DESCRIPTION

As a strategy consultant at Gupta Strategists, you will work with a small team (4 others) on large projects in healthcare in the Middle East. As an all-round strategy consultant you will work on projects with diverse, complex topics. Projects vary, for example, from developing new strategies and implementing innovative ideas to conducting extensive (market) analyses or supervising mergers. You never work solo on a project, always with one or more colleagues.

Project work entails in-depth content development, analyzing data, designing strategies, frameworks and planning and sometimes also executing implementation. Besides project work you are also responsible for the development of our business in the Middle East. Meaning you engage with potential clients, meet and discuss their needs, and develop client propositions.

You will work with your project team, mostly at the client's office during their work hours and at home or at a location of your choice.

Who are you?

You have a completed Master's degree or PhD and have extensive experience as a strategy consultant, preferably in healthcare. You are interested in growing Gupta's presence in the Middle East over the next years. Besides that, you fit in at Gupta if you are entrepreneurial, curious, result-oriented and analytical. You enjoy exploring statistics and data, are capable of understanding connections and are able to structure information. On top of that, you have excellent communication skills.

All of our clients have something to do with healthcare. For example hospitals, health insurers, pharmaceutical companies, elderly care organizations, pharmacists, mental healthcare providers, policymakers, regulators, investors, suppliers and sector organizations. It is therefore a must that you are interested in the healthcare sector, although experience or background in healthcare is not required.

Responsibilities:

Responsible to find out new clients in Qatar and managing relationships with existing clients.
Frequently get in touch with the team in HQ which is located in Dubai and report them on a daily basis
Arrange meetings with clients and introduce our company and its products
Able to communicate and coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics team, whenever required.
Prepare relevant documents such as invoices, packing lists, etc.
Address the inquiries and concerns of the client and inform the same to Dubai team when it is related to technical clarification.
Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems
Running outbound campaigns (phone calls, emails, etc.) to create sales opportunities
Maintaining client activities in the database
Responsible to run and manage Qatar Office.
Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up
Managing virtual and in-person sales meetings

Skills required

Previous proven experience in operations and business developments
Previous experience in O & G industry
Basis knowledge of logistics
Able to communicate in English and Hindi
A minimum of 2-3 years of Qatar experience is required.
Willing to travel and arrange meetings with clients inside Qatar

Job Overview:

Responsible for the implementation of safety initiatives at worksites, monitoring compliance with McDermott safe working practices. Timely reporting deliverables including Incident notifications whilst maintaining an 80% presence at the worksite.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Have a sound knowledge of statutory HSES regulations and marine industry standards and ensure their correct implementation in line with company HSES system.
Ensure that HSES communications received from HSES Managers or Operations Manager, are brought to the attention of all employees through TBT. Interface with onsite client representative as required
Coordinate on all HSES issues between Operations Safety committee team, management committee and line management.
Regularly inspect the work areas to identify unsafe acts and conditions and advise line management of those that cannot be immediately corrected.
Coordinate and assist with incident notifications and investigations including compilation and submittal of completed reports in a timely manner.
Support Sr. HSES Advisor in yard readiness for operations
Engage with supervision and ensure housekeeping is sustained to best industrial practices
Execution of HSES Activity plan as per established schedules/frequency
Initiate, coordinate and record emergency drills, ensure a post drill review/ de-brief is conducted and make recommendations for the improvement of their effectiveness.
Attend to environmental issues at the work location and liaise as necessary with Sr. HSES Advisor
Audit issued PTW's, HIT and TRA's at worksite
Maintain a systematic archiving & filing system for required documented information

Essential Qualifications and Education:

Minimum 5 years HSES experience
NESBOSH certification
Must have excellent interpersonal skills
Offshore experience required
