To achieve this, we are now looking for an E-Commerce Manager who will be responsible for effectively utilizing the digital space and bring consumers closer to the Arla brands, engage consumers and build loyalty and drive strong online sell out. This is a high level yet hands on role focused on leading e-commerce strategies, activations and sales. The position is based in our Sharjah office and to report to the Business Unit Manager.

 

Take charge of our E-commerce
 

The E-Commerce Manager is overall responsible the E-Comm agenda with the bricks and clicks customers and pure players reporting to the Sales Head and dotted line to the Regional eCommerce Manager in MENA. For this role, we are looking for candidates with strong account management and E-commerce experience.

The key tasks and responsibilities include :

 

  • Be responsible for leading Arla’s branded business within the assigned accounts.  Responsible for the P&L and growth plan, you set the annual plans and then execute it with the full support of the regional ecommerce team.
  • In partnership with the regional eCommerce team, develop and implement a clear eCommerce business plan for the assigned accounts.
  • Responsible for effective eCommerce sales tracking vs. targets utilizing existing tools and EPOS data to support on-going analysis within the assigned accounts
  • Work with the Omnichannel Manager to build & activate against key promotional periods, online Events, New Product Launches and category initiatives.
  • Employ data and insight to identify opportunities to grow our brands and dairy categories, including product, supply-chain and mission-based marketing initiatives. Secure new listings and deliver against key commercial KPIS.
  • Promote channel-thinking within the Arla business planning process whilst also enabling the wider UAE business on eCommerce fundamentals, insights and innovations.
  • Support the Sales Head and regional eCommerce as part of the business planning process to develop annual targets quantifying key ecommerce initiatives to deliver growth
  • Responsible for implementation of the digital shelf fundamentals and strategic eCommerce initiatives
  • Utilize learnings and best practice to support the growth of online sales in other e-tail customers, working with CCSM and Sales to create added value for our established strategic partners.
  • Represent the UAE market within the MENA eCommerce community. This is the opportunity to showcase eCommerce success and learnings, collaborate in cross-market initiatives and influence the E-Comm agenda for Arla.

 

Hands on E-Commerce experience and analytical skills
 

Your track record reflects solid experience within UAE in terms of account management and eCommerce within an FMCG environment. You have strong business acumen and exceptional drive, and you are willing to go the extra mile to deliver results. You are adept at developing strategic relationships with customers, translating into growth-driving JBPs. Your strong analytical abilities enable you to interpret and commercialize category and shopper insights, and you are able to demonstrate delivery of initiatives that have resulted in brand and/or category growth. You must have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, with the skills to collaborate and lead within a matrix team. About the Role:

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Kerry APMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa) Talent Acquisition team. This role will be based out of Dubai and will cover strategic hiring across Middle East, India Sub-continent and Africa (MISA) sub-region.

 

This role will require you to manage the end-to-end recruitment at a senior / strategic level. Working closely with senior stakeholders, your focus will be to recruit for immediate / planned / project requirements and to also build strong talent pipelines for the business; all while developing and promoting Kerry’s Employer Brand through your interactions with Candidates and the Marketplace.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of strategic hires across the MISA sub-region, from sourcing, headhunting, to screening, assessing and advising
  • You will be driving the definition of role requirements, identifying the most appropriate recruitment channels, screening / interviewing / assessing candidates, and monitoring pipelines through to negotiation and candidate acceptance
  • Implement creative recruitment strategies to meet hiring demands across the business - using various recruitment methods / channels as appropriate - job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, etc.
  • Work closely with the regional and global HR teams to assess internal talent, to review and assist with future talent moves, to participate in brainstorming and strategy sessions and to advise on offers
  • Build strategic relationships with the Senior Leadership team in MISA and the Regional Heads of Function, bringing updates, insight and market intelligence – communicate challenges / opportunities / ideas!
  • Build strong, external, strategic relationships in order to promote Kerry as an Employer of Choice – develop and maintain fruitful working relationships with our preferred external partners / vendors
  • Maintain candidate and requisition data accurately on the global ATS – SuccessFactors – to ensure BI reporting is accurate and transparent 
  • Report and measure the impact / return-on-investment of various activities including spend, agency usage, recruitment campaigns and various recruitment metrics
  • Work cross-functionally to promote our Employer Brand and always represent Kerry in the best possible way
  • Assist with strategic TA-related projects in the region (example, graduate hiring) when required

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelors’ degree
  • Minimum 8 years’ dedicated recruitment experience – applicants will need to have worked in an in-house Talent Acquisition capacity, but previous executive search / agency experience is highly beneficial
  • Experience partnering with managers, interviewers and HR throughout the recruitment process – excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Preference shown for those candidates who have recruited for manufacturing industry or similar
  • Experience in recruiting for multiple countries within Middle East, Africa and India is a requirement for the role
  • Experience dealing with global mobility cases and the recruiting of international candidates is highly desirable
  • Must have competency-based interviewing experience
  • Planful and organised in approach, agile in execution with a sense of urgency
  • Must display a passion for recruitment with an innovative, creative, collaborative attitude

  • Strong influencing skills
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure delivery of the standards and the highest levels of guest satisfaction at all times

 Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Landscape Inspector for Landscape Works project located in Dubai. The role involves both inspection and the supervision of Landscape works of the project. To ensure that the activities are being executed in accordance with the project specifications.

  • Be familiar with the project’s contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures together with any associated updates.

  • Ensure the contractor/s compliance with the standards and specifications of the contract documents.

  • Maintain records of the contractor human and equipment daily resources.

  • Undertake all site supervision and inspections when required or instructed by the Landscape Engineer, Resident Engineer (RE) or the Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).

  • Liaise and daily follow up with the contractor. This is to ensure the contractor is managing its resources, health and safety, and equipment needs on the site.

  • Prepare daily report to the RE or ARE. This includes works orders, materials delivery, and daily inspections program.

  • Follow up and implement any site instructions made by the RE and ARE.

  • Apply and implement all quality controls and quality procedures of the site.

  • Prepare any site checks needed by the RE or ARE for the Landscape works.

  • Co-ordinate and co-operate with client project manager during their site inspections in the presence of the RE or ARE.

  • Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain relevant records.

  • Assist the ARE and RE in the preparation of any correspondences in compliance with the contract documents and site requirements.

  • Where site problems are found, work with the RE or ARE to resolve them promptly.

  • Monitor the start-up, commissioning and handover of the site works. Including maintaining records of the project milestones.

  • Maintain records of materials tests performed and executed works.

  • Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor submitted plans.

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong Construction supervision experience.

  • Well experienced mainly in the Landscape, and preferred in the civil and infrastructure supervision..

  • Must have ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports etc

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Landscape Engineering/ Horticulture, similar degrees with minimum 5 years experience.
