JOB PURPOSE

Improve the EHS of employees by facilitating, monitoring, and ensuring the actual implementation of the
EHS Management System on the shop floor and provide the guidance where needed.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

To provide EHS advice/guidance/coaching to the plant team using different approaches (direct and support them to implement and comply with all EHS requirements in a sustainable manner.
To assist the EHS Manager in the implementation, development and monitoring of the EHS policies and procedures.
Complete regular checks and inspections and prepare related reports.
Conducts behavioral safety observations and provide support to develop site BS program.
Conduct periodical checks on the plant clinic and prepare evaluation and feedback reports.
Co-ordinate the implementation or conduct EHS trainings as identified by EHS manager.
Continually develops effective communication media for communication at all levels of the business through weekly bulletin and notice boards.
Check readiness of fire alarm firefighting systems and take immediate necessary actions in case of any partial or complete malfunctions.
Distribute, check and arrange for the periodical fire extinguishers inspection and maintenance.
Monitor compliance on the shop floor of the PPEs, KSBs, and SWPs and ensure addressing the immediate required actions to correct situation and escalate when/if needed.
Update safety logs/registers and file and control of all safety records.
Check and update all EHS communication means (monitors, NM boards, signs, boards…etc.) and report/fix any in-correct situation (damage, outdate, missing form….etc.).
Active participation in the risk assessments, accident investigations, communication, planning,
Reward and Recognition (R&R), Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP), monitoring, inspections and audits as assigned by the EHS MS or the EHS Manager.
Follow up with all plant departments to ensure EHS reports are done in due time.
Follow up with all plant departments on the completion of Corrective/Preventive Actions (C/PA) completion and provide support where necessary.
Recognize and embrace positive behaviors and practices.
Carry out monthly audits on Accident Investigation, P.G.I to ensure FLM receive feedback to ensure standards maintained by FLM team to drive continuous improvement.
Any other actions or responsibilities assigned by the direct manager that is in line and supports the job main purpose.
Immediate corrective actions even stopping/ceasing any activity or closing any area in case of violations (non-conformance or non-compliance) or detecting any concerns that may affect O&S of the people.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/COMPENTENCIES REQUIRED

Knowledge / Skill

BA/BS required, in the area of

Occupational Safety Health, Supply Chain or related quantitative discipline
Recognized EHS qualification; preferably NEBOSH IGC3.
Excellent command of both Arabic and English languages and literacy in computer usage.
Proficiency level in MS-office with strength in Excel,
PowerPoint, Visio and project manager.
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience
Experience and knowledge of EHS applicable legislations.

Competencies

Strong people management skills.
Problem solving and strong analytical thinking (root-cause analysis, setting action plans…etc.).
Self-starter able to work independently with a high degree of business savvy.
Excellent Planning & Organizing skills.
Excellent communication and presenting skills and the ability to engage with and influence the behaviour of others internally and externally without direct reporting relationship.
Ability to coach and support others to ensure requirements understood/met.

Day to Day Operations

Government Relations Services:

Manage and grow executive client relationship for a strategic account or portfolio of accounts.

Supports client in the development of tactical and strategic IT plans and budgets.

Detects trends and opportunities to deliver value to both the client and Injazat.

Identify opportunities for growth.

Identify areas to apply cost efficiency and optimization.

Promotes Customer/client satisfaction through efficient, effective delivery of services proactively managing issues that could impact service delivery.

Drives Service Delivery Management partnership that put Injazat in a trusted advisor status with customers and vendors.

Constantly assess customer feedback and make necessary improvements

Ensures all contracted services are delivered to the approved service model for service support

Acts as focal point of contact for all operational issues for the client and Injazat delivery organizations and between Account Manager and Capability Management

Ensures delivery of service excellence through monitoring and reporting of performance and acting quickly to address issues as they arise

Manages onsite operational resources ensuring responsibilities are understood

Defines and manage local rosters and shifts to ensure service hours coverage, escalating resourcing issues with the Capability Management

Ensures that the process is adhered to in accordance to documented procedures

Identifies and drives optimization while managing scope, cost of delivery and resources.

Identify issues and risks that may impact a successful delivery of contracted services.

Provide guidance on process improvement and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility

Drive and manage Continuous service improvement program across managed clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Management or a related discipline

ITIL Expert certified

Minimum Experience:

(5-7) years relevant experience in IT Service Management role or similar working in a local or international IT Outsourcing service provider environment. Solid understanding of IT service best practice.

Job Overview:

Technical understanding, analyzing information, developing standards & procedures, report writing, and problem solving.

Interface with other disciplines and functions, as required.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities of the Field Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ensuring that all work carried out safely in compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
Actively participate in project Job Safety Analysis, if applicable, and communicate and implement these.
Recommend changes in the technical details, drawings, where these may result in safer and better installation procedures
Reviewing and retaining project drawings and documents, report to the Project Manager discrepancies, errors and omission with respect to the information required to perform the work.
Ensure the work is within the capabilities of the proposed equipment.
Maintaining project files in the office and in the field in accordance with project requirements.
Preparing Installation Procedure(s) in accordance with the Level II Procedure and with due regard for safety. The scope of procedures required will be defined by the Operations Engineer. As a minimum, the procedure(s) will outline the following:
Methods, techniques and practices to be used to perform to work.
The sequence(s) to be used to perform the work.
Installation aids, temporary works and consumables required to perform the work.
Developing (or reviewing those provided by others) loadout and seafastening plans for the transportation of materials / structures to the offshore site that facilitate safe and timely installation.
Prepare material lists for construction materials and project consumables, and liaise with the Project Coordinator for procurement of requirements.
Issuing “Loadout Lists” applicable to the work in accordance with the recommended practice.
Coordinate with Marine, E & M and Diving departments to ensure that necessary equipment and personnel are available and readied for the project.
Witnessing / inspecting pre-rigging, loadouts, and seafastening and acknowledging the receipt of fabricated structures, line pipe and other materials to be installed offshore. Developing checklists and inspecting loadouts in accordance with Level II Procedures.
Coordinate with the Production Engineers and verify loadouts of fabricated items required for the project.
Liaise with the customer representative and various subcontractor representatives at the offshore site and with the Operation Engineer.
Ensuring the contract / project related documentation is maintained and / or transmitted to the Customer at the site:
Review Daily Progress Reports.
Force Account Sheets and / or Change Order Notification in accordance with contract specifications.
As-Built Documentation (sketches, records, videos) in accordance with approved procedures.
Monitoring the progress of the work and site conditions and advising the Operations Engineer of any development that may result in changes to the project schedule and / or execution sequence.
Advising the Barge Superintendent and / or Barge staff including Subcontractors (such as Surveyor, ROV, NDT, Pile Monitoring personnel) regarding the planning and execution of the work and the contractual and technical aspects of the work. Issuing field sketches, data sheets and checklists in the field where required for information purposes for the Barge staff.
Participate in the resolution of any technical problems arising during offshore installation and assist in the formulation of corrective action requirement.
Planning and supervising the execution of pipeline pigging and testing operations in accordance with approved project procedures. Responsibilities will include:
Assisting with procurement of all consumables.
Marshalling of all equipment.
Pigging and testing calculations and procedure preparation.
Supervising and documenting all operations and operating instrumentation.
Completing pigging and testing reports.
Preparing Post-Job Reports in accordance with the Level II Procedures.
Preparing / collating as-built documentation and records in accordance with the contract requirements and the approved project indices.
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Marine Operations Manager and / or Operations Engineers.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Civil/ Naval)
1-3 years experience in Oil and Gas/ EPC Project.

We are working with a key client in Dubai who are multinational engineering organisation that supply their services to the global marketplace.

We are looking at identifying a Project Manager to support their current projects, overseeing plant management and offering support and strategic solutions to the project team.

Main Responsibilities:

Directs and Manages projects from beginning to end.

Act as Project focal point to the Client.

Prepares and implements Project Execution Plan (PEP).

Responsible to manage Project Scope, Budget, Resources, Schedule, Quality. Cash flow and Stakeholders.

Plan and schedule workload and resources in-line with the project schedule.

Organize Project meetings (internal and external) and review workshops.
