Project: This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

Your responsibilities will include:

Creating cost estimates, studies, analyses, and evaluations, at all levels of project development, as part of the internal team.

Providing a detailed review of all documentation and developing comprehensive cost estimates/models that communicate our client's project and strategic goals.

Performing quantity take-off in a manner and level of detail consistent with the project goals.

Inputting estimate data into appropriate software.

Conducting estimate reviews of contractor estimates and variations.

Assuring that a quality product is presented to the client through adherence to the company's QA/QC procedures.

Communicating effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project's goals (verbal, written, and graphics).

Researching and developing sources/vendors for compiling and maintaining the accuracy of cost information.

Investigating and incorporating project constraints into cost analysis.

Reviewing contractor and subcontractor change order estimates.

Role Purpose

Accountant will be required to:

Support Financial Control team and Treasury team in carrying out a range of accounting tasks and responsibilities to ensure integrity and sound control of the NEOM financial reporting function and alignment with IFRS and SOX, as NEOM business activity evolves.

Have the ability to work on own initiative, prioritise and manage multiple issues simultaneously and with a high level of attention to detail.

Have the ability to contribute as a member of a team, to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Preparation of high quality daily, weekly and monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations as assigned for high volume of bank statements, across operations, revenue and payroll.

Entering of manual journals and clearing of bank transactions as appropriate to maintain clean SAP reporting and accounting ledgers, and a clear audit trail.

Own end to end record to report monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities in relation to NEOM Group bank accounts, for multiple entities/sectors.

Ensure understanding and oversight of reconciling and aged items and ensure timely clearing and resolution of issues.

Responsible for booking all intercompany transactions for assigned subsidiaries and sectors as it relates to bank transactions and transfers.

Responsible for booking NEOM credit card transactions, and staff and government expenses as shared by the accounts payable team.

Resolve bank transaction or bank statement issues to ensure GL code balances are reflecting accurate balances.

Operate within the required SOX controls framework, completing assigned control procedures, and supporting with specified SOX activities.

Liaise with and ensure positive working relationship with accounting, accounts payable, treasury, tax, and relevant business/subsidiary teams to inform of significant or unusual transactions, confirm accounting actions and keep up-to-date with new bank accounts.

Responsible for addressing annual financial statement & audit related queries in relation to NEOM Group bank accounts.

Support with new system and system enhancement projects to drive automation of tasks and controls and reduce time and error.

Qualifications

Highly competent and trustworthy

Minimum 2 years of relevant bank reconciliation experience in accounting or payables team.

Experience working with KSA banks and bank reporting is an advantage.

SAP experience is highly desired.

Multi-currency experience a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with intermediate Excel skills.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with great attention to detail.

Highly organized and strong work ethic to achieve hard deadlines.

Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with last-minute deadline driven tasks.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills across multiple levels and functions.

Bachelors degree in accounting, business or finance.

Studying towards ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA professional qualification is advantage.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The job holder will be responsible for providing support to the HR Manager in terms of manpower planning, resource allocation, recruitment, talent development and HR operations within the territory

DO — Key Responsibilities

Manpower Planning & Recruitment

· Support in planning and preparing annual manpower acquisition plan and bugdet for the Territory

· Monitor and Support in achievement of the recruitment targets for the Territory as per the approved manpower budget

· Ensure effective utilization of the local recruitment quota (nationalisation target)

· Support in deciding on the priority recruitment channels for the Territory in consultation with the Central Talent Acquisition

· Help in all WL1 hiring ( shortlisting,scheduling, interview, selection, negotiation and offer acceptance)

Induction, Training & Development (In case applicable)

· Support the Learning& Development team in the Training needs analysis for the Territory

· Assist in ensuring smooth execution of the induction process for the new entrants ( induction training, cubicle allotment, team introduction, joining processes and formalities etc)

· Assist in conducting monthly induction workshops and ensure end to end onboarding for new hires

· Distribute Employee Services Handbook to new entrants to familiarize them about the Company, Service Rules & Benefits

Employee Relations & Talent Management

· Help introduce Employee Retention/Recognition Programmes such as Employee of the month, Long Service Award etc for the Territory

· Ensure safekeeping and maintenance of all employee related files and records

· Help manage and monitor the Human Resource Information system effectively to ensure that correct and complete information is stored in the system and is used effectively for the benefit of the organization

· Enable management of employee requests on an on-going basis. These may include but not limited to vacation requests, transfers, employee certificates, etc

· Help manage and monitor the employee separation process, thereby ensuring smooth exit of employee from the organization. This may include managing activities such as exit interviews, full and final settlement, etc

· Support in objective administration of the performance appraisal process and accuracy in feedback collation

· Support in tracking of performance management and present reports on a regular basis to the management

· Execute on-time disbursement of increments and incentive for the employees in the territory

· Ensure effective implementation of HR policies across the territory

· Ensure compliance with statutory provisions with respect to people practices and processes

Administration (In case applicable)

· Support in management of administration activities like taking care of the staying arrangements of employees, transportation, pantry, house keeping etc

· Support in management of the reception and secretaries of the Territory

· Monitor visa application and issue for employees in the Territory

Business Context

· Support business initiatives to develop a performance driven, customer-oriented culture

· Help find out the irritants which are causing non – performance, it could be issues with the supervisor, infrastructure support, pay package, no delegation of work etc

· Help partner with the business to drive important HR initiatives
