Job Description

POSITION OBJECTIVE - This position is responsible for high volume recruitment in a fast paced environment.  The position also has to find and source candidates by conducting college visits, attending career fairs, attending network events, and by leveraging social media. - Ensure smooth on-boarding process of the new employees and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
- Recruiting and Headhunting for assigned Brands.
- Manage the sourcing, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting.
- Conduct interviews on telephone / Skype / face-to-face and the technical test.
- Responsible for achieving hiring targets and objectives.
- Conduct a background verification of the shortlisted candidates.
- Collect documents for the visa process and coordinate for the same with the PR department.
- Maintain and build relationship with    the Brand Management Team in order to understand their staffing.
- Coach the managers on hiring trends and recruitment tools.
- Develop timely, cost-effective staffing strategies to identify and attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for all job openings.
- Leverage multi-channel sourcing solutions to develop a diverse pipeline of candidates for future job openings. (e.g. cold calling, networking, job postings, employee referrals, social media, etc.)
- Contributes to the growth of the business by referring quality candidates into the hiring process.
Induction and On-boarding:
- Send the visa copy and joining invitations to the candidates.
- Coordinate with the internal travel desk for candidate’s flight and hotel bookings for all overseas candidates.
- Arrange for airport pick-up and hotel drop for the overseas recruited candidates.
- Coordinate with the IT Department for the laptop, Sim card and blackberry device of new employee, if eligible.
Operations
- Getting involved in the discussions with regards to the employee-related issues.
- Weekly updates to the respective GM’s for the Recruitment Status.
- Undertake specific projects within the HR function as required.

Senior Applications Technical Consultant, IMS Gulf, Dubai, UAE

 Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ERP (Oracle E-Business Suite + Fusion) application development along with development using different Oracle Technology products

• Works with software providers to solve user problems for other systems integrating with E-Business Suite and other technology products
• Manage reactive level support for the ERP application.
• Design and scope ERP customized systems, through an achieved understanding of business and the resulting needs of business users.
• Deliver reliable, secure, and cost-effective systems including developing high-yielding relationships with external/internal customers.
• Drive customer satisfaction by actively monitoring the end-user experience and creating action plans to address significant issues.

 Minimum Requirements for job holder:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years development with Oracle E-Business Suite ERP R12
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage information systems and deliver on commitments.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills both English and Arabic.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously.
• Capable to deliver under stress
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

We have two purpose built facilities, one in Kuwait in Farwaniya Dajeej area and the other is located in Dubai Industrial City (DIC)in Dubai, both locations are equipped with state-of-the-art food manufacturing equipment. We are in the process of building our first manufacturing facility in KSA which we are on target to open in 2022.  

We are looking for a talented and motivated Assistant Production Manager , with experience in the food manufacturing industry, who will ensure that the most effective production process is in place and according to the production plan whilst meeting the production schedule.

Specifically you will:

  • To ensure that the operation complies with all legislative and ethical standards with regard to safety, food hygiene and staff management. To drive the optimum compliance with all audits including HACCP, GMP, H&S etc to reach the highest standards
  • Guarantee that KPIs are achieved by optimum production planning; supply of raw and packaging materials is available, efficiently plan production whilst food safety, quality and people's morale are taken into consideration
  • Establish and maintain understanding of all CCP’s within plant (process and packing)
  • Support safety programs and reinforce safe behavior of manufacturing team members
  • Understands the hazards in their area of responsibility and ensures the teams safe working
  • Manage teams and ensure individual people development and guidance, ensure proper training for section team members
  • Be accountable for the product output in terms of quality, quantity, standard, time & waste management
  • Plan necessary resourced and ensure availability of material according to sales forecast
  • Demonstrates investigations as required. Where possible and implements recommended improvements
  • Ensure that finished and intermediate goods meet customer expectation/standard and deviations are controlled and managed
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department
  • Ensure that clean-as-you-go practices are maintained by plant operatives

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in production in food manufacturing environment, with minimum of 3-5 years as an Assistant Production Manager
  • Excellent communication, project management and leadership skills, respecting the company's values 
  • Prove to be strong in analytic thinking 
  • An aptitude to deal with a variety of different people within the customer & to establish relationships 
  • A desire to 'challenge positively’ - think big and take a proactive approach to the customer

Ensure to promote ‘food safety and quality culture’ by providing determining priorities, goals and objectives to ensure customer experience impact, financial and operational integrity, accountability, efficiency and effectiveness, compliance with policies, procedures, R&C regulations.

What you‘ll do

  • Store Operations Audit:
    • Own, lead and perform internal/ external controls audits and assessments of all ecommerce operational individual business units (cold chain, food safety, personal hygiene, hygienic environment) and lead efforts to mitigate identified control deficiencies
    • Issue all internal/external audit reports ensuring the reports are clear, concise, identify root causes with practical solutions, and ultimately provide value to country teams (ops, hygiene officer, R&C) and management
    • Own and drive weekly global audit meetings and/or committees, draft team presentations and audit reports in an efficient manner to ensure that Internal Audit is well-informed of key business developments that could have an impact on audit priorities and/or plans
    • Report the status of your Internal/external Audit projects to the drive quality and safety.
  • Food Safety Inspection:
    • Liaise with Dubai Municipality for inquiries and any food safety-related communication- Company representative for food safety-related meetings/ inspections from Dubai Municipality-
    • Complete training update process in Foodwatch, starting from accepting training request to updating assessment results- Keep the training material updated based on the latest information available from Dubai Municipality
    • Update the management on any notification from Dubai Municipality/ Foodwatch- Conduct food safety training and assessment as per schedule at client premises- Conduct scheduled in-house food safety training and assessment
    • File training related documents regularly such as training attendance sheets, feedback forms, question papers, and completed assessment papers- Coordinate with the sales team for any queries related to food safety training.

What you’ll need

Successful candidates will have a passionate commitment to improving the lives of people, an insane focus on excellence and customer centricity, and a strong alignment with our core values and purpose. 

  • 3-6 years of experience managing Food Safety and Quality/ Health and Safety in a large-scale retail grocery, foodservice or manufacturing environment
  • Proven knowledge of Dubai Municipality Food Safety Code/Trakhees/ISO/ Halal and HACCP
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
