In a typical day as CMS MESA Delivery Manager, you would.

  • Communication Technology Group responsible for solution and services delivery for MESA subregion customers
  • Good understanding and background in Telco sector, network solution and BSS/OSS application
  • Responsible to drive, manages and controls delivery activities within MESA sub-region, which is part of a larger EMEA  geographical Region.
  • Responsible for implementing delivery capabilities (industry and portfolio) and executing delivery models for the practice/sub-region, and recommends ideas for optimization of those models.
  • Manages customer high complexity and high risk project delivery, supervising and supporting Project Management.
  • Manage customer and internal escalation, solutioning and lead to unblock issues
  • Manages project financials, ensuring no red projects.
  • Responsible for personnel and business management of the practice, including accountability for team effectiveness, people development and achieving utilization targets.
  • Manages employees and subcontracted workforce, directing and controlling activities, engagement, career development, HR related task, etc.
  • Manage delivery engaging multiple (non-direct reports) internal groups as CoE, R&D, Product Management and Support organizations.
  • Responsible for developing and managing strong customer relationships at director and intermediate levels, and is an active participant in consulting engagements in pursuit and delivery.
  • Responsible of delivery definition during bid phase. Contribute to bid phase defining delivery setup, identifying risk and defining mitigation plans, and committing to the approved offer delivery.
  • Deliver high customer experience trough project delivery.
  • Understands solution portfolio and identifies repeatable business opportunities while ensuring appropriate import/export of intellectual property.
  • Support the development of business plan(s) for the practice/sub-region, balancing client needs and global solution area focus, consistent with regularly updated client business plans.
  • Delivers orders, revenue and margin for practice engagements and as per target.
  • Through collaboration with client principal team(s), delivers consistent order performance.
  • Recommends enhancements to the offering set.
  • Identifies leading edge processes and approaches for creating and leveraging intellectual capital.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level University degree plus 7-10 years with directly related experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrates broad knowledge of corporate organization, culture, policies, products, markets and processes.
  • Is knowledgeable in: corporate standards of excellence, personnel development strategies including: operformance appraisal techniques ocoaching & mentoring.

Strategic and planning
•    Compliance to pricing strategy in line with business plan.

 Job Description

To build on the existing customer base by providing excellent customer service while increasing the company’s market in the Sub-Saharan Africa Exports region, through sound management of Country Managers, Agents/distributors and customers. Develop growth strategies and detailed sales plans for each market segment within Sub-Saharan Africa Exports. A natural leader with a forward-thinking intelligence to continuously generate profitable plans and strategies for identifying and growing sales potential.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement strategies for growth defined with clearly mapped out opportunities for the short, medium and long term.
  • Maintain close contact with the Global BDM, product and segment experts when developing the longer-term plan for the Sub-Saharan Africa Export region.
  • Analyse, present and manage strategic growth initiatives
  • Challenge current road to market and pursue fresh ideas to further cement our market dominance
  • Establish strategic alliances with OEMs and EPCs, cultivating long term commitment and co-operation for mutual benefit and added value.
  • Establish and maintain contracts across the Region appropriate for the successful and profitable management of the Region.
  • Prepare and achieve annual orders and sales budgets.
  • Prepare Sales plans and maintain a high level of forecast accuracy with monthly planning and reporting.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in the Exports Region, as well as competitor activities.
  • Establish strategic alliances with end-users where the establishment of long-term commitment and co-operation for mutual benefit and mutual added value, (versus other competitor suppliers), will enhance and sustain the business and growth ambitions over the medium term.
  • Develop Succession Plans which should be updated regularly
  • Ensure that the staff and management teams of sales organizations within your area of responsibility are properly led, managed, rewarded and motivated and developed to achieve and exceed sales, profit, margin and cash targets.
  • Review the performance of subordinates; identify training needs, drive the use of Personal Development.
  • Work closely with the Group to ensure that the principles, practices, and protocols through which, and by which, John Crane will be managed globally, are fully adopted within his area of responsibility.
  • Effectively manage relationships with internal and external customers and all other stakeholders

  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field (MBA Advantage)

Responsibilities

    • Oversee overall management, operations and functions of the Investment team.

    • Attend regular meetings with the Investment Committee on Funds’ and segregated portfolios performance and outlook.
    • Ensure the Firm is appropriately organized and staffed and to hire and terminate staff as necessary to enable it to achieve the approved strategy;
    • Communicate effectively with shareholders, employees, Government authorities, other stakeholders and the public.
    • Identify key risk areas and key performance indicators of the business and monitor these factors 
    • Abide by specific internally established control systems and authorities, to lead by personal example and encourage all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with all applicable laws and the Firm’s standards and policies.
    • Liaise and maintain a relationship with governing regulators

Requirements:

    • Min of 10 years experience in IB/Asset Management/VC/PE. 
    • Successful track record of creating and implementing investment funds.
    • Well developed knowledge of Web 3 projects is preferred or exposure to Tech projects is helpful.
    • Strong network and relationships across business, government, and technology across the GCC region.
    • Experience in managing a relationship with ADGM or DIFC is preferred.
