Job Requirement
Graduate in Mechanical Engineering discipline
Strong piping constructions management skills, familiar with international piping codes and standards
Proven strong leadership quality and exceptional understanding of the other discipline like Electrical/Instrumentation, Mechanical, and Structural activities point of view
Strong construction planning skills & monitoring skills
10 years significant experienced in the field of shipyard, refinery plant, oil & gas offshore experience related to piping constructions

An experienced leader, motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills able to control multinational workforce in a dynamic situation

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Print and organize various necessary documents, summarize relevant information, and distribute information to appropriate employees. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company safety programs within assigned area of responsibility, (e.g., food, retail), as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas. Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly. Calculate figures for inventories, orders, and costs. Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs. Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels. Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee return process. Verify and track received inventory. Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports. Receive, unload, and process deliveries. Monitor PAR levels for all food items to ensure proper levels. Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.

 

Assist management in training, scheduling, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print). Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and stairs and/or service ramps. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and communicates with internal stakeholders to facilitate business requirements.
  • Acts as the telephone and email contact point for queries on managed contracts and general procurement and material management enquiries and requirements.
  • Participates in the development of the policies, standards, rules and procedures for cost-effective procurement operations for products.
  • Participates in obtaining approvals on purchasing requests, whenever required.
  • Follows up with suppliers if delivery time, delivery amount, or any other discrepancy is in question.
  • Communicates regularly with end users to ensure that they are updated on any changes or modifications to their orders.
  • Assists with the contract management activities guided by the policies, procedures and processes and carries-out any improvements required to enhance the work-flow.
  • Records all contracts and purchase orders into a relevant system in a timely and accurate manner to ensure efficient tracking and subsequent use.
  • Assists in preparing reports to the Senior Management related to purchasing activities to enhance decision making processes.

Working Hours: 8AM to 4PM (Mon to Thurs) & 8AM to 12 Noon (Friday)

Qualified Veterinary Nurses, Dubai Kennels & Cattery, Dubai, UAE

 We need qualified veterinary nurses to help keep all our moaning veterinarians whipped into shape! And of course to help us manage our lively surgical load and keep things steaming along.

 

We are happy to consider applications from QVNs who are in the beginning of their careers. We are also ideally looking for one QVN with 10+ years experience, or close to that. Both experience levels are welcome to apply.

 

You need to have an interest in and solid experience with anaesthetics (and at the very least a very healthy respect for the subject), as we take anaesthesia and patient safety very seriously, striving always to get things absolutely right. This means you will have lots of lovely electronic machines and other bits and pieces to play with, but it also means that the position is not without pressure ~ there is a high expectation for quality of work and active thinking.

We have a very technologically advanced clinic, so you will need to be ready to learn and to become proficient with all our techy toys, including, of course, computers and our practice management software, but also our PACS system for all our digital imaging (xray, ultrasound, dental xray, endoscopy), our digital hospital and anaesthetic sheets (we are pretty much entirely paperless!), and all the other various pieces of equipment we utilise every day during our diagnostic and treatment processes.

 

And our patients? Oh yes... of course... our patients! Well, at the end of the day they are the most important part of what we do and we expect you to have compassionate focus for them at all times ~ you truly must be a nurse at heart. The pet owners are relevant too (yes, we know... sigh), so excellent, confident communication skills (beginning with English-language proficiency but extending to that "x-factor" when it comes to talking to people and that built-in desire you will have to make sure important things are well understood) are all also a big part of the job requirement and of working at DKC.
