Our client is the overseas arm of Saudi Aramco, overseeing FEED, Detailed Design and Project Management activities in locations across the globe for upcoming mega projects in the kingdom.

Due to the release of new work packages, we are seeking an experienced Secretary to join the team, reporting directly to the Project Manager and Business Administrator, two senior figureheads of the project.

The job holder will be highly competent as a Project Secretary and comfortable reporting into senior members of staff. Experience with Aramco will be highly desirable, but an alternative background within Oil and Gas, working on similarly large scale projects will also be viewed favourably

On offer is the chance to work on a long term contract until the end of 2023 and further, on a very high value project. There will be opportunity to stay with the client on other projects worldwide having secured this experience, including working on site in Saudi Arabia if desired.

Requirements

High standards of accuracy, communication, organisation and punctuality are essential. You will be working very closely with high profile management and directors / VPs, and as such an excellent eye for detail, work ethic and enthusiastic demeanour will be very much required in this role.

Overview of the role:

To operate within the context of Unified Communication solutions. Must be trained and certified on PABX/UC, CC solutions of any of the following products Alcatel Lucent, Cisco, Avaya, Mitel. The engineer will be part of the support team to Analyse, Design, Build, test and deploy the unified communication solutions.

 

What you will do:

•    Coordinate with presales and sales team to design ICT solution as per requirement of customer. 

•    Implement the solution as specified.

•    After sales support maintenance as per SLA signed with customers.

•    Plan, configure and oversee the implementation of Unified communication solutions in co-ordination with customers, principals, service providers, and business partners to ensure implementation meets design parameters.

•    Work on design and implementation of UC related infrastructure.

•    Providing post-sales support to customers.

•    Advanced Diagnostics (Tier 3 Technical Support) for Unified Communication Solutions :( i.e. Integration between hardware & software, messaging, UC/CC, CTI, applications, call accounting, recording and Complex multi-vendor solutions. )

•    Incident Management (Break/fix) activities including, but not limited to:

•    Determining best means to get system back up and running to original specifications.

•    Coordinating the repair/replacement of failed equipment.

•    Maintain current working knowledge of relevant system technologies.

•    Attending service requests, preventive maintenance health checks.

•    Perform change management activities.

•    Ensure the committed timelines are met for the projects at customer sites within the agreed scope, cost, and quality.

•    Ensure all project deliverables are tracked and communicated as per customer requirements.

•    Installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise level network hardware and applications.

•    Provide support for project implementation & documentation.

•    Training to customers on system usage.

•    Prioritizing workload to maximize productivity and minimize customer downtime.    

•    Ensure Customer Satisfaction with 24x7 Support readiness.    

 

Required Skills to be successful:

Job-Specific Skills:

Expert Level Certifications in Alcatel Lucent voice solutions/ACSE or from similar vendor.

Expert in implementing Alcatel Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise, OpenTouch Multimedia Services, Rainbow solutions, UC Applications, multi-vendor integrations.

Extensive design, implementation, and post –sales experience of UC solutions.

Experience in commissioning and support services of Unified communication solutions along with data networking.

Must have full solutions lifecycle experience including gathering requirements, design, test, documentation, configuration, and maintenance.

Excellent incident, problem management and analytical skills.

Strong understanding of UC-related protocols, SIP based infrastructure, UC applications, and integrations.

 

What equips you for the role:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

Graduate engineer or Diploma holder in Electronics / Telecom / IT/ computer science.

 

Minimum Experience:

Must have minimum 5 years of experience in Alcatel Lucent Voice/UC solutions or from similar vendor.

Technical Subject matter expertise on of Alcatel Lucent Unified Communication Solutions.

Extensive hands-on experience with voice and data infrastructure.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Accounting Manager, the Accountant is responsible for various tasks including: to supervise general ledger flow and balances reconciliation, legal requirements and internal procedures, preparing and posting journal entries, gathering information for internal and external audits. In addition, it would be required a support during monthly closure activities.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

Prepare and complete intercompany reconciliations.

Conduct and monitor the posting, balancing and reconciliation of the general ledger and subsidiary accounts related to AP; examine accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy; correct financial records as necessary; summarize and compile reports based on transactions.

Prepare and maintain summary spreadsheets of financial information and KPIs as requested.

Provide complete and accurate financial reports; verify and test financial data.

AP and Flow management for third party vendors and distributors

Maintain awareness of new trends and innovations in the field of accounting and information systems.

Accounts Payable – replacement during colleagues' absence

Assisting in VAT reporting and filing

Assist the team to complete the monthly closing activities, with accrual posting monitoring and system reconciliation.

Who we are looking for ?

Must have around 3 to 4 years of experience in accounting/finance.

Information systems management: 1 or 2 years of Exp in SAP 

Supplier Reconciliation/ problem solving/ some basic tax knowledge

Basic Accounting Knowledge ( data entry)

Good communication skills

Good computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft Excel
