Position Summary

The Medical Delegate is responsible for the ethical detailing of Nestlé Nutrition products in assigned territory by clearly communicating to medical/paramedical contacts accurate information about these products, their features and benefits and their appropriate use whenever mothers are unable or choose not to breastfeed their babies, and within guidelines as set by Nestlé Nutrition in compliance with WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk substitutes, Nestlé Instructions and local country codes; resulting in advocacy for our branded and unbranded solutions.

 

A day in the life of...

  • Promote Nestlé’s belief that Breastfeeding is Best for Babies and that Breastfeeding is recommendable over all other feeding alternatives for infants.

  • Provide reliable information on infant nutrition and infant feeding practices for medical/paramedical contacts in areas that interest or affect them in their regular practice, according to current cycle detailing objectives and materials, becoming a reference advisor on these topics.

  • Participate in the organization and running of Product Knowledge, Nutrition or related topics medical/paramedical scientific meetings including meeting sponsorship, guest lecturer invitation for his/her territory related activities.

  • Optimum territory coverage and management including prospection and insights gathering and sharing (i.e. competitive intelligence), through relevant tools/systems like the CRM 2.0.

  • Maintain HCP database in CRM and submit reports on time.

  • Propose for territory supply of communication and educational material/resources.

  • Ensure education and presence of Nestlé Infant Nutrition products/concepts/science in hospitals within territory aiming at improving availability and hospital shares.

  • Develop long-term mutually beneficial professional relationships with HCPs and relevant medical decision makers. Engage with HCP's in a variety of ways face to face, seminars, conferences and events.

  • Organization and implementation of key HCP events/seminars in territory.

  • Ensure strict adherence and compliance on all activities undertaken to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk substitutes and Nestle Instructions and local country codes.

  • Gain understanding on which HCPs, HCIs, organizations and governmental bodies is influencing education of HCPs and mothers in our area of expertise and responsibility, allowing a proper prospecting.

  • Use all acquired knowledge (skills, nutrition, own and competitor products and activities, territory dynamics etc.) to differentiate our value offers from competitors resulting in increased advocacy.

 

What will make you successful

  • An Educational Degree in Pharmaceutical Science /Medicine/Nutrition/Biology or similar field.

  • Previous experience as a Medical Representative would be desirable.

  • Knowledge of Nestlé Nutrition Products or Infant Nutrition in general would be desirable.

  • Ability to work independently and proactively.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to build engagement & commitment (via Influencing).

  • A valid UAE Driving License is essential.

  • Ability to speak Arabic fluently in essential.

As a Head of Service you will be playing a significant role in developing the service foot print of the company in Middle East and North Africa region, owning the relationship with service partners and service managers, building and further developing the service partner network in the region and leading a diverse service and filed engineering team to drive a high performance culture and provide high quality services support to our customers across the region.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Measure, analyse and initiate changes to improve customer satisfaction scores across the region and interface from Field to relevant departments in headquarters regarding quality issues, product development, system sales support and parts logistics.

  • Provides front end, First Level customer service directly and via Service Partner organization.  Provides manpower, expertise and infrastructure in field service to OEM's end users and Service Partner organization.

  • Maintain a 24/7 After Sales Support available to all customers within the Middle East and North Africa.

  • Liaison with second level organization in the clearing of warranty and good will issues and coordinate customer demands with multinational affect with the second level after sales organization and the distribution network outside of the area of responsibility and contribute to development of global and regional after sales strategy and after sales product portfolio and plan and carry out audits of Service Partners for effective on boarding process and monitor customer satisfaction and take measures to keep and develop high level of customer satisfaction through Service Partner Network.

  • Live the letter and the spirit of the RRPS Integrity code and promote compliance culture by motivating staff to act in accordance with compliance rules.

Qualification/ Experience and Competencies:

  • Extensive after sales, distributor network development or business management in the industry at a regional operations leadership profile.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with demonstrated experience in consulting, collaborating with, and influencing across all levels including the senior management both within RRPS and distributors /dealers.

  • Demonstrable leadership and coaching skills with the ability to manage a diverse service and field engineering team to drive a high performance culture in region along with roven track record in relationship management and ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, and a significant understanding of business development, sales, commercial, and customer services.

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent degree in field appropriate for the function required with a background in Engineering or Business Administration.

  • Analytical thinker with an aptitude for problem solving and experience of using structured change management process for complex change efforts within a function or business unit along with strong experience in program management, process improvement and change management initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in the management and the delivery of the functional and operational plans for all aspects of the Workforce Operations department across client site/s.
  • As one of the key contacts for Workforce Operations onsite, assist multiple functions and members of the workforce by implementing timely and effective solutions and prompt escalation and dissemination of information as/when required.
  • Support the department/s with day-to-day instances of staff shortages and/or overstaffing and escalate trends of shortage or overstaffing to the Management.
  • Communicate regularly and concisely with the Contact Center Manager and Workforce Operations team to ensure free flowing 2-way communication, escalating challenges and/or risks for prompt resolution.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all Functions, support the Workforce Services team in ensuring scheduling and rostering deadlines are met across all Functions and on-the-ground adjustments are updated in a timely manner.
  • Manage, update, and send daily, weekly, monthly ad-hoc reporting to assist the mgt in monitoring contact center, team & representative performance across client site/s, including but not limited to shrinkage, occupancy, and NPT usage.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • 2+ yrs specific exp. in workforce scheduling (roaster creation), Real Time Mgt, Reporting & Warehousing.
  • Able to balance a large-scale function operation while understanding the strategic, detail-oriented planning required to deliver it.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and engage across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks with attention to detail in a challenging, shifting-priority in a 24*7 operational environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Macros + advanced functions) and WFM software utilized by assigned projects (Verint, IEX, Aspect, etc.)
  • Ability to work effectively in a new environment.

PREFERENCES

  • Bilingual Arabic and English speaker.
  • Prior experience in Banking, financial services, or Insurance.
  • Candidate readily available in the UAE and can join immediately.
