Key Responsibilities:
- Create a yearly Middle Eastern event strategy that is aligned with and contributes to the overall commercial strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure events are integrated with larger campaigns to maximise the impact of events.
- Come up with event concepts to engage with prospects, merchants and partners to increase Tap Payments awareness, generate and convert leads and continue to educate merchants.
- Ensure events are running smoothly from beginning to end by coordinating all things related to sponsored and partner events including but not limited to planning, promotion, logistics, execution, budgeting, contracting and administration.
- Facilitate landing pages, set-up email campaigns and keep track of registration and coordination of attendees.
- Evaluate and report on event ROI, including creating surveys, post-event tracking, wrap-up reports, and recommendations for future events.
Background & Experience:
- 5+ years of event marketing experience; B2B tech or event agency experience is a plus.
- A positive self-starter with a creative mindset who has a data-driven approach, and the ability to navigate through ambiguity.
- Proven skills in organisation, documentation, and attention to detail;
- Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills - Arabic is a plus;
- Good understanding and appreciation of working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.
- Passionate and results driven.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines; attention to detail is a must.
- A strong team player and lateral thinker, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually, and independently. A confident decision maker.
- Adapts to rapidly changing priorities and manage multiple projects.
