 The Company

A leading Global Manufacturing company based in Abu Dhabi are looking to recruit a Head of Treasury.

The Role

The Treasury Head is responsible for managing the development and execution of the company's financial policy, offering necessary resilience on liquidity management, maximising the EBITDA to free cash flow conversion, driving M&A and investments activities, and managing financial risks and treasury operations. The Treasury Head is also responsible for developing relationships with external financial intermediaries such as banks, ratings agencies, and funds. In addition, this role is responsible for providing oversight and managing the coordination with the Project Finance team particularly on joint activities related to capturing financial deal structuring and managing financial stakeholders.

The Treasury Head is also responsible for monitoring staff performance and providing continuous feedback and support to foster Directorate improvement efforts.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain treasury policies and procedures to oversee the organisation's treasury operations
  • Manage debt by monitoring debt levels and rates, performing financial covenant testing, and managing financial intermediaries
  • Manage and expand Banking relationship and conduct a periodic review of banking needs
  • Regularly review bank accounts and its authorised signatories list for better controls
  • Implement and maintain robust treasury management system and payment solutions for an automation of treasury operations
  • Regularly review and update bank mandate to counter parties; Coordinate with the General Counsel to update the Bank Mandate, relevant Banking Board minute extracts and KYC for the company and its authorised officials including board members
  • Regularly conduct liquidity assessment and propose suitable revisions to liquidity policy in line with changing business needs
  • Monitor cash and liquidity including daily cash position, banking transaction services, and short-term funding or investment requirements
  • Conduct a regular review of overall working needs and work closely with business teams to optimise overall working capital needs
  • Support in improving EBITDA to cash flow conversion ratio and initiate necessary workstreams to avoid any working capital blockage, review of capex plans and reducing the finance costs
  • Develop financing policy and negotiate its implementation with external stakeholders including banking/ financing partners
  • Coordinate with the Project Finance team to support the preparation and delivery of common activities and processes (e.g. stakeholder engagement)
  • Manage investors and rating agencies including monitoring and forecasting rating agency and debt investor metrics
  • Monitor the balance sheet through financial covenants/stress test and review reports for external and internal stakeholders
  • Review the Cost of Capital framework and input to an annual/adhoc review for system planning and project evaluation
  • Develop financial risk management policies, including market risk management such as interest rate risk, currency risk, commodity risk, and counterparty credit risk management in consultation with the ERM function
  • Support the development of the insurance policy in line with guidelines and input from the ERM function and ensure compliance
  • Optimize insurance premium costs and manage counter party risks with reference to insurance companies
  • Contribute to the development and execution of department strategy, policies and procedures in alignment with the functional objectives taking into account the changing needs of the business
  • Manage the activities of direct reports to ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner, in line with the section plans, and policies and procedures
  • Provide input into the preparation and consolidation of the function's budget and advise line management on risks and opportunities

The Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science or related field
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Actuarial Science or related field preferred
  • Professional Qualification in Finance or Accounting is required (e.g. CA, ACCA, CFA, FRM, ACT)
  • Minimum of 8 years of extensive experience in treasury and cash management or related role of which 2-4 years in a managerial position, preferably in a:
  • Diverse/multi-cultural business industry (obtained from medium to large organisation)
  • Multi-national company

Salary and Benefits

63,000 aed per month plus Family benefits

We are hiring an Institutional Sales Manager to be based in Dubai reporting to the Institutional Sales Director. What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?

Sales

  • Develop and identify prospective clients in MEA

  • Work with the team in arranging PM Roadshows in the region

  • Identify potential issues and opportunities with existing clients

  • Identify opportunities where FTI have a unique/distinct product offering in the market

  • Liaise and coordinate with the RFP/RFI team for new business

  • Work with new business services for client on boarding

  • Using both internal and external systems extract fund performance, portfolio and other data items to support business development opportunities

  • Liaise with Data & Performance and Marketing departments as required

  • Act as a backup for the team when required

Relationship Management

  • Develop strong, personal relationships with the Institutional Sales and Client Relationship team for CEEMEA, as well as the Institutional Client Service team and our clients

  • Ensure a good level of understanding of the company, FTI funds and products

  •  Understanding the client’s asset mix, who are the key decision makers at the client and what the important client issues are relating to the relationship

  • This position should be viewed as an expert source for the client on our products as well as institutional investing in general. 

  • This person should be able to add value in discussions with clients and consultants on a wide range of investment related topics

  • Contribute during group discussions and continually make suggestions and implement where appropriate, on how to improve how we service clients

  • Ensure monthly/quarterly reports to clients are accurate, relevant and produced and dispatched in a timely manner

  • Ability to handle challenging questions and the ability to present the material in a logical, professional and understandable manner

  • Continual effort to understand the investment advisor’s outlook and what is happening politically, economically and market specifically around the world

  • Ability to attend client meetings and contribute where appropriate

  • Have a good knowledge of various areas of the business such as compliance, risk, performance and reporting and how it affects the client service proposition to external clients

What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?

  • University degree preferred or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within Asset Management with extensive knowledge and background of Client Relationship Management and Sales

  • CFA Designation or working towards preferred

  • Experience with Institutional clients would be an advantage.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent leadership and technical skills.

  • General knowledge of the institutional investment management and mutual fund business.

  • General understanding of personal computers and general knowledge of Microsoft software

  • Ability to converse in Arabic and/or French would be an advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Professionally represent MRI and our suite of corporate software solutions 
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of MRI’s corporate solutions and the markets in which we operate
  • Achieve and exceed all monthly, quarterly, and annual fiscal targets and objectives
  • Demonstrate the software and benefits at a high level to prospects
  • Respond to Tenders, RFI’s, RFP’s & ITT’s
  • Liaise with Professional Services to produce quotations and proposals
  • Handle the contracting process and sales negotiation

  • Maintain timely and accurate sales forecasts within Salesforce

  • Regular travel with occasional overnight stays

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 3 or more years of enterprise software sales experience, with at least 4 years of strong work experience.
  • Experience in selling software and/or knowledge of the Real Estate or FM preferred as well as the ability to network within the industry.
  • Demonstrated track record in closing new business over a sustained period, exceeding sales targets with ability to demonstrate software to potential users.
  • Marketing orientation with the ability to develop strong marketing strategies to edge out the competition

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Human Capital Business Partner will be the Human Capital generalist to Kroll management for Business Units in EMEA.

This position will partner with executives in the Region to foster Kroll’s performance-based culture. The Business Partner will be involved in all Human Capital initiatives including performance management, new hire orientation, the annual review and compensation process, retention strategies, rewards and recognition programs, employee relations and various other human resources issues. The Business Partner will also act as a go to person for staff in the regional offices with respect to the aforementioned issues.  Additional responsibilities will be as follows: 

  • Interprets Human Capital and Company policies and ensures adherence to them.
  • Oversee Mid-Year and Year-End Performance Management Program for cities within Business Partners’ area of responsibility.
  • Advise leaders as to base pay and incentive compensation adjustments and reviews.
  • Assists in providing training and development programs related to Human Capital programs such as the Performance Management Program.
  • Support of Human Capital Initiatives including retention strategies and mentoring.
  • Coach senior management to become more effective leaders.
  • Responsible for orienting individual employees and conducting exit interviews.
  • Responds to and properly handles employee relations matters consistent with company policy guidelines.
  • Assist with various Human Capital projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5 years progressive human resources/human capital experience including employee relations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, human resources/human capital or related field preferred.
  • Must possess strong customer service skills.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities
  • Must be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a confidential environment essential.
