Overview of the role

The HR Analyst - Payroll will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple locations, maintaining payroll data integrity, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. This role involves handling payroll-related inquiries, generating reports, supporting system implementations, and collaborating with various departments to enhance payroll processes.

 

What you will do

    Assist in processing monthly payroll for employees across multiple locations and ensure accuracy and compliance with local regulations and company policies.
    Maintain employee payroll records, including claims/reimbursements, incentives, deductions, overtime, payroll locks, and off-cycle payroll inputs. Conduct preventive checks and validations prior to payroll runs.
    Resolve support tickets/cases related to payroll inputs (claims/reimbursements, overtime, incentives, deductions) and payroll reports within target SLA standards.
    Review and update claims submitted through self-service workflows.
    Ensure payroll processes and inputs adhere to local labor laws and statutory requirements in each country within the regions.
    Generate payroll reports as needed, including salary reconciliations and statutory deductions.
    Work closely with finance to resolve payroll posting-related queries and Collaborate with Business HR on bulk payroll inputs and approvals.
    Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes with overall business operations.
    Assist in the implementation of new payroll software or systems, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and parallel payroll runs.
    Assist in internal and external payroll audits by providing accurate documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
    Address employee inquiries related to payroll, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Required Skills to be successful

    Proven experience in payroll processing and management.
    Strong understanding of local labor laws and statutory requirements.
    Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
    Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
    Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

What equips you for the role

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field and Minimum 5 years’ experience within Payroll.
    Good verbal and written communication skills to enable effective interactions with HR teams members, employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
    Technology proficiency and familiarity with HR software e.g., SuccessFactors Employee Central, PeopleAssist Case Management Tool, SAP HCM and HANA system.

JOB PURPOSE

ENBD Complaint Management Unit (CMU) enhances customer experience by managing complaints from various channels, including centralized complaints, customer care, and branch services. It ensures effective service recovery and addresses root causes to improve customer satisfaction. Additionally, it defines and delivers service excellence strategic goals to enhance overall customer experience at Emirates NBD.

As a Complaint Management Administrator, you will manage complaints and inquiries from channels overseen by the Complaint Management Unit, initiate service recovery, and coordinate with departments for faster resolution of escalated service requests while providing feedback.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Record complaints, provide reference numbers to customers, investigate and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution, and communicate outcomes to customers. Share critical cases with management and suggest solutions to prevent future complaints.
    Actively manage customer enquiries by logging them with relevant details, following up for resolution, and keeping the customer informed. Escalate critical cases and propose solutions to improve process.
    Thoroughly assess each valid complaint to determine rightful compensation using our established guidelines and communicate the method directly to the customer.
    Provide consultancy to branches for successful SR closure and coordinate with relevant departments to address and resolve any identified process gaps.
    Investigate and follow-up with departments to resolve customer complaints, ensure proper communication, and share critical cases with management to suggest solutions and prevent future issues.
    Ensure proper implementation of audit and compliance guidelines.
     

REQUIREMENTS

    Education
    - High School / Graduate
     
    Experiences
    - Up to 5 years of experience (preferably Branch Banking and Call Center).
    - Good customer service delivery exposure
     
    Knowledge & Skills
    - Fluency in English, while knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.
    - Excellent oral & written communication skills.
    - Knowledge of systems (CRM, Finacle, FinnOne, etc), policies and processes.
    - Good team and relationship building capabilities.

    Co- drive in  envisioning growth areas  within key categories in operating markets, set plans and execute.
    Build country plans in consultation with distributors, sales heads, regional consumer marketing team to drive sell out.
    Assist marketing head  in developing future markets.
    Drive the digital and e-commerce agenda as per aligned KPI’s (Envision, plan and implement).
    Establish continuous discussions with distributors, assess impact (ROI) , correct and meet KPI’s.
    Building relationships with key customer counterparts to secure company’s share of voice .
    Drive the NPD agenda (Regional and Local)  as per the aligned country plans.
    Managing communication with local marketing agencies.
    Owning the Perfect Stores agenda and will be tracking and monitoring, reporting our in-market execution, and driving continuous improvements.
    Enabling the brand/category growth via in-market execution campaigns, working closely with Category Development teams, Regional and DS, and Sales Heads internally and externally with our distributors.

 

 Your profile

    You have sound expertise in the development and implementation processes of brand/product marketing. This coupled with ability to work under pressure and deadlines, multi task, and maintain focus on big picture
    Self started, team player , passionate and out going personality with excellent networking skills.
    Structured and analytical thinking- proven track record of working effectively with a cross-functional team
    Data collection- data analysis- business analytics- EXCEL- PPT
    4-5 years experience in similar roles (FMCG (dairy or non-dairy), sales experience is a plus.
    Actively engaged in designing and rolling out of both traditional and digital campaigns
    Bachelors holder in commerce, Masters is a plus
    Market Exposure : + 1 Distributor Sales  market
    Your presentations skills are good, and you are well-spoken     

 

Furthermore, you:

    Have a degree in Marketing or Business administration  
    Hold min. 5 Years of experience in the FMCG sector
    You have preferably 4+ years of experience in Brand / channel Category building.
    You understand your customer's value chains, and are used to work with consumer pricing, promotions and knows when to push or pull
