The local team is composed of a diverse range of experts who lead their respective fields, including LEED APs, PQPs, MOSTADAM APs, Mostadam trainers, commissioning authorities (CxA), construction managers, MBA’s, and building physics PHD’s.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to set strategic goals for environmental activity in KSA;
  • Ensure that environmental business objectives are met efficiently and effectively;
  • Develop and implement department organisation, procedures, policies, and management procedures for environmental Services in KSA;
  • Maintain good working relationships with Setec group specialized companies to ensure effective co-ordination for environmental business in KSA;
  • Direct and oversee environmental staff in KSA to ensure that they are motivated and trained, and that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standard;
  • Anticipate the vacancies and management of the departures/replacements;
  • Capitalize the best practices and liaise with Setec entities in France for global capitalization;
  • General monitoring of environmental operations in KSA, reporting & dashboards;
  • Manage and forecast budget needs and requests for the department; and
  • Management of contracts and (if any) and sub-consultant’s agreements

HSE Roles, Responsibilities and Accountability:

  • In addition to your responsibility towards following ALPIN’s Integrated Management System, every employee at ALPIN is required to familiarize themselves with ALPIN’s Environmental Impact Assessment and contribute towards minimizing their individual environmental impact in the course of their work.
  • It is the duty of all employees to act within the legal responsibilities imposed upon them and the Company’s Quality, Environment and Health & Safety policies. All employees must familiarize themselves with the Company’s Integrated Management System’s policies and procedures

Skills and Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Biology or Science;
  • Environmental Engineering background with preferably more than 15 years of experience, with a part of that experience in the Middle East;
  • Excellent written & spoken English;
  • Written and Spoken Arabic is a plus;
  • Written and Spoken French is a plus;
  • Presentation and Communication skills;
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, with history of taking initiative to solve problems;
  • Ability to work multiple large-scale projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of follow through and communication with key stakeholders;
  • Dedication to completing projects on time and within budget;
  • Strong facilitation, team building, collaboration, and problem solving skills;
  • Highly effective communicator with clear and concise writing and presentation skills;
  • Ability to maintain organized, detailed and accurate project records;
  • High degree of professionalism with an ability to interact with others at all levels;
  • KSA Driver’s license & personal mode of transportation

Summary

Leads and demonstrates the provision of safe patient and family focused quality care. Responsible for twenty-four(24) hour management of assigned nursing unit. Assesses, plans, directs,implements, and evaluates patient care to comply with established standards in accordance with the American Nurses Association, Nursing Administration Scope and Standards of Practice and Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA).Leads and demonstrates the successful achievement of the Nursing Affairs (NA)strategic goals.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Strives for excellence on unit and promotes excellent team working and interdisciplinary relationships.
  2. Ensures that nursing and support teams work flexibly and supportively together and that the objectives for the assigned area are delivered.
  3. Leads and demonstrates achievement in decreasing the length of stay/waiting time.
  4. Evaluates patient acuity, develops and reviews criteria for work assignment and delivery care model. Ensures that there is planned and effective day-to-day skill mix and staff management. Determines and reviews staffing plans and develops a scheduling system for unit and reviews regularly as staffing, skills mix, and acuity change.
  5. Leads collaborative multidisciplinary partnerships working towards the achievement of unit and department goals.
  6. Develops evidence based nursing practice in collaboration with Assistant Head Nurse and other Nursing staff. Promotes and maintains a culture within the clinical environment, which challenges and questions practice and promotes critical thinking amongst staff.
  7. Leads and demonstrates achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators and patient satisfaction as per unit goals.
  8. Promotes resource utilization awareness and the associated financial implication. Leads and demonstrates achievement of cost efficiency on unit as per targets. Prepares annual budget and provides variance reports as required. Forecasts requirements for personnel, supplies, and equipment.
  9. Ensures ongoing individual performance appraisals are objectively completed for staff members against set criteria. Assists with action plans arising from these appraisals as necessary. 
  10. Supports the staff recruitment; encourages and promotes the retention of all staff.
  11. Assists and supports staff in the identification, development, and implementation of their role according to his/her career development plan. Plans in collaboration with the Nursing Development and Saudization Department for the training and development of Saudi nursing students and graduates.
  12. Leads and demonstrates achievement in meeting targets for Saudization and nationality mix in areas of responsibility, in consistency with NA’s strategic plan.
  13. Develops and sustains own knowledge, clinical skills, and professional awareness, and maintains a professional profile. Provides documented evidence of performance and maintenance of skills consistent with position.
  14. Demonstrates excellent personal communication and teamwork. Treats colleagues, patients, and visitors with dignity and respect at all times.
  15. Effectively manages the allocated resources including staff, supplies, and equipment.
  16. Contributes to the development and evaluation of Hospital wide policies and procedures. Assists with organizational projects as requested including participating on nursing and/or interdisciplinary committees and task forces.
  17. Establishes and maintains effective administrative processes on unit. Prepares quarterly reports and maintains records of activity and outcomes. Conducts and facilitates unit meetings and maintains minutes.
  18. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
  19. Participates in self and other’s education, training and development, as applicable.
  20. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.

Experience Required

Four (4) years of nursing experience including two (2) years of leadership experience with Master’sDegree, or six (6) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Other Requirements(Certificates)

Current Registered Nurse Licensure from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health SpecialtiesLicensure is required.

WSP Middle East are currently looking for a Commercial Manager to provide operationally sound advice and support to management in relation to a broad range of commercial and contractual tasks on WSP Middle East projects, including negotiating client and sub-consultant agreement terms, variations, claims, potential disputes and related issues affecting WSP’s projects and their financial performance.


Your new role, what's involved?

Undertake and participate in regular project reviews of projects in KSA helping to identify opportunities and risks to WSP’s financial performance.

Be actively involved in preparing strategies to manage those risks and opportunities and executing on those strategies including appropriate correspondence, record keeping, and participate in all commercial meetings and follow up.

Assist the Senior Commercial Manager in all matters relating to the financial and contractual aspects of the projects and in negotiating any final settlements on contract terms with our clients and sub-consultants and assessing and valuating of claims.

Analyze the financial accounts and monthly reporting to assess working capital risks and revenue recognition providing good judgement and advice as required.

Actively work with the working capital team to ensure disputed invoices are settled and payments are made at the earliest time

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

•    Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering, or Quantity Surveying. 

•    MRICS Chartered from is preferred.

•    Excellent communication skills verbal, written and reading both in Arabic and English.

•    Preferred to have knowledge in FIDIC and Saudi procurement law.

•    10+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar capacity in various types of Contracts and proven experience in claims and dispute resolution for major construction and engineering projects.
