SPC Global Supply Chain Director, Baker Hughes, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities

Take a leadership role to fully support the business and drive alignment with organizational goals and projects.

• Review of assigned sourcing & manufacturing functional areas for correct structure, alignment and staffing to meet organizational needs

•Responsible for ensuring sourcing and manufacturing related processes and systems are reflective of business needs and are performing effectively and efficiently.

•Understand customers and OFSE business objectives, while evolving a sourcing strategy and business plan to fully support the business.

•Provide collaborative category management plans to senior management providing visibility on key operational achievements and measurable deliverables.

•Product group manufacturing Footprint: Support plant managers defining Manufacturing footprint.

•Define and follow up the manufacturing localization roadmap (which factory address, which market with which product lines, valid for active and new product introduction) define and follow the manufacturing API licenses globally (technology /production transfer).

•Performance targets: Ensure achievement of established targets, through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. Focus on achievement of Product Cost, Net Working Capital, CAPEX, Project On-Time and On-Cost, Quality PPM.

•Investment decision support: Support plant managers to define and implement CAPEX investment strategy: where to invest, types and amount of investment, local unit CIMT management support.

•Operational processes: Contribute to decide with HQ on production & engineering technology: degree of automation, operation processes standardization, equipment’s supplier base requirements and maintenance process definition.

•Product Cost optimization: Manage Product Cost control & optimization among the various manufacturing sites, including licensee factories, through regular production-cost comparison and benchmarking.

•Operation Excellence Support: Implementation of continuous improvement projects on-site to improve operational weaknesses. Define with the plant managers the Opex priorities and targets for the production and operating units and act on deviations from targets.

•Quality: Lead and manage Quality Processes standardization (including Supplier process), collaborating with Hub Quality Manager and OFSE Opex Manager.

•Leadership& Culture Building: Develop OpEx culture inside the manufacturing as a core competence. Initiates and drives staff development and job rotation programs for the OpEx community to develop

competence and global awareness

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical engineering or related field and 15+ years relevant experience

Proven experience in Operations/Supply Chain

Strategic thinking, able to analyze and manage complex business situations

Demonstrated success of leading global teams to achieve quantifiable results.

Highly motivated with ability to drive change in a decentralized / matrix organization.

Strong project management skills and results oriented.

Superior ability to analyze and synthesize current situation; formulate desired and stated outcomes.

Solid business acumen accompanied by solid and reliable interpersonal skills.

Availability for international travel

Assertiveness and ability to work in a virtual team

Proven intercultural competence

International experience / global mindset

Leadership and people management experience

Desired Characteristics

Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and ability to work independently.

What We’re Looking For

A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred, with a preference for additional certifications or training in Learning and Development.

A proven track record in Learning and Development in a Luxury Hotel is preferred.

Exquisite Understanding of Adult Learning Principles and Training Methodologies.

Previous experience in Forbes or Leading Quality Assurance (LQA)-Rated properties will be Advantageous, demonstrating a Strong Commitment to Luxury Service Standards.

Housing Associate

Human Resources Department: Traders Qaryat al Beri, Abu Dhabi

What are we looking for?

Excellent Computer Skills.

Communication Skills.

Administration experience.

Previous experience in property management or a related field is highly desirable.

Knowledge of housing laws and regulations.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

What will you do?

Coordinating maintenance works with the third-party contractors.

Daily room inspection to ensure the proper cleanliness, hygiene, and other facilities are well maintained.

Monitor and update water and electricity consumption for the accommodation.

Updating the Notice boards.

To supervise cleaning work performed by the outsourced cleaning company, (Kitchen, General rooms, Recreation, TV room) and report any irregularities.

To liaise with the security guards in monitoring the visitor register and visiting hours.

To be responsible for the safekeeping of the staff house keys.

To keep correct and up-to-date furniture, equipment, utensil, and linen inventories in the staff houses.

Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.

Evaluate and process housing applications.

Conduct eligibility assessments and ensure documentation is complete.

Room allocation assignment and welcoming the colleagues from Airport.

Assisting and accompanying the patients to hospital during emergencies.

Assist the Housing Manager to regularly conducts inspections to ensure proper cleaning and the respect of housing rules and regulations.

Traders Hotel, Qaryat al Beri, Abu Dhabi

The hotel comprises 301 well-appointed guestrooms and suites. Rooms start at a spacious 32 square metres and feature a stylish design of warm tones and comfortable furnishings. For travelers requiring the highest levels of service and attention, the hotel also offers 80 Traders Club rooms on the seventh, eighth and ninth floor, as well as suites on the first to seventh floor. With a blend of contemporary style and comfortable furnishings, Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi is ideally located in the Qaryat Al Beri complex, which houses Shangri-La Hotel, Shangri-La Residences, CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La, The Villas by Shangri-La and a Souk.
