JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • AFSC 2A3X2  Integrated Avionics specialist or equivalent achieve 7 skill level performing or supervising functions involving installation, repair, testing, and modification on NAV Attack, Flight Controls Radar, SMS, Comm Nav and Ecm systems  Operates avionics systems by using aircraft controls to determine operational condition. 
  • Interprets equipment operating characteristics to isolate malfunctions in systems such as attack control, radar infrared, laser, instruments, displays, flight control, communication, navigation, satellite communications, identification, defensive and offensive, EMC systems Uses technical data wiring diagrams, electronic measurement equipment, AGE special tools. 
  • Removes and installs components Performs and supervises alignment calibration and bore sight of avionics systems Uploads operational software into system components  
  • Inspects, analyzes and evaluates avionics systems Interprets inspection findings and determines adequacy of corrective actions. 
  • Reviews maintenance management publications and procedures Recommends methods to improve equipment performance and maintenance procedures. 
  • Performs OJT and instruction, supervises and accepts work performed by RAFO technicians  

Minimum Requirements

  • Knowledge & Skills

    • AFSC 2A3X2  F-16 Block 50 Integrated Avionics or equivalent achieve 7 skill level
    • performed or supervised functions involving installation, repair, testing, and modification on all F-16 Block 50 Avionics 

     

    Experience &  Education                                                                                                                                               

    • Minimum 5 years F-16 Bock 50 or equivalent minimum 8 years supporting F-16 aircraft          
    • High School diploma

Preferred Qualifications

  • The Integrated Avionics Tech performs flight line Organizational level and second line intermediate maintenance on F-16 Block 50 Avionics.  
  • Performs inspections, troubleshooting repair and maintenance of all avionics equipment and aircraft systems. 
  • Also must be qualified to work all former A, B, C shop tasks. 
  • Be involved in all repair actions in his specialty conduct an effective OJT to qualify a cadre of assigned RAFO maintenance technicians

We have an opportunity for an Advanced Cyber Security Architect Engineer for our Honeywell Connected Enterprise Teams in our office in Muscat, Oman.

This position is responsible for leading and providing on-site cyber security services associated with industrial Process Control Networks for Honeywell customers in the Oil and Gas; Hydrocarbon Processing; Power Generation; Pulp, Paper & Printing; Continuous Web Solutions; Petrochemicals; Life Sciences; and Metals, Minerals and Mining markets.

Advanced Cyber Security Architect Engineer Responsibilities

  •  Assume leadership role in assigned projects ensuring project delivered as designed, on time and within budget and to the satisfaction of the customer.
  •  Act as technical mentor and team lead to develop cyber security technical expertise and HPS business acumen.
  • Act as primary customer interface to ensure proposed solutions meet their business needs.
  • Maintain technical competency with the HPS security and networking product/systems portfolio, while maintaining expert knowledge on specific designated security/network disciplines.
  • Maintain cyber security certifications.
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry security standards such as IEC-62443, ISO27000, etc.
  • Develop sound and trusted relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate and efficient technical/engineering support.
  • Assist Sales/Business Development by defining potential Honeywell cybersecurity solutions including customer presentations and proposal development.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, questions and issues by diagnosing problems and providing the most appropriate technical solution in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Act as technical mentor and team lead as applicable to develop cyber security technical expertise and HPS business acumen amongst new & junior technical talent.
  • Act as technical Point of Contact for on-going support of high-touch, critical customers that need on-going technical relationship management.
  • Act as a key contributor to operations strategy for the region given extensive knowledge of subject matter and customers in the geography.
  • Maintain industrial safety awareness through the completion of pertinent safety certifications.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field such as Computer Science, Computer information systems, electronics or in lieu of degree a minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial automation network systems engineering.
  • CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional or similar security certification.
  • CISCO Certified Network/Design/Security Professional (at least one) – must currently be certified or in the process of certification.
  • Linux/Windows Security Basics.
  • 10+ years working with IT Security.
  • 10+ years Industrial Networking.
  • 10+ years’ Experience within Industrial Process Control.
  • 5+ years Leading Security Projects.
  • 5+ years performing audits/assessments.
  • Cyber Security Risk Analysis.
  • Process Control system design/implementation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve complex network and or application or system integration issues.
  • Industrial Control Systems.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Site’s Safety requirements.
  • Strong virtualization experience (VCP).
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
  • Networking certs (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE).
  • Experience performing cybersecurity/network services at customer sites.
  • Experience in LAN/WAN architectures & related diagnostic tools.
  • Experience designing and optimizing complex LAN environments.
  • LAN/WAN and wireless networking principles and protocols including Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLAN, WLAN, Frame Relay, Firewall, DMZ, VPN, IDS, switches, routers, firewalls.
  • TCP/IP protocols – SMTP, SNMP, FTP, HTTP, SSH, SSL.
  • Experience Network Security – Firewall, ACL, IDS, IPS, SIEM.
  • Specific experience in Cisco Routers, Switches, or Firewalls.
  • Microsoft – Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, Terminal Server.
  • Experience with anti-virus systems, backup & restore solutions, system management.

Role Profile: The Change Manager is responsible for managing the change queue and ensuring changes are made efficiently, with minimum risk to the organization. The Change Manager has a duty to protect the IT systems of the organization, ensuring the changes that are made do not present an unacceptable risk. He or she must look for conflicts in active changes and determine the most appropriate time to commit changes to the production systems. The Change Manager is responsible for managing the lifecycle of all changes, with the primary responsibility of enabling beneficial changes to be made with minimal disruption to the business. A Change Manager will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the changes to business processes, systems and technology.

Job Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with ITIL service management implementation specifically around change and release management
  • 5+ years of experience supporting software development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business Management, preferred
  • Able to work well with all levels of professionals in an organization
  • Excellent active listening, root cause identification and interpersonal skills
  • Good team player and able to operate independently
  • Proficient in spreadsheet tools to analyze data and build reports
  • IT Service Management experience, ideally as a certified Change Manager
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, with experience working with Change Management, Incident Management and Problem Management, ideally in a regulated environment
  • Technical Project/Program Management experience, IT Operations or Technical Support experience
  • Broad experience of IT infrastructure and applications
  • 3+ years strong project management skills with accountability for end-to-end delivery.
  • Experience working with Service Now or JIRA an advantage

Role Responsibilities

  • Leading the change management activities within a structured process framework.
  • Designing the strategic approach to managing change and support operations that fall within the domain of change management.
  • Evaluating the change impact and organizational readiness to limit potential risk.
  • Evaluating the risk of change and providing actionable guidelines on reducing the impact.
  • Setup and chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and (eCAB) meetings where IT changes will be reviewed, authorized and scheduled
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the decisions and performance related to the change request.
  • Ensure that changes are recorded and then evaluated, authorized, prioritized, planned, tested, implemented, documented and reviewed in a controlled manner
  • Implement change management strategy depending on a situational awareness of the detailed change and the groups being affected by the change.
  • Manage high risk changes ‘end to end’ on various IT infrastructure, platforms & applications of the Company.
