Purpose of the role

 

The Corporate Wellbeing Manager is a key role within our wellbeing division, representing the next step in the progression from "Wellbeing Associate." This position involves the strategic development, implementation, and management of comprehensive wellbeing programs for corporate clients. The Corporate Wellbeing Manager will lead client engagements, support business growth, and ensure the delivery of impactful wellbeing solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Client Wellbeing Program Management

    Design and deliver tailored corporate wellbeing programs based on client needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry trends.
    Provide expert consultation on employee wellbeing initiatives, including mental health, physical wellness, nutrition and general health
    Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships, addressing client concerns, and ensuring program satisfaction and retention.

Strategic Development & Innovation

    Support the evolution of wellbeing offerings by contributing to the design and execution of innovative solutions that address emerging health risks and trends.
    Collaborate with internal teams to identify new business opportunities and expand service offerings, promoting growth in our wellbeing division.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

    Ensure seamless execution of client wellbeing programs, ensuring competitive, value-driven offerings for clients.
    Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and adherence to internal policies and procedures.

Client Communication & Reporting

    Provide clear, concise, and proactive communication to clients.
    Prepare and deliver program reports, analyzing data to demonstrate program success and areas for improvement, ensuring clients see value in their partnership with us.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

    Work closely with the People Solutions team and other departments to ensure cohesive service delivery across all aspects of corporate wellbeing.
    Mentor and guide junior team members, particularly Wellbeing Associates, supporting their development and ensuring the team operates with excellence.

Qualifications
 

    A keen interest in Wellbeing overall, whether as a hobby or reflected in the role you currently do
    Experience in organizing and arranging events
    A thorough understanding of and adherence to Lockton standards and procedures.
    Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers, and associates.
    Ability to manage time, prioritize and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
    Protects the confidentiality of information learned by performing position duties.
    Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
    Proficient computer skills specifically in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and similar software applications.
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    Demonstrates strong adaptability and actively seeks opportunities for professional growth and development.

We are seeking a knowledgeable Head of Department of English to join Reigate Grammar School Riyadh (RGSR).
Job Summary:
The Head of the English Department is
responsible for leading and managing the
English curriculum for secondary school
students. This role involves overseeing the
planning, implementation, and evaluation of
the English program, ensuring it meets the
educational standards and the needs of
students. The Head of Department will
collaborate with other departments and
contribute to the overall academic goals of
the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Leadership:
Develop and implement a
comprehensive English curriculum
that aligns with international
standards and school objectives.
Regularly review and update the
curriculum to incorporate best
practices and current trends in
English education.
Teaching and Learning:
Support and mentor English teachers
in delivering high-quality instruction
and fostering a positive learning
environment.
Conduct regular classroom
observations and provide
constructive feedback to teachers.
Teaching Responsibilities:
The Head of English will maintain a
teaching load that contributes to the
delivery of high-quality instruction
and supports the academic
development of students.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Oversee the assessment and
evaluation processes for English
students, including the development
of assessments that accurately
measure student progress.
Analyze student performance data
to inform instructional practices and
curriculum adjustments.
Professional Development:
Organize and facilitate professional
development opportunities for
English faculty to enhance their
teaching skills and subject
knowledge.
Encourage collaboration and sharing
of best practices among teachers.
Communication and Collaboration:
Serve as a liaison between the
English department and other
departments, fostering
interdisciplinary collaboration.
Communicate effectively with
students, parents, and the school
community regarding the English
program and student progress.
Administrative Duties:
Manage departmental budgets,
resources, and materials effectively.
Participate in school leadership
meetings and contribute to strategic
planning initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or
a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years teaching experience
in English at the secondary level, with at
least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience teaching up to and including
GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level English
(Language/Literature).
Experience in an British international
school setting is an advantage.

Job Description

The Corporate Communications Associate Director role will report to the Communications Director, Region CEEM (Central & Eastern Europe and Middle East). The role will be responsible for driving and implementing communications strategies and tactics for our recently approved gene therapy and future products in designated countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.  

Based in Riyadh, the role will involve communicating our corporate profile in a targeted manner and strategically supporting Vertex presence in the Region. This role will work closely with the cross-functional teams in the International Headquarters at London and CEEM headquarters in Munich.

 

    Develop and implement communications strategies and tactics to raise awareness of Vertex corporate profile and its mission in alignment with the International Communications and Region CEEM cross-functional teams

    Drive strong media relations  

    Organise media events and editorial visits, prepare press materials including releases, Q&A documents, backgrounders, briefing materials, etc.

    Work closely with the cross-functional leads in the GCC region to lead on external communication opportunities, spokespersons preparations, and media interviews

    In alignment with global and international teams develop/execute a local social media strategy where appropriate  

    Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure alignment in strategic priorities and messaging across different stakeholder groups including patient organizations, payor and policy audiences

    Anticipate, prepare and execute potential issues mitigation and management in line with international messaging

    Oversee media monitoring and reporting process

    Lead on the capture and reporting of relevant media insights, acting as a link between the local news agenda and the cross functional teams

    Building on international programs¸ tailor and support internal communications initiatives to enhance employee engagement and information flow, and ensure vision, goals and expectations are understood

    Manage and track the budget of local communications agencies

 

Key Requirements:

    Good understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotech business model, in particular in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and GCC area e.g. collaboration with key local stakeholders to ensure alignment of content with business objectives and regulatory guidelines

    Strong track record of delivering digital communications in alignment with global colleagues that engages and informs stakeholders  

    Ability to deliver results with limited direction and guidance and on tight deadlines; a self-starter; curious with learning agility; ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with multiple, competing priorities

    Broad experience in issues mitigation and management

    Experience managing multiple projects (timelines, budgets, priorities) simultaneously; flexibility and results-oriented focus are essential

    Broad internal influencing skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive alignment towards project goals.

    Ability to interact with senior management and high-profile experts appropriately, with confidence and ease

    Strong understanding of media landscape across the GCC, in particular the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and history of achieving strong media results  

    Established media contacts would be advantageous

    Working knowledge of rare diseases including cell and gene therapy

    Demonstrated knowledge of compliance regulations and principles specific to communications for a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company

    Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

    Good collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills; strong interpersonal skills; a team player

    Excellent strategic thinker with ability to formulate, develop and execute on agreed strategies

    Operationally excellent and resilient in the context of a rapidly changing environment

    At least a BA degree in communications, liberal arts, business or science-oriented field with proven relevant experience, which includes solid healthcare public relations experience

    PR agency experience or in-house at another pharmaceutical/biotech company required

    Fluency in Arabic and English written and spoken

    Strong cultural awareness and the ability to effectively influence business strategies

    Saudi citizenship

Flex Designation:
Hybrid-Eligible Or On-Site Eligible

Flex Eligibility Status:

In this Hybrid-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:
1.    Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select
2.    On-Site: work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.

Note: The Flex status for this position is subject to Vertex’s Policy on Flex @ Vertex Program and may be changed at any time.
