As a Technical Support Specialist. You will be responsible for monitoring real-time data, incident management, and data quality assurance. You will provide highest level of customer service to the customers and will challenge your ability to perform in a high paced environment.

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, resolving technical incidents and problems proactively to ensure a prompt solution.

  • Providing real-time-monitoring of drilling activities in order to complete operations in a safe and efficient manner

  • Developing your technical knowledge and expertise to provide effective problem solving.

  • Assisting in incident investigations and troubleshooting and diagnosing Realtime system issues.

What you'll do:

We are looking to hire a Director of Governance & Board Secretary to support the Chairman of our Careem Pay business with respect to the duties of the board and board committees, taking responsibility for compliance with relevant laws and our internal Corporate Governance Framework. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Record and distribute board and committee meeting minutes; 
  • Prepare for board and committee meetings by collating and distributing management information and agendas; 
  • Schedule board and committee meetings; 
  • Oversee board and committee membership ensuring conformity with our Corporate Governance Framework (including adherence to maximum terms, board and committee composition and fitness and propriety of members);
  • Understand the responsibilities of the board and committee members and hold them accountable;
  • Orient new board and committee members; and
  • Support the board and committee chairs in all aspects of their roles. 

What you'll need:

  • A bachelor degree in law, finance, accounting or business with 3 years of relevant experience; or
  • 5 years of relevant experience.

The Main Purpose of your role is to:

  • Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.
  • Determine and define project scope, objectives, roles and responsibilities.
  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks
  • Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
  • Track project and provide regular updates on project progress to key stakeholders
  • Prepare user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation.
  • Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.

  • Create P&L of operations & logistics services
  • Develop logics for rider assignment based on location's heat map
  • Drive rider performance by training them on order acceptance and other rules

Do you have some of these?

  • Minimum academic qualifications: Bachelors (preferably BBA/ Computer Science/ related field)
  • Proven experience of at least 3 year in project management or related fields. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards
  • Analytical skills are necessary in order to correctly identify risks and solve any problems which may arise throughout the project.
  • Business & commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills are also essential.
  • Should have problem-solving and analytical skills, technically savvy and has an interest in leveraging data and automations
  • Strong collaboration, time-management, influencing and prioritization skills are critical to the success of this role
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Be a good team player and an effective leader who is able to motivate their project team.
  • Excellent in English (written, oral, and presentation) - Arabic is a plus
