• Ensure the preparation of all piping & static equipment related philosophies, design basis,
procedures, standard drawings, and vendor documents.
• Prepare the piping & static equipment engineering documentation, establishing major
methods and data to ensure the selection of the optimum design from both technical and
economic standpoints, piping material specification, valve specification, piping design
specification, criteria for pipe supporting and pipe support specification
• Review Engineering deliverables such as Specs, Data Sheet, Material Requisition, TBE, GAD,
design calculation and Isometrics, etc. and apply international standards, best engineering
practices, and company standards & procedures. Solid expertise and knowledge of current
design techniques, concepts, and standards.
• Advice during the Material Selection criteria Provide resolution of Technical Queries and
Technical
Deviations during detailed engineering.
• Ensure technical and quality accuracy for Engineering Deliverables of Piping layout,
standards, and
isometrics, MTO, and participate in project reviews, workshops, and models reviews, Gas.
• Ensure the preparation and reviews of the Stress Analysis Philosophy.
• Participate pre and post contract award for discussions, clarifications.
• Coordination execution, and progress of piping & static equipment Engineering design with
stakeholders.
• Liaise with Vendor’s representatives. Managed meetings with the suppliers, client, licenser,
and interfaces.
• Participate in KOM & PIM and monitored inspection works, inspection surveillance,
progress, and commissioning visits Experience with test packs for any air pressure testing of
pipe work, and “Golden Welds” for modifications after testing and develop site work
packages for engineering work orders applying industry best practices for piping & static
equipment
• Conduct site inspection/visit for accuracy of piping system & static equipment including
mechanical
 
 
Required candidates with minimum 10 years of experience in Oil& Gas holding bachelor degree in Engineering

Responsibilities

    Job Purpose                                       

    This role is suited for a professional who is passionate about combining their technical expertise in oilfield production with a talent for sales and client relations. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, results-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.

     

    The Oilfield Production Technologist role will be with a focus on sales and client relations and would be primarily responsible for bridging the technical aspects of oilfield production with client's needs and sales objectives. This role involves applying in-depth knowledge of oilfield production technologies and processes to assist in developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and driving business growth. The individual will act as a technical advisor, ensuring that the products and services offered align with client requirements and industry standards.

     

    Duties & Responsibilities

     

    Our Account Manager drives and supports revenue and profit growth by establishing and maintaining relationships and connectivity with clients at senior levels within their organization. You will also continue the development and execution of strategic account plans which are aligned with global, regional and local sales and marketing strategies.

     

    1. *Client Relationship Management*: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

    Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions in oilfield production and subsurface related technologies.
        *Sales and Business Development*: Identify sales opportunities and work closely with the sales team to strategize and execute sales plans. Assist in negotiating contracts and closing deals.
        *Technical Expertise*: Provide expert knowledge on oilfield production technologies. Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
        *Product and Service Promotion*: Promote the organization’s products and services by demonstrating their value and benefits in meeting client needs.
        *Collaboration and Coordination*: Work closely with the technical and sales teams to ensure a cohesive approach in delivering solutions to clients.
        *Client Training and Support*: Offer technical support and training to clients, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of the products and services.
        *Feedback and Improvement*: Gather client feedback to improve product offerings and services. Liaise with the product development team to suggest enhancements based on client needs.
        *Market Analysis*: Conduct market analysis to identify new trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the oilfield production sector.
        *Reporting and Documentation*: Prepare and present technical and sales reports to upper management. Ensure all client interactions and transactions are accurately documented.
        *Data Analsysis*: Diagnosis of well problems by integrating electrical logs, pressure tests and other reservoir information and identifying integrated solutions.

Qualifications

Experience & Education

REQUIRED

    Bachelors in Engineering or a related field
    Production optimization
    Formation Evaluation.
    15+ Years of experience

PREFERRED

    Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Geology
    Operator experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

 

    Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    Proven experience in oilfield production technology and a strong sales background interfacing with clients on a daily basis.
    Ability to demonstrate that they are commercially astute and have a good understanding of tenders, contracts, negotiations, high margin / profitability achievement as well as the requirements for high quality customer service
    Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
    Ability to translate technical knowledge into sales advantages.
    Sufficient business acumen to enable opportunity evaluation and effective prioritiziation
    Must be a team player with good communication skills, both verbal and written
    Ability to manage simultaneous projects under tight schedules, relaxed under pressure
    Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-focused mindset.
    Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.

Job Purpose

    Coordinate with Contracts Leads to assist and complete strategic cost and contract related activities within the section. Coordinate with Contracts Leads to assist and complete strategic cost and contract related activities within the section

Job Context & Major Challenge(s) - I

    Operating in a challenging environment involving interactions and coordination with various and complex stakeholders.

    Coordination within the Cost and Contracts team is required to ensure excellence in service delivery.

Key Job Accountabilities - I

    Coordinate with the Cost and Contracts Leads to ensure smooth functioning and effective implementation of key tasks and oversee the cost estimation activities to ensure efficiency and cost optimization.
    Assist with developing strategies for key contracts including negotiation strategies to ensure that fair prices are obtained and cost effectiveness is maintained.
    Review demand plans prepared by various departments to ensure they are compiled and submitted as per the timelines agreed with Supply department.
    Coordinate and liaise with the Supply department to ensure clear lines of communication are maintained.
    Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure invoices are cleared on time and coordinate and support the OPCO Budget and Reporting team to ensure that all deliverables are submitted on time.
    Coordinate all internal and external audits for the section and finalize and maintain updated status of the section KPIs.
    Maintain an updated action tracking register and review monthly reports to identify and implement necessary actions in coordination with the Head of Contracts.

Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business administration or equivalent.

Knowledge and/or Experience - I

    8 years’ experience in a cost and contracts management environment within the oil and gas industry
