The MENA customer fulfillment team is looking for a Category Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical and cross-functional sourcing programs within MENA operations.


Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be an analytical leader with logistics procurement experience in complex, international, or technical environments. The individual needs strong communication skills and the experience to influence and support cross-functional stakeholder groups across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate takes initiative and demonstrates ownership in driving business goals, while being agile to manage change in a rapidly growing division. Key leadership traits required include the ability to influence and form strong partnerships with business leaders, and operational excellence in managing multiple complex and competing priorities simultaneously. The ideal candidate must have strong written skills and should be able to go through large set of documents with ease. The candidate must have excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, SQL, Python, Power Bi, Tableau, Quick sight.

Responsibilities include:
· Drive appropriate commercial relationships with suppliers, with a principal objective of achieving the lowest total cost of ownership that meets the business’ goals supported by a culture of continuous improvement with cost & performance benchmarks in use.
· Create and execute strategic sourcing projects that will support the teams’ development of an end-to-end sourcing plan regionally. Lead sourcing engagements and competitive bidding (RFI, RFQ, and RFP). Achieve cost savings through projects including bidding and commercial negotiations.
· Develop negotiation strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with strategic suppliers pertaining to Amazon Operations
· Set up the structure and process required for operations procurement
· Influence suppliers' processes, technology decisions, and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for both organizations by leveraging the growth of Amazon's spend.
· Negotiate and implement supplier agreements/contracts by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to reach agreement on contract terms and conditions.
· Analyze and determine cost reduction opportunities by leveraging volumes, optimizing the supplier base and reducing total cost of ownership.
· Analyze and understand data to create accurate forecasting.
· Adapt to a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
· Work with our team and business partners for the creation and continuous improvement
· Develop mechanisms and metrics to track supplier performance related to forecasting, delivery, quality, and cost
· Facilitate business reviews to discuss best practices and issues and to ultimately improve supplier performance and strengthen business partnerships across MENA and globally.
· Keys to success in this role include sound judgment and excellent written/verbal communication skills. The candidate should be able to extract insights from data and be able to communicate clearly appropriate triggers and actions


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree
  • Experience in Procurement or operations or finance or Category Management
  • In-depth understanding of best-in-class procurement practices (category management, bench marking, should-cost models, RFx)
  • Experience in project management or leading an implementation of best in class category strategies
  • Experience in Word, Excel, SQL, Power BI or Tableau or QuickSight

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in Arabic
  • MBA or Advanced degree in Engineering or other quantitative disciplines
  • CIPS qualification , CPA, CIMA
  • Demonstrated performance in prior role(s), with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • A desire to grow professionally as the role’s responsibility grows rapidly with the business.
  • Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer.
  • Experience in Python, working with large datasets
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop a high performing FP&A team (three direct reports) focused on effective business partnering by providing day-to-day direction, allocating work and coaching.
  • Contribute to the MEA Finance team success.
  • Partner with the Commercial team & enabling functions to develop and manage financial information for success of the business including specific brand support and OPEX control.
  • Shape resource allocation across the market to maximize the value creation.
  • Assist Country Controller in legal entity matters (e.g. LE profitability, Tax …).
  • Propose and implement ideas to simplify the business models.
  • Act as primary point of contact for all financial queries related to areas of responsibility, coming from both internal and external business partners (e.g. Distributors, CSO …) across all areas of the business.
  • Drive the monthly closing process and ensuring that financial data is accurately recorded in the books and records, liaising proactively with GFS.
  • Lead on and ensure the completion of the annual Budget and Projections within areas of responsibility. Review and challenge submissions from business partners and rolled-up submissions to ensure package submissions to senior management are robust.
  • Ensure high levels of financial stewardship by making business partners aware of policy and procedure requirements and supporting them in the appropriate use of finance systems (e.g. SAP-RPM).
  • Continuously seek more efficient ways to perform duties, streamline processes and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Work closely with Pricing team to understand pricing strategy for in-scope brands.
  • Participate in S&OP process, ensuring production plans and supply are aligned with latest demand assumptions.
  • Support enhancing and simplifying the Gross to Net accrual exercise.
  • Support ensuring Accounts Receivable are under control and mitigate risk of bad debts.
  • Support Internal Audits and 3rd Party BCF reviews as needed.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Experience of working in a multinational company in Finance for at least 10 years.
  • Business knowledge within the pharmaceutical industry including legal, compliance & regulatory requirements.
  • Successful leadership of multi-functional Finance team.
  • Strong commercial mindset combined with a solid accounting foundation.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to continuously drive process improvements and streamline activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, partner with senior management, and be a trusted and reliable source of information, analysis, and support.
  • An attitude which is demonstrated by a "how can I" approach to issues, resilience, commitment to goals, and persistence.
  • Strong Excel skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Thorough knowledge of SAP, SAP BI, RPM & Hyperion.

Qualifications:

  • University degree / Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is required
  • MBA or professional Finance qualification preferred

Languages:

  • Full professional proficiency in English
  • Another language (Arabic or French) is a plus

Job Description

Mandiant’s Security Transformation Services team helps organizations build an effective security operations program that minimizes organizational risk and reduces the impact of security breaches. With a focus in both on-premises and cloud-based architectures, our consultants work from initial assessment and configuration review of security controls – to detail technical recommendations that can be practically implemented to harden environments, enhance visibility and detection, and improve processes to reduce the risk of compromise. 

Mandiant seeks an Active Directory (AD) architect with a strong focus related to securing, hardening, and mitigating common weaknesses found in both on-premises AD  and cloud-based (Azure AD) infrastructure.   Candidates will possess strong technical skills and an eagerness to apply their Active Directory, network architecture, identity, security hardening, and cloud security skillsets to assist clients in improving their security posture – as well as implementing containment and remediation actions during incident response engagements. Our consultants must be comfortable working in teams to tackle challenging projects, communicate with clients, provide hands-on assistance with hardening and security best-practices, and create and present high-quality deliverables.  

What You Will Do: 

  • Lead, coordinate, and conduct both on-premises Active Directory security assessments and cloud-based security assessments focused in Microsoft Azure. 
  • Assist clients with designing and implementing architecture enhancements and security configuration modifications to defend against identified threats and attacker techniques. 
  • Provide subject-matter expertise with Active Directory identity protection best-practices, synchronization, and hybrid infrastructures.   
  • Help clients review and assess Active Directory integration and hardening with virtualization infrastructure and platforms. 
  • Create and document detailed guides and tracking documents – for clients to leverage as part of Active Directory hardening and overall infrastructure enhancements. 
  • Recommend and document specific countermeasures and mitigating controls based upon identified gaps and weaknesses. 
  • Develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences. 
  • Effectively communicate strategies and roadmap initiatives to client stakeholders including technical staff, executive leadership, and legal counsel. 
  • Work with sales and regional leadership teams to scope engagements, align resourcing, and ensure the successful execution of Mandiant consulting services. 

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of information security experience, focused within Active Directory and infrastructure environments, and additionally be able to demonstrate a strong proficiency in three or more of the following areas: 

  • Prior experience as a lead system administrator or network engineer in a large enterprise environment. 
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise security controls in Microsoft Active Directory environments – including scalable architectures and risk reduction strategies. 
  • Thorough understanding of Azure Active Directory and technologies to bridge the gap between on-premises and cloud identity stores. 
  • Identity management best practices – including identifying, managing, and securing privileged identities. 
  • Expertise with practical and scalable security controls that can contain and harden both on-premises and cloud-based environments. 
  • Understanding of enterprise networking and knowledge of network segmentation strategies. 
  • Implementation and management for both network and host-based firewall configurations. 
  • Implementation of logging configurations for network devices, endpoints (Windows / Unix), and cloud-based infrastructures.
  • PowerShell and/or Python scripting proficiency. 
  • Communication to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Strong collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. 

Additional Qualifications:  

  • Prior training and public speaking engagement experience  

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

About the Position:

UOWD is seeking applications from candidates to fill the position of Senior Credit Controller.

Reporting to the Head of Finance (HOF), the Student Finance Administrator will be responsible for all student finance related tasks ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Maintain the finance system sales ledger accounts for all students
  • Ensure invoice generation is conducted in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with University policies
  • Ensure the allocation of funds received are allocated to the correct student account with the appropriate systems and reconciliations are completed.
  • Oversee and improve the credit control activities to optimise the amount of fees collected in the most efficient and appropriate way.
  • Work with Registry to reconcile students invoiced with student enrolled to ensure accurate billing.
  • Ensure that finance records are updated to reflect the awarding of any bursaries, scholarships or discounts, including arranging any refunds if necessary
  • Work with Student Services to identify students who appear to be having financial difficulties so that appropriate advice and arrangements can be put into place.
Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 5+ years credit control experience in a large / complex organisation
  • Solid analytical and decision-making skills

Desirable:

  • Education sector experience
  • Knowledge and experience in using Oracle
Remuneration and Benefits:

The successful candidates will receive a remuneration package which includes an attractive tax free salary ranging from AED 120,000 - AED 144,000 per annum, 25 working days of paid leave per year, annual air ticket for staff and eligible dependents, private medical insurance for staff and eligible dependents, life & disability policy for staff, professional development assistance, education allowance for up to 3 eligible children and professional development.
