create a structure web search for potential clients and partners and reach out to them with specific qualification criteria

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • You’ll be an excellent team player whilst maintaining an independent perspective
  • You’ll be available to start the 4 month Intern Program in early 2022

    Manager Fleet Airworthiness, Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi, UAE

     

    Synopsis

    The Manager Fleet Airworthiness reports to the Senior Manager Fleet Airworthiness (SMFA) and is responsible to manage and have complete control of the airworthiness functions related to the aircraft Certificate of Airworthiness issuance and Airworthiness Review Certificate issuance and renewal process of the assigned Etihad fleet.

    Accountabilities

    • Manages the complete aircraft physical surveys and complete aircraft historical technical records (ATL, modification records, Airworthiness Directives, Damage assessment, Life Limited Parts, mandatory placards and markings, etc.) review process for the Certificate of Airworthiness issuance and Airworthiness Review Certificate issuance and renewal on assigned aircraft.
    • Identifies deficiencies observed during aircraft physical and document review and ensure timely corrective actions are taken by those responsible to maintain validity of Certificate of Airworthiness.
    • Develops and continuously improve the checklists for aircraft physical surveys and document review as required by CAR M.
    • Assists the Senior Manager Fleet Airworthiness (SMFA) in developing and implementing CAR M Subpart I related procedures into the company Technical Procedures Manual (TPM).
    • Liaises with the GCAA on Certificate of Airworthiness issuance and Airworthiness Review certificate issuance and renewals and recommendations on behalf of the SMFA. This includes organizing regular meetings with the GCAA to provide updates and feedback on each assigned aircraft where necessary.
    • Ensures comprehensive technical reports related to the Airworthiness Review Certificate inspections are produced and inform Senior Management of adverse trends or areas requiring urgent attention and improvement that may compromise safety and aircraft operation.
    • Develops, monitors and manages aircraft inspections on non-assigned fleets to meet annual ARC audit plan. Raising non-conformance reports, reviewing root cause and assessing preventive actions submitted by the party’s concerned and final acceptance of corrective actions.
    • Evaluates, coordinates and carries-out projects that are deemed necessary by the SMFA to enhance the safety standards of the technical operations and/or Technical departments to achieve set goals.
    • Implement SMS systems and processes and ensure formal Risk Assessments are carried out for operationally significant changes.
    • Ensures a safe and secure working environment for Etihad employees. Promotes quality of work, safety and security awareness.
    • Actively manages any incidents that may occur in order to minimise Etihad employees’ injury and other forms of loss.
    • Provides the appropriate time, training, resources and encouragement to Etihad employees to support their involvement in the on-going development of Etihad’s Safety Management System and safety culture.

    Education & Experience

    • At least five years’ experience in continuing airworthiness.
    • An appropriate license in compliance with CAR-66 or  Bachelor degree or equivalent in the field of Aeronautical, Mechanical or electrical/Electronic engineering..
    • Formal Aeronautical maintenance training and a position within the approved organization with appropriate responsibilities.

    About the role

    You will manage the Inventory Department of the IKEA store and support the sales departments.  You will maintain consistent stock balances by adhering to strict inventory control procedures.  You are responsible to monitor system processes and operating procedures ensuring smooth data flow, sales space capacities, recovery and physical movement of stock.

    Key Specific Accountabilities:

    Operational

    • Maintain consistent stock balances by adhering to strict inventory control procedures.
    • Reviews and upgrades inventory procedures as per the group policy and recommending it to the management and group audit for review.
    • Manage daily routines to ensure store In Shape as new everyday.
    • Work with Range to plan Sales and Store capacities.
    • Be responsible for coordinating annual and perpetual inventories for the store. 
    • Analyzes stock deviation and discrepancies ascertaining a tolerance level for shrinkage.
    • Designates the task of updating stock files to Inventory Assistant.
    • Obtain and coordinate store requirements, to liaise efficient opening/closure of the store, deal with customer guidance and complaints and supervise all operating departments
    • Review and monitor daily and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and analysis reports on various measurable factors against benchmarked figures (e.g. reports relating to delivery accuracy, shrinkage, discontinued and sales lists, stock levels, stock ageing,   etc.). 
    • Analyzes variances, explores problem areas and utilizes them for continuous improvement and appropriate recommendations

    Commercial

    • Work together with the Logistics, Sales, Communication and Interior Design teams on sales space optimization and regular replenishments through the analysis of stock movements.
    •  The job holder is responsible for overstock and concrete articles.
    • Acts as an interface between the Retail Warehouse and the Store to secure all administrative routines influencing the stock balance are maintained consistently.
    • Secure routines maintaining the Basic Data Quality and efficient ordering which support lowest possible cost to strengthen IKEA’s position as the best home furnishing store in local market.
    • Health and Safety requirements for loading and unloading trucks.
    • Support regional requirements.
    • Plan space capacity for peak trade.
    • Concrete and slow sellers to be pushed through with Trinity.

    Financial

    • Be responsible for the annual Operational Review for the Supply Chain and Logistics Consultants. 
    • Periodically meets with the AF Group audit team for the assessment and validation of the inventory process of IKEA which includes the existing procedures, business application, documentation and final approvals of stock shrinkages after stock take.

    People Management & Development

    • Supervise the Inventory Control team to ensure highest level of work efficiency, and control operational costs. 
    • Ascertain adequate training and development initiatives to secure quality performance and succession needs.

     About the role

    We are hiring for your skills to be in charge of managing and executing the airline's global/regional Pay-Per Click campaigns to drive incremental visibility and sales from search engines to qatarairways.com, in accordance with the plans lay out by the Manager Search Marketing.

    The core focus of this role to day to day management, execution, analysis and optimisaiton of paid search campaigns towards relevant demand capture. The role will also be in charge of strategizing, driving and delivering specific areas within the portfolio towards measured KPI’s. As part of the role, the Senior Officer supports, and co-ordinates between Head Office and Regional Offices, to ensure global and regional search marketing campaigns are aligned, and optimised for incremental revenue contribution and ROI.

    Other operational duties would include:

    • To contribute to the overall digital sales, coordinate, optimise and formulate SEM campaigns globally/regionally to drive incremental sales and traffic from Search Engines.
    • Coordinate and manage efforts with online marketing agencies or in-house, which may support QR withSEM, to scope and deliver annual quarterly and annual agreements.
    • Develop reports and optimise campaigns to ensure adherence to budget.
    • Prepare post-implementation reports and analysis to measure and report the effectiveness of our campaigns.
    • Provides assistance in the coordination of RFI, RFP, and contracting procedures.
    • Creates monthly KPI reporting for SEM activities to track performance against monthly targets.
    • Reviews and verifies all SEM expenses, and coordinates timely clearance of invoices.
    • Execute and optimise the ongoing campaigns in the multi-million dollar search engine portfolio to help achieve the overall CPA and ROI targets.
    • Provide search-related analysis, input and consultation to constantly refine and improve on search marketing strategy.
    • Support and implement, the airline's search marketing short and medium term strategy to drive conversions and inquiries at qatarairways.com.
    • Implement industry evolutions in our SEM campaigns to ensure we are aligned with digital progression and advancements on our E-Commerce s ace.

    About You

    We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Digital Marketing & Acquisition Team.

    • Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential.
    • 4+ years of job related experience.

    Essential Experience:
