Senior Associate – Talent Acquisition - short term one year, Aldar, Abu Dhabi, UAE

 JOB PURPOSE

 

  • Assist in the execution of the recruitment strategy;
  • Support departments in the selection and recruitment of talent.
  • Ensure recruitment target are achieved as per the set plan.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Evaluate the recruitment P&Ps and documents used, suggest improvement plans as adequate;
  • Use the recruitment channels to headhunt potential candidates and fill vacant position;
  • Shortlist candidates resumes and present profiles to manager – L&D;
  • Liaise with the hiring managers to review the shortlisted candidates and agree on interviews;
  • Contact and coordinate with shortlisted candidate for attending interview
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with Recruiting Panel and candidates on decisions and communication
  • Attend interviews when required, assess candidates and provide accurate feedback after interviews;
  • Liaise with Employee Relations on finalizing recruitment paperwork and legal/ immigration restrictions to open file with all the employment details;
  • Prepare offer letters, follow-up with candidates, and answer queries about package and other related job offer information;
  • Prepare, record and archive all documentation related to the recruitment process, (from approved manpower plans, to departmental requests, advertisement placements, interviews conducted, acceptances and rejections of employees);
  • Constantly update and maintain online Job Portal with job openings;
  • Schedule/attend recruitments events to source candidates;
  • Headhunt qualified UAE nationals to achieve annual targets set;
  • Assist in identifying vacant positions in conjunction with the hiring manager and lock for UAE nationals;
  • Assist in identifying junior positions which can be occupied by UAE nationals, develop a plan to recruit UAE nationals on those positions in conjunction with N-1;
  • Maintain a database of qualified UAE nationals for future recruitment.
  • Manage relationship with external recruitment agencies. Communicate and follow-up with Recruiting agencies (if needed) for specific positions;

RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Min of: 6+ years of experience in a Human Resources position within a leading regional organization in the recruitment department.

YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION

Min of: N/A

FIELD OF EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in real estate or related industry is preferred
  • Previous experience in the HR division of a company with 300+ employees
  • In depth knowledge of human resource management best practices
  • Experience in recruiting is a must

TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

  • Existing relationships with key third party HR and recruiting firms
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication
 

Qualifications

 
  • Bachelors degree in business administration or equivalent is required
  • HR-related certificates (e.g., PHR, SPHR, etc.)

Job Summary

The incumbent is responsible for acquiring and growing outside IFFCO business for Middle East and Africa in line with our IFFCO S&D strategy.
The incumbent will be working with the MD directly to search and identify potential partners and responsible for overall P&L the complete business of outside IFFCO businesses.  

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify, pitch, acquire & develop new busiensses for IFFCO Sales & Distribution for Middle East and Africa.
  • Overall business performance in terms of Sales (value + volume+margin) for all Channels, Profits and ROCE.
  • Work with the partners and the team in developing strategies and tactics for profitable revenue growth within the various channels, and ensure that sales volumes are achieved according to the principals' sales plan.  
  • Guide the team in designing of business development initiatives to sell products and identify viable business opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Guide the team in identifying and developing business-building opportunities with specific customers / channels through the teams and align initiatives across categories.
  • Ensure highest standards of Customer Service to deliver category objectives 
  • Ensure full integration of Customer Plans with Brand Innovation & lead Joint Business Plan
  • Build Channel and Customer thought Leadership
  • Direct the teams to measure and review category / channel & Customer performance
  • Direct the teams to identify and monitor channel margins and customer profitability
  • Guide the team in developing and implementing (after the alignment with the partners) the Long and Mid Term Business Strategies and Annual Budget Plan.
  • Maintain awareness of the external competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards and keep abreast in exploring new business opportunities (markets, products) 
  • Perform periodical business reviews against set and agreed targets. 
  • Keeping close contact with key customers and stakeholders

  • Provide Leadership to all levels of the organization to ensure full alignment of the same to the Targets set.

Work experience requirement

  • Experience of managing the full value chain in business.   
  • Knowledge of Sales and Distribution in GCC, Middle East and Africa.

  • Posses a strong understanding of the fundamentals of illustration (visual and technical style)
  • Have proven ability to select highly relevant, usable illustrations with high quality and technique
  • Have online portfolio with illustration samples which are beautiful, clean and elegant
  • Are skilled with Adobe Illustrator (Adobe Animate is a plus)
  • Have your own equipment: Computer/Laptop (with hi-res screen preferable) and high-speed internet
