To support the teams who are powering this ecosystem we have a global Corporate division consisting of departments including Legal, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Strategy, Human Resources, Central Services and PR and Communications.

YNAP Middle East is now seeking a talented Client Relations Coordinator. You will be part of the initial stages of discussions regarding CR activity, you will be responsible to brief the relevant parties, as well as coordinating any logistics. You will be expected to be hands-on with the organising and set up of customer events; sample requests, organise logistics and props, event set-up & venue research and bookings.

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

Work alongside the ME and UK CR team Seniors and Execs to support and implement activity from the ME CR calendar plan to target key EIP individuals in strategic markets as well as create opportunities and positive experiences for our customers
Take initiative to research potential clients that the PS and CR team can strategically target and entice to shop at NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER
Providing general administrative support to the CR team
Liaise with the travel team to ensure travel and accommodation is booked accordingly to align with market visits; as well as ensuring all entertainment venues have been booked and are on the brand to represent NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER
Ensure the CR folders and CR budget are regularly updated
Support the Client Relations and Personal Shopping Manager on a weekly/ monthly basis with general admin
In order to maintain global reporting alignment, be responsible to create and distribute event round-ups, customer face-boards as necessary, and the CR reports

Essential Job Functions

Provides service delivery and support in recruitment and employment, new business, employee reassignment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training, AA/EEO, and special projects to fully leverage human capital.
Assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings.

Acts as a liaison between employees and/or managers and the organization by interpreting personnel policies and procedures and resolving employee concerns.
Processes necessary paperwork for new hires, benefits enrollment, terminations, etc to ensure timely and accurate coverage and cancellations. Works with business units to ensure receipt of information.
Enters and maintains employee information in HRIS systems to ensure that employee documentation is current.
Researches and consolidates information required for analysis of human resources operations and prepares special projects as assigned.
Provides strategic and/or operational consultation on and coordination of core human resources functions to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field preferred
Three or more years of human resources experience
Experience working with human resources principles, practices and procedures
Experience working with corporate and legal employment-related policies
Experience working with human resources information systems (HRIS)

About the Role:

An exciting role has arisen for a passionate Learning & Development Manager to join the Human Resources team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait. You will be responsible for overseeing the overall learning and development process across all departments, and to ensure the smooth and efficient coordination and delivery of learning and development activities, concentrating on core service skills training and other training activities designed for colleagues, adding value to the organization, and supporting its Vision.

Your key duties will include:

Evaluate and identify training needs.
Develop training sessions that satisfy identified operational needs and evaluate such training through detailed follow up.
Carry out effective training on a range of subjects, with a focus on Guest Service, co-facilitation of task trainer workshops, other front line colleague training activities, as required, and business unit orientations.
Regularly monitor the effectiveness of departmental training, audit and follow up departmental training records.
Ensure that proper evaluation is regularly carried out of training courses held to assist in tracking of course effectiveness.
Create customized training programs as per the business needs, including the development of leadership programs, including coaching and mentoring, to ensure the identification of high performers and the development of a strong leadership pipeline.
To oversee and support the Director of Human Resources in the performance review and individual development plans.
Adhere to process standards in the planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of training and development activities.
Support the Director of Human Resources in ensuring that Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa is meeting regional and business unit training targets and objectives.
Contribute to the preparation of the Learning and Development budget.
Conduct departmental training reviews and monitor the effectiveness of departmental training and departmental trainers and provide assistance where deemed necessary.
Maintain training records and files.
Communicate information about training events in a timely and professional manner to ensure the business is kept up to date about training and development activities.
To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the Management.

About You:

In order to be considered for this role, you must hold a recognized degree or qualification in Business, Human Resources Management, or similar discipline, and a Group Trainer qualification, or equivalent. Membership in a professional organization in training and development field, e.g. CIPD, is desirable.

You will have a minimum of 7 years hospitality experience (operational or support areas) with a minimum of 5 years in a training role.

You must be competent and experienced in the delivery of front line level colleague courses, and experienced in the co-facilitation of task trainer assessments. Experience gained in Kuwait or Gulf Region is viewed as highly desirable. Excellent personal presentation / appearance, confidence and assertiveness (problem solving) as well as fluency in English both (written and verbal) are essential for this role.

You will be IT literate and comfortable utilizing Microsoft packages. Time management skills and ability to work in a busy team environment are also required for this role.

Job Summary

This position will be responsible for supporting the implementation of a robust program to mitigate risks and automate manual processes across the company by building a close working relationships with the executive team, controllership, internal audit, compliance, and other corporate functions. This position will also lead a department of professionals to continuously monitor and report performance with KPIs and other tools required in the furtherance of risk management and internal control objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Manage the execution of all RMC led activities by the Controllership, including risk assessment; control testing; finance process KPIs; policy and procedures; policy deviations; controls automation; external audit issues; and balance sheet reviews.
Advise on the company-wide risk management, risk assessment and corporate governance programs with the Controllership.
Organize meetings to discuss RMC activities and conduct workshops to train users and roll-out new initiatives.
Communicate the RMC results periodically to the top executive management after collecting data from businesses and presenting on an online dashboard.
Interact with the CFO and Group Controller to communicate RMC results.
Prepare and present RMC annual and half-yearly reports to the CEO and Chairman.
Randomly review and assess the adequacy of business units’ control testing and account reconciliation results to provide independent assurance to the management.
Provide feedback on new or updated policies and procedures developed by the business units.
Follow-up and track remediation status of deficiencies identified during controls testing and KPIs.

Lead the designing of interfaces between SAP / Non-SAP accounting systems, central payment management system, Treasury, SWIFT network, and Banks for end-to-end integrated payments.
Execute especial internal audits and fraud investigations to provide independent report to management on the deficiencies in the control environment and recommend improvements.
Demonstrate technical proficiency in IT systems to provide guidance and advise alternate technologies, IT risk and controls, relevant standards, and historic control weaknesses in the company.
Administrate the Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) computer software called BWise that is used to manage various RMC activities

Candidate Requirements

Graduate in Accounting or Finance with professionally qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA is a must), Certificate such as CRMA, CRISC, CIA or CISA will be an added advantage.
Strong post-graduate experience of 8 years in accounting or Risk management roles.
Proven role as a manager of people, processes and projects.
Strong understanding of COSO and SOX 404 requirements on internal controls.
