Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist the consulting team on client assignments, key tasks include market research, financial analysis, report writing, presentation, participation in internal and external meetings
• The focus will be on UAE and KSA based work, and some assignments may require travel within the region i.e. Middle East & North Africa subject to travel advisory warnings as per JLL EMEA Policy
• Preparation of client pitches, presentations and proposals
• Contribute to the successful execution of other business development and marketing initiatives as needed
• Produce clear, succinct write-ups on the Dubai market to be included within corporate research reports and consultancy assignments
• Report to the Head of Consulting as well as to the respective assignment leads on an ongoing basis

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Technical Pre-Sales Consultant- Cyber Security with a great technical background and customer facing delivery experience. The successful candidate will possess strong consulting skills and possess in-depth experience in security operations, cyber threat intelligence, and computer incident response to work with Ingram Micro services team.

What will you do?

Strong knowledge of information security principles

Convert customers /resellers inquiries into the right technical solutions
Meet with end users to better understand their requirements if necessary.
Generate Bill of Materials
Conduct demos and proof of concept in Ingram Micro’s demo center (where applicable) to present right solution to customers (reseller and/or end user) or on the customer site
Design solutions blocks in collaboration with hardware/software vendors and present the same to customers.
Arrange and conduct technical training for partners/customers
Arrange and conduct in-house technical training for Ingram Micro’s partner (where applicable) as per target assign
Develop and maintain long-term relation with partners and clients.
Develop and Deliver Cyber Security Related presentation to both technical/business audience to showcase product capabilities, ROI and value proposition.

About the Team

Careem Grocery is on a mission to reinvent the way people shop for grocery, pharmacy and retail products. As a Business development Manager for monetization, you’ll be responsible for framing and driving the monetization strategy to start with, and lead monetization as a function within Careem groceries. You will be working with stakeholders (both internal and external) to drive the monetization agenda across Careem

What you’ll do

Responsible for managing strategy and execution of Ads/monetization from brands in Careem Grocery

Define pricing strategy, set guardrails, build roadmap for monetization

Work closely with the product team to define monetization roadmap priorities

Work with commercial and other business development teams of Careem to generate more sales for monetization

Develop and maintain relationships with FMCG brands and lead the selling process for large and strategic accounts

Work with all stakeholders to drive up the ROI for the brands from the ads

Program manage internally (with product, marketing, commercial teams) to execute the deals agreed with brands

What you’ll need

We’re looking for someone with an amazing understanding of the Ads tech industry who can help us scale our monetization revenues. The ideal candidate should have a blend of both sales execution and program management skills

At least 4+ years of experience in the Ad tech industry

Business development/Sales experience on selling to brands is an added advantage

Program management experience is a plus

You are an excellent communicator with any audience – You can easily explain complex concepts to people of any level

Excellent stakeholder management - to drive ownership and ensure end-to-end execution of priorities

One of our leading Construction industry clients in the UAE is looking for an HSE Officer who will be responsible for the employee to work in safe environment.

He will oversee the health, safety and environmental effects of all the activities and identify hazards, assess risks, and implement solutions to prevent injuries or illness from occurring. Responsible for implementing HSMS.

Responsibilities

Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety.
Will correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority, although the Safety Officer may exercise emergency authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts when immediate action is required.
Maintains awareness of active and developing situations.
Ensures the Site Safety and Health Plan is prepared and implemented.
Ensures there are safety messages in each Incident Action Plan.
Liaise with the head of the unit or controlled entity, OHS Unit, and other safety personnel.
Review and analyze injury and incident reports and data Develop injury and incident prevention strategies for their area.
Monitor local area compliance with OHS policy and procedures.
Help promote OHS awareness.
Develop the Health and Safety Management Systems (HSMS) depending on the nature of the
activity and implement them.
Monitor compliance to the HSMS by conducting regular inspections and internal auditing of site
activities.
Non-compliance has to be reported to the department/project in-charge and followed-up until
rectified.
Update existing policies and procedures as required.
Good understanding of the HSE Legislation of the respective Emirate (the office or project is in) and
stay up to date.
Provide the necessary advice to the Site Manager on site health and safety issues.
Conduct periodic safety inspections in all the locations and prepare a reports for submittal and
review of the office/project in-charge.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective action.

Requirements

Qualifications

Engineering or Diploma in HSE

Occupational Safety and Health Certification

ISO Auditor Certification - Preferred.

Experience

Should have at least 7 years of experience as HSE Officer or Engineer, with minimum 3 years in the UAE

Should have experience in construction work, dealing with contractors and sub-contractors.

Should have experience in developing and implementing ISO 45001:2018.

Should have Driving License, Strong communication and training skills, document development skills, well versed with MS Word and Excel, Physically fit and sound, Fluency in English.

Arabic speaker - desirable
