The opportunity

An exciting opportunity to be a part of our facilities management business that provides interrogated facilities management services for a leading global manufacturer, managing sites across KSA.

The facilities manager (FM) is responsible for managing all aspects of facilities services as detailed in the scope of works section of the contract and will report to the Senior facilities manager based in Dubai.

In this capacity, the job holder will be the person responsible for the service delivery at specified KSA locations, which will be measured by contractual KPIs/SLAs.

The FM is responsible for working directly with the local client to ensure a thorough understanding of their objectives and the implementation of acceptable property-specific operating strategies that achieve these required standards. Once developed the FM must oversee the implementation of all approved initiatives and programs, by managing and coordinating the efforts of the FM team (e.g., direct reports, service providers, contractors, and building employees) to achieve the goals. The FM is responsible for representing Mace in the local and regional business.

The facilities manager shall have the ultimate authority over all the work required in completing the requirements of the contract.

Your responsibilities will include:

Observing procedures as required by the contract.

Driving Mace’s workplace experience, sustainability and technology advancements to the client.

Providing general administration of the department, (holidays, training, performance reviews and etc.).

Updating and maintaining official safety documents, liaising with government authorities.

Maintaining full financial awareness and control.

Overseeing the meeting KPIs and SLAs defined within the contract.

Promoting Safety first, going home safe and well.

Preparing and distributing the quarterly/annual business review (QBR/ABR) information to the client’s satisfaction.

Delivering to the client what we promise.

Organising the fire evacuation and first aid training for employees.

About you

You have a degree qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering. You have certification of PMP/FMP or a member of BIFM would be beneficial. You have manufacturing experience. You have experience in owning facilities contracts and supplier/contractor management.

You are digitally savvy and an expert user of MS Office software. You have knowledge of health, safety and the environment is beneficial. You have experience in facilities management and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.

The senior design manager is responsible for ensuring that all project(s), or programme design management related activities undertaken by the design management team, are in accordance with the requirements of the project execution plan, PMIS, or other governing framework, as may be applicable, prepared by the ADD, and approved by the programme, or project director.

The SDM provides leadership to the DM team, and support to the AD-design, and for ensuring that personal health, safety, and wellbeing, and that of the team is maintained.

Your responsibilities will include:

Examining the design consultants to maximise quality and value while minimising the risk profile for the project.

Managing third party and client technical and constructability reviews of deliverables.

Managing designer procurement, contracts and performance.

Engaging the technical resources required to challenge the designers to obtain the most beneficial balance of quality, value and risk for the overall.

Providing regular progress reports on all of the above to the project manager.

Checking of all construction issue information.

Monitoring the drawing production progress.

Managing the information flow.

Managing the incorporation of any comments.

Checking the drawings and confirm approvals for issue.

Liaising with document controller for publication and down-loading of drawings.

Ensuring the correct drawing procedure.

Providing report on planning and process.

Ensuring correct specification as advised.

Liaising with planning manager.

Providing input into O&M manuals.

Assisting in the provision of an effective and efficient, high quality engineering design

Managing and assisting in the management of the project involving the construction of special-to-type equipment.

Ensuring that all information relating to projects and assets is accurately recorded and stored appropriately.

Drafting of procurement/technical submission programme.

SOCIAL INITIATIVE:

Actively promote and ensure all procedures, subordinates and subcontractors comply with HS&E policies and procedures. Preparation of project specific Hazard Identification Studies and Job Safety Analysis as required for operations under his control. Review project safety plan and ensure the contents are communicated and implemented. Review and become familiar with the contract documents, specifications and drawings of operation under his supervision.

Liaise with Project Managers during project execution to ensure that Client and Project Management requirements are satisfied.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Lead the multi discipline Production Engineering team for executing the fabrication scope of the project, manages Operations Engineering & Yard activities to meet the schedule and support Construction Manager/PMT in cordinating with other functions, client, subcontractor, third party agencies etc.

Ensure that adequate engineering personnel and equipment resources are assigned to operations under his supervision.

Direct the work sequence of equipment in the field and coordinate the Offshore Operations, vessel movements, etc., on a daily basis.

Monitor the progress of the work and site conditions and advising the Project Management Team and all departments in the Offshore Division of any developments that may result in changes to the work schedule and / or execution sequence

Issue and maintain the offshore schedule for operations under his supervision, and advise concerned department.

Coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of marine spreads and Subcontractors assigned to operations under his supervision.

Ensure that documentation is issued on schedule and in accordance with Project and Division requirements. Documents include, but are not limited to, the following: Material and Equipment Loadout List, Offshore Installation and Operations Level Ill Procedures As-Built / Post Job Records and Reports

Essential Qualifications and Education:

Degree/ Diploma in Engineering (Civil/ Mechanical/ Naval Architect/ Electrical) with Topside/ Jacket/Pipeline experience.

10 - 15 year Fabrication experience in leading on single/ multi discipline role for projects in Oil & Gas

Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of professional engineering society.
