Project Site HSE Supervisor - CNTG, ENOC, Dubai, UAE

Job Purpose

Experienced environment, health and safety (EHS) professional supporting the Project
Manager to deliver project objectives by providing EHS supervision for project activities. Supports the Projects and Process Safety Manager in instituting, within the department, a culture that supports the environment, health, safety and sustainability

Principal Accountabilities

2.1.Functional Framework, Systems and Tools
• Implementation of the Functional Framework: Implement approved processes, procedures, manuals, standards, guidelines and templates on assigned projects. Utilisation of Systems and Tools: Utilise and ensure the utilisation of applicable implemented functional systems and tools on assigned projects, Ensure functional databases and libraries are regularly updated with actual project data from assigned projects.

Lessons Learned: Identify lessons learned for assigned projects,
2.3.Projects
Regulatory and Statutory Compliance: Ensure permitry, regulatory and statutory requirements are implemented and complied with across the project site. Task Risk Assessments: Review method statements, task risk assessments and controls measures for high and medium risk activities.
Project Site EHS Management: Ensure development and establishment of project site monitoring, job risk profiles and medical emergency response procedures by the contractor.
Project Site Fire Safety: Ensure all fire service installations and fire escapes are properly maintained.
Protect Site Housekeeping: Ensure good housekeeping is maintained throughout the project site,
EHS Supervision: Ensure the implementation of EHS rules and safe practices and supervise the contractor's EHS team.
EHS Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of project sites, contractor's/subcontractor's workshops, machinery equipment and tools; and report all unsafe practices and unsafe conditions.
EHS Audits: Support Group EHS and any third parties in carrying out compliance reviews and/or surveillance audits.
Incident Management: Collect data and report on all incidents and high potential near misses on the project.
Incident Investigations: Participate in investigations of all EHS incidents and high potential near misses in the capacity defined by the Incident Management Process. Corrective Action Plans: Develop and manage Corrective Action Plans, Update the status in the system after proper action and closure.
ENS Performance Reviews: Implement, track and report on EHS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the project.
EHS_Repmng: Provide functional updates such as EHS statistics, incident details, etc. for developing project progress and/or management reports.
Other Tasks: Carry out any other tasks as assigned by the project manager and/or line manager.
2.4.Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and Sustainability
Instituting the Right Organisation Culture: Support the Projects and Process Safety Manager in instituting, within the department, a culture that supports the environment, health, safety and sustainability.
EHS Certifications: Support the Projects and Process Safety Manager in maintaining EHS certifications relevant to the department.
2.5,Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Latest Develo ments and New Technolo : Support the Projects and Process Safety Manager in implementation of new tools, technologies and techniques to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of functional processes and performance.
Benchmarking: Provide inputs to the Projects and Process Safety Manager to enable benchmarking of functional processes and performance against peers and industry best practices.

Additional Principal Accountabilities

Experience

Diploma and NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent and six (6) years of experience in applying the discipline skills to oil and gas projects
Understanding of a variety of the discipline's concepts, practices and procedures
Strong problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
Proficient in office productivity tools such as the MS Office suite of products and Adobe Acrobat
Intermediate English language proficiency

JOB TITLE: Dy. Manager – Contracts

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists in managing all activities related to the pre-qualification, bidding and pre-award stage of contractual, and commercial issues up to award of Contract, related to Contracts with Clients, partnering agreements with potential partners, exclusivity/tie-up arrangements with vendors/subcontractors, including, contractual terms and conditions with key potential vendors/subcontractors, risk review process including, identification, mitigation and management of contractual risks, ensure compliance with commercial procedures and that best practice is established, and promote continuous improvement to protect Company's commercial position, ensure that there are adequate commercial resources within the commercial team to meet the needs of the pre-award/bidding activities, and ensure all commercial team members have clear roles, responsibilities, accountability and established authority levels.
Assist, support and manage all activities related to contractual risk identification, risk mitigation and risk management during the pre-qualification, bidding and pre-award stage;
Participate as required in inputs for the Risk Review Committee;
Assist in managing all activities related to contractual, legal, tax, commercial and insurance issues related to company business, contracts with clients and partnering agreements during the pre-qualification, bidding and pre-award stage;
Supports in performance of studies and evaluations for streamlining Company’s operations from a commercial/contractual point of view during the pre-qualification, bidding and pre-award stage;
Assist in ensuring that due diligence on potential partners / Clients (as required) is carried out;
Assist in ensuring that appropriate guidance regarding legal diligence in new jurisdictions is communicated throughout the commercial team;
Assist in communicating and ensuring that the commercial team understands the advice provided on legal issues affecting the Company's business, during the pre-qualification, bidding and pre-award stage;
Assist in ensuring that the key contract terms and conditions are presented to the Project Management Team upon award of the Contract and ensuring that a proper handover takes place of the documentation involved with such Contract during bidding stage to the Project Contracts Team;
Assist in resolution of major deviations from Vendors to the terms and conditions of Purchase of Goods and Site Services;
Responsible in ensuring implementation and adherence to HSE and Quality System Procedures during pre-qualification, bidding and pre-award stage;
Attend/support internal and external audits as required;
Assist in development and monitoring of the relevant Commercial KPI’s;
All other duties as directed by the Senior Manager - Contracts / Manager - Contracts.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

A graduate university degree in Law, Engineering or Business Administration.
Experience in tendering, finalization, administration and management of Contracts and in finalization of various Partnership Agreements.
Have good knowledge of business development, contract law, contract management, financial management of projects, project controls, risk management principles, excellent experience reviewing, amending and negotiating insurances and bonds during pre-qualification, bidding and pre-award stage.
Have demonstrated skills in strategy formulation, negotiation, relationship building, team building, communication, coaching/mentoring.
Be competent in providing advice on contracts and able to co-ordinate, gather, analyze and understand complex information.
Have experience in International markets, (preferably in the GCC).
Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with Clients, Partners, Subcontractors and Company staff.
Possess good project management and time management skills.
Must be able to inspire and motivate people to drive the business forward and achieve Company goals.
Must have strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Can communicate proficiently and professionally in spoken and written English

What do we expect from you?

1. Commercial operations

✓ Is the market warrant for all stock, sales planning, sales orders, overall inventory, and its strategy.

✓ Is the point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders for queries regarding to stock information.

✓ Manage sales administration activities including sales order maintenance, stock allocation priorities, invoicing, consignment and returns, on range, novelties, limited editions.

✓ Actively communicates with all stakeholders to ensure stock queries are met within an agreeable delay.

✓ Follow-up with all sales / orders and never miss a transaction.

✓ Regularly meet with commercial management teams to discuss forecasts, planning, sales trend and inventory level per point-of-sales and product categories.

✓ Regularly meet with local Logistic team to improve services and timelines.

✓ Balance stock between point-of-sale as relevant aligned with the commercial strategy and needs.

✓ Alert teams on critical shortages.

✓ Work on continuous improvement to shorten lead-times, delays and pending communications.

2. Assortment management

✓ Review and adjust all point-of-sales assortment every quarter in collaboration with required stakeholders.

✓ Adapt assortment to seasonality forecast; plan, adapt and communicate accordingly to all stakeholders.

✓ Integrate assortments for the reference in Model Stock or Booster to ensure appropriate levels of stock in point-of-sales.

✓ Visit local point-of-sales at least twice per year to discuss improvement needs; far locations can be done remotely.

3. Stock management

✓ Analyze inventory level, evaluate overstock/shortage risk per touchpoint including non-sellable items, and re-balance stock to optimize sales.

✓Analyze and follow up on Novelties deliveries to respect the launch plan

✓Define and communicate KPIs through multiple reports and dashboarding

✓Ensure replenishment flows are well working, identify gaps and solve them

✓ Alert commercial teams and supply planning team on inventory situation per touchpoint.

✓ Liaise with Logistics for any execution anticipation.

✓ Liaise with the HJ/event team for operations related to events.

4. Management

✓ Is responsible for the good operations of the local Perfume distribution and the management of the local group Chemist.
