Your day to day
Maintain standards in the Restaurants at all times as per Outlet guidelines
Takes full control of the Outlet in the absence of the outlet/asst. manager
To be a role model for the team and lead by example
Ensure Captains, Waiters/Waitress are fully briefed on outlet standards and follow up to ensure they are followed
Helps the outlet manager create and design all new food & beverage menus
Report any guests complaint to the outlet manager
Ensure proper rotation of all items in outlet stores
All maintenance issues to be followed up on a daily basis
Logbooks and administration to be maintained
All tips from your section to be declared to the outlet manager
Encourage sales through great service at all times
Assigns stations to the Captains, Waiter/Waitress
Ensure level of service is maintained
Attend all daily briefings during working hours
Set training plans for six months in advance
Attend all scheduled trainings and meetings
Conduct training and coaching on job and off job when required
Ensure the staff in outlet are well motivated
Carry out any additional duties
Works in other outlets as and when required
To work with the Outlet Chef of the kitchen assigned to prepare food items for the outlet.
To prepare with this Outlet Chef Recipes and specifications for canapés, snacks and other food items
To ensure that all employees report for duty punctually wearing the correct employee fashion and name badges at all times.
To ensure that all employees provide a courteous and professional service at all times.

Being attentive to guests
Accurately and promptly fulfilling guest requests
Understand and anticipate guest needs
Maintain a high level of knowledge which will enhance the guest experience
All food & beverage to be served to guests within required times
All guest inquiries to be followed up to ensure business is not lost
Ensure great welcome and farewell for all guests
To ensure that all operating standards comply with Company and Hotel Policies and Procedures and Minimum Standards.
To supervise the employees within the department, ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Department's Operations Manual.
To ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel's policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
To respond to changes in departmental functions as dictated by the industry, the company, or the hotel.
To maintain health and safety standards of the hotel by reporting all health and safety and security violations for immediate action.
Well aware of CP-Bahrain FLS Manual.
To be well aware of Fire and BT evacuation plan & assembly point.
All equipment to be stored well and kept clean with monthly inventory
Requisitions to be performed on time and accurately
All park stocks to be maintained
Report all missing items
attends the revenue room in the absence of the outlet/asst manager

Housekeeping Manager

A Housekeeper Manager is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while evaluating guest satisfaction and setting department targets and objectives.

What will I be doing?

A Housekeeper Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all housekeeping/Laundry operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Housekeeping Manager will also be required to evaluate guest satisfaction and set department targets and objectives. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Oversee housekeeping operations
Oversee Laundry Operations
Evaluate Guest satisfaction levels and monitor trends with a focus on continuous improvement
Operate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well managed schedules
Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures
Inspect, regularly, all fixtures, fittings, and appliances to ensure compliance to standards and take action as necessary to conform to standard
Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Housekeeping/Laundry Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork
Ensure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities
Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers
Ensure staffing levels cover business demands
Ensure ongoing training
Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated
Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures
Recruit, manage, train and develop the Housekeeping/Laundry team
Competent in property management systems
Assist other departments wherever necessary

What are we looking for?

A Housekeeper Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

Housekeeping/laundry experience in the hotel/leisure/retail sector in a managerial or supervisory capacity
A successful track record of managing a large team
A high school certificate or equivalent
High level of commercial awareness and cost control capabilities
Previous experience of managing a department and Profit and Loss account
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
Ability to work under pressure
IT proficiency
Excellent grooming standards
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Proficiency, at an intermediate level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office
Strong organizational, budget management, and problem solving skills
Strong communication skills
A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in a procurement managerial role especially in the Construction Industry

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish and implement effective purchasing policies, procedures, and best practices.
Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
Implement procurement policies to ensure timely and budget-conscious procurement of all items.
Identify and source new suppliers and vendors, conducting thorough evaluations based on price, quality, support, capacity, and reliability.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
Establish and update an approved vendor/supplier database.
Develop, negotiate, and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers.
Evaluate contracts for compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.
Monitor supplier and vendor compliance with contractual agreements.
Measure and manage vendor and supplier cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Oversee supplier compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations.
Address cost, quality, and delivery concerns promptly and effectively.
Develop and implement policies for "zero" or "minimum cash transaction" procedures.
Manage risks related to quality, cost, delivery, and supply of purchases.
Introduce performance improvement measures for suppliers and vendors.
Collaborate with relevant departments to manage inventory requirements.
Facilitate timely placement of purchase orders.
Review purchase orders for authorization and compliance with organizational policies.
Develop and manage purchasing budgets and forecasts.
Monitor and reduce purchase variances to meet profit objectives.
Produce regular reports on purchase commitments, costs, and delivery performance.
Oversee the daily activities of the purchasing department and ensure smooth operations.
Evaluate the performance of staff, provide development opportunities, and motivate the purchasing team.
Drive continuous improvement of purchasing processes aligned with organizational needs and market conditions.
Initiate and develop R&D functions within the purchasing department.
Fulfill any additional requirements imposed by the organization to improve functions, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills:

Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers.
Previous work experience as a Purchaser or in a similar role.
Proficiency in creating cost reports and other financial reports.
Understanding of supply chain procedures.
Hardworking with a positive attitude.
Proficient in using MS Office applications.
Excellent networking and time management skills.
