Responsibilities
QUALITY

Responsible for being familar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherfords Management System
Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement
OPERATIONS

Anticipates, identifies and analyzes business opportunities, needs and challenges to deliver solutions
Contributes to the Weatherford HR strategy and translates it for the client and HR team
Establishes trusted working relationships with business leadership and staff to be able to actively and effectively advise and provide thought partnership and coaching
Ensures key business HR processes are delivered with high expectations for quality results (e.g., performance, talent, resourcing, compensation, retention, DE&I, employee relations, HRMS, training/development, communication, change management)
Contributes from design through execution on organization, portfolio and leadership changes and the change management of each
Collaborates across a global, highly distributed, matrixed and transformational business environment
Acts as a Change & Culture Transformation champion
Functions autonomously with minimal guidance from the Global Manufacturing HR Manager to independently meet the needs of the organization
Analyzes data trends and metrics to assess and/or anticipate business risks and, in partnership with HR Centers Of Excellece (COE), develops and/or deploys recommended solutions, programs and applicable policies
Works with management and HR COE partners to develop appropriate compensation and benefit strategies tied to geography and external market indicators
Independently manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations for assigned cases
Cultivates a positive workplace culture
 

COMMUNICATION

Maintains effective communication with all key stakeholders both internally and where appropriate externally
Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports
Effectively communicates with a global, cross-functional, diverse workforce focused on continuous quality and productivity improvement of HR service delivery
Stakeholder engagement bolstered by strong customer focus to develop and sustain productive customer and stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organization
Ensures stakeholder understanding and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements as well as Weatherford’s policies, procedures, and standards
 

FINANCIAL

All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses
Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure
Understands the fundamentals of financial management in a global HR function and what constitutes effective, optimal delivery of cost-effective HR services
Provides guidance, tools and action plans to meet talent, financial, productivity, quality and other HR targets
 

PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT

Employees should engage on a regular basis with their line manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career potential
Supervisors are expected to actively engaging their employees to support talent management through Weatherford’s performance management process, including but not limited to talent assessments, succession planning & regular coaching opportunities
Supervisors should collaborate with Human Resources & Training Development to drive strategies for the recruitment & retention of key personal & to foster an environment that supports the attraction & retention of a high performing talented workforce
Responsible for leading a team of HR professionals in multiple countries and actively engaging them to support their development (performance, talent identification, succession planning, development)
Guides the EH Manufacturing HR team to have influence and contribute to the Global Manufacturing and Weatherford organizations
Contribute to creating a talent pipeline that assures the right people are placed at the right time with the right skill
 

VISION & LEADERSHIP

Demontrates leadership, ethical behaviour and adherence to Weatherford standards at all times
Contributes to the Weatherford HR strategy and translate it for the client and country such that a compelling vision and purpose is understood
 

Qualifications
Experience & Education

 

REQUIRED

 

10 years progressive general HR experience, including a demonstrated career track record across multiple HR business partnership roles
Experience or demonstrated capability leading other professionals
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
 

PREFERRED

Knowledge of HR practices, processes and laws/regulations in multiple countries, specifically UAE, India & China
Experience using PeopleSoft, Oracle, and Salesforce
Experience in oilfield and/or manufacturing environment
Experience in a rapidly changing, transformative environment
 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
Able to work effectively under pressure with multiple priorities and with tight deadlines, making efficient use of time management

Strong leadership, mentoring and coaching skills

Supply Chain Field Operations Manager Middle East, Tesla, Dubai, UAE

What to Expect
The Supply Chain Field Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring all supply chain-related activities within their coverage area are working efficiently and as-intended. This includes fast and predictable parts flow from distribution centers as well as accurate parts orders and high inventory accuracy from the field. The Supply Chain Field Operations Manager will be responsible for performing onsite audits to ensure accuracy within Tesla Motors' proprietary service center management system and its users. This position will require traveling to each service center within the designated region.

What You’ll Do
· Promotes and drives continuous improvement of supply chain operations. · Develop and maintain and communication channels between Supply Chain and Service teams for escalations, system updates, distribution network changes, etc. · Take in, filter, and funnel field supply chain feedback to necessary supply chain teams · Liaise with Parts Distribution Centers/Channel Planning to maintain critical parts stock levels. · Reduce shipping expenses, rush orders, and off-road cars due to parts shortages. · Ability to develop and manage execution of regional and global projects with many stakeholders · Organize full-scale physical inventory & periodic cycle count at the service center level. · Perform random audits to ensure parts inventory accuracy and availability.

What You’ll Bring
· Minimum 3-5 years automotive field experience. · 4 year degree in a related field preferred or the equivalent in relevant experience plus evidence of exceptional ability. · Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point). · Hands-on experience developing and/or delivering training materials. · Demonstrated excellent communication skills, including ability to express well-reasoned, independent thought. Natural ability to speak and write effectively at all organizational levels. · Demonstrated ability to be a resilient change agent capable of leading organization through paradigm shifts. · Strong multitasking project skills with the ability to adapt to change in scope, time line, or focus without sacrificing execution

Job Purpose
Our Quality Engineering Portfolio leads form part of the portfolio leadership team and report to the Portfolio VP, while working closely with the Quality Engineering Chapter Head to ensure alignment to Chapter and departmental maturity goals. They are renowned leaders who have strong and effective senior stakeholder management skills, along with deep knowledge of many disciplines and how best to apply them to our wide range of systems. They effectively lead QE at a Portfolio level, managing QE budget to ensure the right support and growth is in place, shaping the business and technical direction of QE to support business initiatives, while championing adherence to quality standards.
Provide an end to end Quality Engineering service across all business portfolios and IT agile release trains to deliver flawless applications across the Emirates Group. Lead the strategic planning, development and implementation of quality engineering products, practices and processes across the Emirates Group in accordance with quality standards and best practice guidelines. Ensure adoption of modern delivery practises for quality products and services built using world class engineering practices.
Job Outline:
- Build, support and maintain mission critical quality engineering products and platforms, including Enterprise Test Data Management (EDTM) for IT and business customers (including Emirates Aviation College).
- Establish the mission and purpose for quality engineers in the solution domain along with the right technologies, engineering practices and metrics relevant for the quality engineering solution domain.
- Accountable for software quality engineering within Group IT (1000+ systems). This includes three distinct functions being Functional (Test Practice & Automation), Non-Functional (Performance Engineering) and Test Data Platforms.
- Design the strategy and drive the adoption of test automation across the organisation. The role holder is the Product Owner for test automation tools and platforms.
- Continuously reduce business and customer impact due to application issues by ensuring quality standards implementation, performing root cause analysis, publishing results. Develop future prevention plan for the solution domain with focus on proactive technology debt remediation.
- Lead and manage effective long-term relationships with quality engineering suppliers. Ensure that solution providers work as extensions of our engineering teams. Drive adoption of global technology centres of excellence while adhering to scaled agile delivery framework.
- Build quality engineering teams and enable the teams to flourish and maintain a high level of engagement and productivity whilst ensuring that agile concepts and principles are followed and respected. Eliminate non-value adding work to drive efficiency and productivity across teams.
- Lead, coach, and mentor teams of high performing quality engineers, providing servant leadership and continuous feedback whilst facilitating professional development across all areas of quality engineering.
- Build productive relationships with Architecture, Delivery, Product Management, DevOps, Software Engineering and other stakeholders to enable collaboration at scale and effective resolution of any impediments encountered by the delivery teams.
- Provide technical advice to the quality engineers, as well as to senior management teams, peers and other stakeholders, in order to continually improve processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications :
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or relevant experience
Experience :
15+ yrs in quality engineering roles involving the building of complex, scalable and large software solutions in digital, data or enterprise domain.
- 5+ years of leading quality engineering teams in a large solution domain and with experience in digital transformations
- Solid experience in development of quality test frameworks and quality practices in support of large scale agile delivery.
- 3+ years of Scaled Agile methodology experience, with modern flexible working practices.
Knowledge/Skills
- Strong understanding how all elements of the software ecosystem work together and can develop a Quality Engineering strategy to support the overall product development strategy.
- Demonstrable experience of leading large Software Quality Engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Excellent grasp of latest testing trends and technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of automation methodologies, processes, and tools with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
- Demonstrable skills in designing and developing UI & API automation frameworks with enterprise and open-source tools.

Job Summary. 
This Corporate Tax Manager position serves as the lead tax resource for the Middle East & India region, with direct and indirect tax advisory, financial reporting and tax compliance as key functions.  The Corporate Tax Manager will be responsible for providing the necessary tax planning and advisory to support the region and tax compliance/provision support for the local statutory financials and US reporting.  The job will encompass approximately 60% planning and 40% tax/financial reporting compliance. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tax advisory and planning functions
Review of new contracts, projects and customer/supplier agreements and provide international tax advice on the recommended structure
Undertake permanent establishment reviews and provides recommendations to reduce business risk
Assists with international restructuring planning and implementation
Assist with due diligence on any corporate acquisitions
Advise on intercompany transfer pricing policies and rates
Introduce and implement Corporate Income Tax into the UAE
Introduce and implement Value Added Tax in various ME regions
Keep abreast of new legislation and develop best practices
Local financial and US GAAP reporting functions:
Compute and advise on tax accounting for income and deferred taxes within operating jurisdictions
Identify, evaluate, monitor, and record corporate income tax and FAS 5 uncertainties
Tax Compliance functions:
Ensure that companies in various locations are compliant with various tax filings within operating jurisdictions
Coordinate and manage 3rd party tax engagements, timelines, fees, tax filings and information requests with 3rd party service providers
Manage permanent establishment tax filings
Manage external tax audits within the operational jurisdictions
Reviews transfer pricing documentation, disclosure forms, local transfer pricing files, with focus on intercompany transactions
Manage Middle East VAT filing deadlines and review VAT returns. 
Assist with Middle East VAT queries
Review Middle East WHT returns and advise on WHT rates for transactions
Manage and review economic substance reports
Develop and implement internal controls on various tax aspects
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has 1 direct supervisory responsibility, who is primarily focused on VAT, local transfer pricing reporting and economic substance reports.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED: 
(Education/No. of Years of Experience)
Essential: 

6+ years in Big 4  
Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ICAS, CPA)
Extensive Corporate Tax experience
Tax qualification
US GAAP knowledge
Computer literacy (including excellent command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook & Powerpoint)
Desirable: 

4+ years of Oil and Gas industry experience
Understanding of other taxes advantageous

About the Role:

The jobholder will be responsible to drive Business Process Reviews with an objective to improve the End to End process, design new processes and define relevant enablers in coordination with relevant business units within GMG.

Job Accountabilities:

1) On-Going Businesses:

Time-motion analysis.
Identifying the gaps in the process by conducting ‘Process Adherence’ compliance.
Communicate findings and reports to the concerned stake holders.
Providing solutions to address the identified gaps and improve overall process efficiency and effectiveness
Able to visualize and help the business in effective implementation of automation requirements within the scope of a process.
Updating trackers/ master sheets to track the progress of a project.
Developing, Implementing and Monitoring process KPI Reports.
Responding to daily queries from the program teams.
Process mapping (using MS Visio/ Lucid chart) and SOP documentation expertise required.
2) New/ Upcoming Businesses:

‘Design, Implement and Manage’ new business/functions work flows using the DFSS approach.
Ability to lead the new projects single handedly with 100% visibility to all key stakeholders at all times.
3) Fit for an individual contributor role which will also involve guiding/ managing team on their respective projects. Project timelines and delivery quality will be main KPI. Ability to work in a matrix management environment.

4) Project Management skills – Lead the project End to End with complete ownership. Ensure all stakeholders are engaged throughout the project execution until final sign off.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ MBA from premium institutes preferred.
A minimum of 5 -7 years of relevant experience in Business Process Improvement areas.
Six Sigma Green/ black belt certified candidates preferred.
Must have a working knowledge of TQM, KAIZEN, KANBAN, 5S Methodology, FMEA, CAPA, RCA and other quality tools.
Must have Business Process Re-engineering experience in Retail, Pharma and/ or FMCG sectors
Prefer hands-on process optimization experience in relevant Business Units / functions
Implementation of Automation / RPA techniques
