ROLE PURPOSE

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving EPOS sales value, managing customer 4P plan, be responsible for TTC management and will be the first point of contact for a multi-functional key account approach. The key accounts are Carrefour, Lulu & Spinneys and will also include the responsibility to negotiate and agree Middle East regional JBPs/ BDAs with full support and sign off from Head of Sales. Key Account Manager must build and maintain a strong relationship, be the lead point of contact for all matters, anticipate the client's needs, and work within the company framework to ensure deadlines for the client are met.

YOUR TASKS

Beiersdorf Internal

Developing and tracking by account full year sales strategy.

Prepare a full year forecast, review and amend on a monthly basis aligned to S&OP.

Managing and controlling total customer budget.

Working in line with finance team to assure customer reconciliation.

Facilitating and collaborating with different support functions to insure BDF KPIs are delivered within set parameters.

Fully monitor and track customer EPOS data to support insights to action approach.

Customer Head Office Level (with Al Seer)

Negotiating and finalizing annual BDA.

Monthly, Quarterly and FY Target Planning and Achievement by category, volume and value.

Building full year customer promotional plan by Week, category & SKU in line with company and customer activation plans to insure sell in – out and market share growth.

Establish and maintain effective Customer relationship.

Business review with categories managers; Forecast & Achievement.

Monthly account reconciliation with finance team.

Executing customer activation plan at head office and working with BDF S&CM team to ensure OTIF execution vs. plan.

Monthly FC and DIH review with category manager.

New products listing and distribution management.

Alignment/agree with category manager. on BDF required activities/campaigns.

Alignment/follow up with supply chain team on SOH and DIH.

Following up orders delivery with customer WH admins.

Ensuring weekly sellout data OTIF and insights to actions.

Agree NLP with category manager and follow up customer system update.

Store Level

Follow up promo activities implementation.

Follow up POS implementation.

Check availability and planogram.

Discuss with store managers about any issues/requirements.

Follow up and report competition activities.

The Global Response team at Meta is responsible for ensuring that our platforms are prepared to support people during periods of escalated tension anywhere in the world such as during international elections, violent conflict or civil unrest.

Our Global Response Team is seeking an experienced and agile Program Manager to work across functions, including with members of our Leadership team, on our highest priority issues across the company. 

The Regional Program Manager, MENA will combine a passion for Meta’s mission with deep knowledge of the political and social dynamics across the Middle East and North Africa. We are looking for candidates who have experience working on complex cross-functional projects and quickly creating org-wide partnerships. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience communicating across all levels of an organization and effectively resolving process gaps. 

The Regional Program Manager, MENA will be responsible for coordinating company-wide responses to critical events across the region, including elections and periods of heightened tensions, as well as developing strategies to mitigate offline harm in anticipation of high risk events.  

Ideal candidates are highly organized and impact oriented, excited about fast-paced work in high urgency high importance situations, are able to address complex problems in structured and creative ways, and are skilled at driving decisions in ambiguous environments.

Candidates should have:

- Experience working across diverse teams and a demonstration of strong diplomacy skills; 

- Understanding of geopolitical issues across the Middle East and North Africa - and the intersection of Meta at these issues with a strong eye for potential reputational risks to the company, as well as safety and security risks to the community;

- Experience in tackling highly complex, technical and time sensitive problems;

The ability to rally colleagues from across the company to strategically focus on the most critical risks

- Candidates should be highly organized, impact-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced and globally distributed work environment.

Regional Program Manager MENA, Global Response Responsibilities

Work across global, regional and functional teams to identify risks affecting Meta’s users in situations of escalated tension in the Middle East and North Africa region, and drive solutions to mitigate these risks.

​​Develop, coordinate and execute plans to reduce risks in a systematic and effective way in the context of elections and societal violence in MENA countries.

Align systems and processes to ensure an efficient, effective, and cohesive response from the company during sensitive periods of time.

Absorb a significant amount of information from a variety of inputs to help frame and communicate product, policy, and process requirements.

Lead cross-functional meetings, align decision-makers, and escalate issues to leadership.

Collaborate with other colleagues on the Global Response team to develop strategic long term roadmaps to mitigate risks globally.

Some international travel and meetings outside standard business hours will be required.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of our mission, our community, and our values.

Deep understanding of the geopolitical and social dynamics in the MENA region that impact Meta, with a strong eye for potential reputational risks to the company, as well as safety and security risks to the community.

Experience developing multiple courses of action to mitigate risk, taking into account urgency, dependencies, resource constraints and second order effects.

Experience working effectively and swiftly with all levels of management, both internally and externally.

Experience driving and managing multiple projects simultaneously, especially related to the region.

Experience working in a cross-functional environment, consensus building and strong collaboration skills.

Experience driving decisions in ambiguous situations under time pressure.

Fluency in either Arabic or Persian (Farsi).

Overview of the role:

This role is to develop and maintain the functional aspects of the Automotive SAC system to be used for driver-based planning and management reporting. The role resides withing the Divisional FP&A/Corporate finance team and will act as a liaison with IT, Group Finance and various BU’s.

 

What you will do:

Application Management

To work with BU’s and COE’s to develop a centralised planning and reporting solution to be used across the Auto Division

To manage, consult, teach, troubleshoot, setup and maintain respective Automotive SAC solutions.

Investigates and develops specifications for system changes to handle workloads and high availability.

Develops and maintains documentation for Technical solution modifications.

Liaise with software suppliers and the Change Management team for problem resolution and deployment of system changes.

Ensure compliance with IT Policies, Security Standards and strengthen internal controls.

 

Solution Delivery

Work with internal and external implementation team members and partners to contribute to the development, testing and deployment of solutions.

Adheres to software development and maintenance standards by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of internal and external development best practices.

Estimate and deliver Automotive project assignments and system change requests as per agreed resourcing and timelines with the required quality.

 

Other Key Responsibilities

To liaise with relevant managers and stakeholders to ensure full collaboration and understanding on critical topics.

Contribute to the improvement of the solutions and business processes.

Maintains and upgrades professional knowledge, management skills and domain expertise by using continuous learning & development tools.

 

Required Skills to be successful:

Certified and expert in SAC

Qualified finance certificate ACCA, CMA

Strong personality & Excellent communication skills 

 

About the Team:

You will work in a fast-paced and diverse environment, reporting directly to the Sr. Financial Controller

 

What equips you for the role:

College or University degree in Commerce. (Professional qualification preferred e.g. ACCA, CIMA etc)

Knowledge of ETL methods

Experience in developing Driver-based planning solutions, preferably within SAP SAC

Exposure to reporting cubes using models and dimensions

5 years in an Accountant role, preferably Systems Accountant

Expert in working with SAP SAC

Extensive use of Excel

Automotive experience is a plus
