This position will be focusing primarily on our Energy Systems line of business, which include telecommunications, IT, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), utilities and switchgear, security, emergency lighting and general electronics. Some of the reserve power brands include PowerSafe,DataSafe, and Genesis. Our extensive product range serves a variety of reserve power applications and consistently delivers the most effective, powerful and reliable batteries available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To manage, maintain and develop the Motive Power Middle Eastern business in line with Enersys’s global strategy and targets

- To manage regional distributors, Oem and key accounts, generate new business relationships

- To extend the sales of entire motive power product range of Enerys in Middle East market.

- To follow the requirements of the key accounts

- Generate distributorship network for transport and land products

Requirements

- Business experience in the industrial sales positions

- Knowledge for industrial batteries and power electronic equipment is necessary

- Bachelor or master degree in Engineering or Business Management.

- Technical background is essential

- Advanced English speaking & writing is essential

- Self-motivated and able to prioritize workload

- Good communication skills

- Willingness to travel

- Able to problem solve and act quickly, work under pressure

- Ability to be part of a “solutions “ orientated team

- Good level of MS Office knowledge will be an asset

- Result Oriented

- Act with speed, agility & sense of emergency

- Active driver

Job Summary

As a Front Office Manager, you would be responsible for directing and administering all Front Office operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards

As Front Office Manager, we rely on you to

Direct and administer all Front Office operations to include, but not limited to, guest service and registration (check-in/check-out), room inventory and availability, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls, and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation, and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation

Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward

Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly

Initiate and implement marketing and up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize room occupancy and overall revenue

Implement and monitor all corporate marketing programs

Ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and events

Run and complete daily reports, analyze data, and make decisions based on data

Resolve guest issues and concerns to guest satisfaction

Recruit, interview, and train team members

What we are Looking For

A degree holder in Hospitality Management or in a related field preferred

2+ years of previous experience as a front office manager or a related role preferred

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

In-depth understanding of the industry

Requirements

This position is for Local Omani Nationals.

Prior experience in Luxury Five Star Hotels in a similar position or as an Assistant Front Office Manager is mandatory.

Degree / Diploma holder in tourism or related studies.
