Regional Logistics Analyst
This position reports into, Mohamed Barikhan and is based at Dubai, UAE.

What will you do
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Consumer Planning organization and Manufacturing sites to optimize loading and transport operations to drive efficiencies in E2E operations of finished goods replenishment applying Lean principles
Manage relationships with transport and logistics service providers via metrics to improve reliability, reduce Lead-times, drive overall performance and agility, including business continuity set ups.
Drive Supplier enabled innovation and Sustainability: identify, assess, analyze, and implement innovation projects to deliver cost savings, improve efficiency and CO2 footprint
Proactively surfaces and resolves key issues with a sense of urgency, support agile operations in crisis management, help develop and execute business continuity plans
Support E2E Supply Chain projects from Inbound transportation perspective and support Logistics Procurement in tender and RFQs.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
Bachelor in logistics management/ supply chain management/ Business Administration
Minimum 3 years in end-to-end Supply chain related disciplines, good understanding of order-to-cash process
Desired Qualifications
Subject Matter Expertise across core Transportation, Planning and Carrier management, knowledge of import / export processes and Transportation management systems
Experience in managing complex operations across EMEA, working in a regional function and matrix organization.
Ability to provide leadership in complex and challenging situations.
High degree of independent judgement & decision making
Ability to drive continuous improvement (LEAN certification is desired) and innovation in Transportation management with an end-to-end view.
Excellent analytics skills with ability to conceptualize and build business cases
Demonstrated project, change management skills with process orientation, good communication and presentation skills
