Project Coordinator, Penspen, Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are looking for PMC/Project Coordinator to be a part of our Project Management team based in Abu Dhabi. 

Main Purpose of Role:

Coordination of all PMC project activities within Penspen Middle East region, support project team for overall PMC staff administration management and interface. The role may also provide secretarial services to one or more individuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to Project team
  • Remain focal point for PMC Staff with their queries
  • Follow up and timely submission of Timesheet by PMC staff
  • Coordinate between PMC staff Leave request and PM approval
  • Initiate for LOA with client and follow up for LOA approval
  • Submission and follow up of ADNOC ID application of PMC staff
  • CICPA Pass Follow up
  • Compliance with quality, safety, and company policies of Penspen
  • Following of Penspen Compliance policies.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, the role may also be required to get involved in other Project team related projects and activities.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in oil & gas industry with middle east region experience
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team, with high attention to detail.
  • Used to working under pressure and to tight, multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing written information and to communicate in a professional manner and in a pressurised environment.
  • Strong relationship and communication skills.
  • Reliable and responsible with highly organised and efficient administrative skills.
  • Client focused, resilient and self-motivated.
  • Strong background in the use of Word, Excel and PDF to prepare professional documents..

We are currently seeking a Principal Process Engineer for our Saudi Arabia joint venture.

The Principal Process Engineer is responsible in providing technical and people leadership for the Process team for our Ma’aden joint venture working in Saudi Arabia.

What will you do?

  • Manage and guide team in technical studies, plant support, MOC & CAPEX projects, RCA & Process safety activities.

  • Lead process team for Process and Process safety improvement.

  • Conduct Risk assessment, PHR and HAZOP studies for the existing process or any additional new processes.

  • Identify the bottleneck in the existing asset to achieve business goals on long term basis and propose required modification to achieve the target.

  • Continually identify the bad actors and performance issues in plant and propose improved technology & equipment to enhance the KPI.

  • Lead and guide team to improve process control of the plant by suggesting automation philosophy through basic control scheme improvement and implementation of advance process control or multivariable controls.  

  • Suggest and establish performance enhancement system utilizing best industry practice to continuously improve department performance.

  • Conduct benchmarking study with other phosphate plant and suggest bringing the company performance to 1st quartile of the industry.

  • Lead process team to enhancing product grade, recovery efficiency, improving utility, chemical and additive specific consumption.

  •  Lead process team for implementation of plant modification for profit improvement, cost saving and to meet business plan.

  •  Lead process team for conducting various plant trials for better chemical selection and cost optimization.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Chemical or related Engineering discipline. Masters in Engineering, Process Control or Process Technology preferred.

  • 12+ years experience with strong Phosphate Industry knowledge specifically of Plant Processes around Beneficiation, Phosphoric Acid, Sulfuric Acid, Granulation, and Ammonia.

  • Experience in process troubleshooting, optimization, capex project implementation, debottlenecking study, new product development & Process safety.

  • 5+ years proven strong leadership experience.

  • Strong Computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Strong working knowledge of relevant engineering principles and practices in chemical, mining or relevant in engineering and maintenance fields required

  • Excellent relationship building skills (internal and external) required

  • Strong work ethic and be able to adhere to company, policies, and standard business etiquette required

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

  • Self-starter with minimal supervision for routine activities required

  • Ability to work with diverse populations, and foster a cooperative team environment required

  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual is preferred

  • Willingness to be away from home for lengthy period required

  • Willingness to work internationally

  • Willingness to work in remote location

  • Must have valid passport, capable of meeting medical and background requirements to obtain Visa for Saudi Arabia.

Job Purpose
Assistant Company Secretary will be responsible for providing support to the Corporate Governance Manger as well as Company Secretary to ensure all of alfanar’s secretariat and corporate governance functions are completed effectively and efficiently. The position will have exposure to all parts of the business, work directly with alfanar’s Executive Management Team and Board and be central to alfanar’s governance arrangements. 

Functional Responsibilities
•    Support the company secretary in developing and deploying activities related to corporate governance.
•    Attending meetings of the Board and its sub-committees and taking minutes on behalf of the Company secretary may be required. 
•    Ensuring the company secretary’s demanding workload is appropriately prioritized and all deadlines are met.
•    Working with the executive committees’ secretaries to ensure that all relevant scheduling activities are carried out, including organizing all aspects of Board and other meetings and ensuring all involved are aware of upcoming commitments and responsibilities. 
•    Collating, reviewing and preparing a range of papers and correspondence, proactively identifying and distilling pertinent issues where appropriate. 
•    Communicating directly, and on behalf of the company secretary, with Board members, divisional company secretaries and others.
•    Managing projects, researching and preparing appropriate reports or presentations independently. 
•    Appropriately handling correspondence and documentation for the Secretariat, including Board reports and documentation of a sensitive or confidential nature using a high degree of discretion. 
•    Set up and manage agreed communication system and protocols to ensure consistent standards in all communications from the Secretariat. 

Support and assist company secretary in performing the below activities:
•    Participate in the companies/Branch’s establishment, registration, and closing process.
•    Maintain group legal structure.
•    Provide and run DMS for group legal formalities (Article of associations, CRs and others) together with its updates.
•    Contribute to and assess the process of directors' appointment.
•    Challenge and validate directors as well as CEO authorities.
•    Notify BoD as well as shareholders on the implementation progress of resolutions.
•    Conduct a regular review to ensure effective compliance with BoD manuals, AOA and underlined policies and procedures.
•    Report to the BoD on major deviation of the above.
•    Conduct regular review on BUs structure and recommend on establishment, mergers or close of Bus.
•    Maintaining the company statutory registers as per applicable laws:
o    Register of BoD members.
o    Register of transfers.
o    BoD report.
o    Change of a director’s registered details.

Responsibilities

The CORE Assistant Manager supervises the internal hub of the hotel combining Reservations and PBX functions as well as assisting directly the CORE Manager. This one stop shop is designed to ensure a seamless guest experience. CORE Assistant Manager must also be comfortable processing reports in different systems like HotSoS, MICROS and Excel. Liaising with hotel partners as well as administrative tasks such as performance reviews for the team, payroll submission as well as commission payment and follow up.

This role will be responsible for ensuring availability and rates are in parity through all booking channels and will contribute towards all areas of the department business. We are looking for an experienced professional with previous and relevant supervisory experience.

This position will also be responsible for:

Assisting on selling the hotel and providing information to prospective guests, capture sales from the incoming calls and coordinate details of each reservation
Ensure our guests are well looked after from the start. Involved in enhancing the pre-arrival experience as well as contributing to a seamless stay throughout.
As the first and last impression of the Hotel, this high profile department carries a special responsibility.
As the voice of the hotel, ensures that all communication channels operate flawlessly, including the hotel’s phone and communications systems.
Responsible for providing general information about the hotel and assisting callers as well as responding to emergencies by connecting the appropriate individuals by phone or other communications channels.
Oversees all incoming guests' requests
Oversee the entire sequence of service ensuring guest accommodations, calls and food and beverage orders and housekeeping requests are correctly processed and carried out within the stated delivery time according to Four Seasons Standards.
Assist guests in all inquiries in connection with high-speed Internet service, telephone and facsimile services, hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
“Clean” all systems of old reservations and updates new reservations in Opera system
Participating in scheduling and supervising CORE team
Take charge of the department in the absence of the Reservations Manager and handle special projects delegated by the CORE Manager
Provide hands-on training for staff on a continuous basis ensuring their knowledge of hotel services, features, and amenities
Review/analyse call volume report and abandonment rate; Take action as appropriate
Supervise checking of arrival and ensure that reservations are correct and handled proficiently
Ensure all CORE team always promotes FS App awareness and usage to all guests
Ensure all CORE team and department heads are fully aware of the FS Char functionality, promotes a strong Chat user culture in the entire hotel.
Actively train the CORE team on Four Seasons benchmark and standards specially Aspire test calls.
Participating and facilitating training and assist in developing the CORE agents and supervisors.
Conduct daily departmentally briefing.  
Preferred Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for individuals who have computer knowledge with good communication skills. Previous experience of 2-3 years preferred in Reservations in a luxury environment. Applicants are required to have high analytical and organizational skills.  Speaking, writing and reading English is required. attitude and willing to learn is a must. Has passion for quality, leadership skills and result-oriented personality.
The ideal candidate has great interpersonal skills, and s/he is guest-oriented. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work different shifts and some weekends.

CTM Customer Support, Ericsson, Riyadh, KSA

About this opportunity

We are now looking for a CTM Customer Support that will provide technical service and support to our customers. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve problems to stabilize and optimize customer networks. You will configure and integrate different nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks.

The Support Engineer typically interacts with customer technical staff, operation managers, service engineers and other groups within the Service Delivery organization. You may also interact with groups in sales, R&D, 3rd party suppliers and local authorities.

As there are no distinct borders between the areas, you will need to be flexible and master more than one area. You are expected to travel internationally and work in different cultural environments. The technical development is rapid, and you are responsible for continuously keeping your competence and skills up to date.

Working as a support engineer will require a broad knowledge within telecom and Datacom, covering both hardware, software and network knowledge. You will work, collaborate, and communicate in an international environment, both with colleagues internally as well as customers and suppliers to Ericsson. The role more than often requires you to take on big responsibility and it is important that you can work independently.

 

What you will do

  • Handle Software Update Management (SUM)
  • Mentor Remote Service Gateway (RSG)
  • Handle and resolve Customer issues, providing dedicated support
  • Deliver results & meet customer expectations, leading Software Uplift activities
  • Handle Customers and internal Stakeholders from Technical perspective, working with diverse team

Operational

  • Keep track of ongoing Customer service request and ensure that concern is being addressed with the right priority
  • Analyze and troubleshoot to handle and provide support in critical and Emergency cases when needed
  • Interface and interact with the relevant stockholders within organization and ensure the timely progress on Customer service request for Critical/ Priority cases
  • Be available to handle customer technical queries all the time and ensure timely response
  • Make constant efforts to be updated on relevant technical skills all the time
  • Take handover from Project and ensure all the technical check points are completed
  • Promote knowledge sharing
  • Review and prepare the relevant technical document i.e. RCA
  • Secure customer network information is updated and shared with the CNS team

Business Related

  • Provide technical support to SDM
  • Participate and contribute during pre-sales engagement activities for technical issues
  • Understanding of the contractual obligation for the support services delivery
  • Ensure that KPIs are met according to SLA
  • Identify potential add on sales opportunities and address to the SDM

 

You will bring

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Being fluent in Arabic an English languages
  • Min years of experience: 1-3 years in similar technical lead position
  • Min years of technical experience in Telecom: 4 years
  • Domain experience: RAN, CORE / PACKET CORE, CLOUD, IP, CHARGING
  • Negotiation & argumentation skills
