Purchasing Clerk, Flowserve, Al Khobar, KSA

 Role Summary:

The Purchasing Clerk is responsible to create, monitor and follow up on all department reporting and KPIs, utilizing Oracle, discoverer reports and buyers’ input. Also, to work on open orders and expedite the delivery and assure all the opened orders to be received on time without delay, also reporting any issue provided from the supplier to the supply chain manager/internal end users.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Main Accountabilities:

  • Expedite, Follow up on all open orders/shipments/backlogs and initiate improvement actions.

  • Achieve deliverables (requisitions/orders/otd/quality) as set in accountability meetings.

  • Ensure reduction of lead time and expedite orders to achieve high OTD%.

  • Coordinate with buyers/Logistics/Warehouse/Supply chain to improve deliveries and processes within department.

  • Ensure achieving supplier performance objectives in terms of cycle time, value add services provided, and on-time delivery.

  • Report the KPIs follow-ups daily to SC Manager.

  • Generate daily open PRs/POs report

  • Ensure LLI report list is up to date with all the input and output

  • Ensure PR/PO cancelation reports are up to date

  • Ensure Savings/deviation report is up to date and to update the monthly report for global SCM

  • Ensure Vendors contacts list is updated by all buyers and frequently reviewed

  • Ensure Item information list is up to date

  • Ensure Red Flags are reported in timely manner and what actions are taken

  • Ensure to have all reporting tools are up to date and developed continually to assure accurate data is provided

  • Ensure SCM department KPI tool is up to date and managed all the time

  • Suppliers visit sometimes is needed to expedite, ability to travel

  • Should be able to understand the processes and procedures which are needed to complete daily work.

  • Do whatever assigned by SCM which is related to daily work & beneficiary to work continuation and progress.

  • Knowing how to react with others in the department to assure smooth progress in daily work.

  • Using creative approaches for problem solving.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

Experience and Education level

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • Excel experience and knowledge is mandatory

  • Excellent English

  • 0-3 years’ experience

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent competency level in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent experience using Excel

  • Good communication skills with excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.

In this job of Logistics Coordinator, you will be working on assisting the logistics operations complying with the company and government policies.

What will you do?

  • The logistics coordinator will manage shipping material between vendors & suppliers. This includes coordinating between vendors, suppliers, shippers, forwarders and customs and any related entities (such as SASO, SABER, IECEE,) to secure the delivery of the shipments.
  • Responsible for all import products registration, Managing the product certification renewals
  • Communicate with supplier & advise the requirements
  • Follow up with regulatory bodies and ensure timely registration
  • Manage all activities in moving the shipments, Responsible to manage communications with all the suppliers for up-coming shipments
  • Checking and approving shipping documents for all importing shipments
  • Creating shipping documents for all exporting shipments
  • Moving, tracking, and insuring the delivery of the shipments within the planned dates
  • Follow-up with the suppliers for deliveries, non-conformities, etc.
  • Follow-up on invoice scheduling, supplier timely payments, etc.
  • Reporting the shipments status to all respective teams internally.
  • Filing and archiving all the shipping documents, custom duties clearance invoices and the proofs of deliveries
  • Managing the logistics partners relationships. Following up on their overdue invoices

Job Description

The Head of Media & Advertising is responsible to cultivate and execute the Chevrolet and GMC global brand vision, as well as to develop and launch the brand’s short and long term strategies (ICE & EV) to grow our brand health metrics with our target audience in the Middle East region.   

In this role, you will oversee the brand’s efforts to increase awareness, build brand equity and generate quality leads through strong insights-based marketing communications.   Responsibilities include developing and implementing  marketing plans at the brand and nameplate levels, lead the charge implementing innovative digital channel communications, identify talent to recruit and build the Marketing function and provide leadership and guidance to the Advertising team, as well as collaborate cross functionally across the organization locally and globally (Sales, Product, Finance, Dealer Network, GPSC, Legal, CCA, Digital & CX, PR & EV Readiness, Global Brand an Media teams) to drive business and execute our long term growth strategy. 

Areas of responsibility include – Brand Advertising, Media, Retail Marketing, Budget management, Digital Marketing, Social (including Crisis Management lead), Agency Partner management and Dealer support.

People leader responsibility – (5 direct reports) Brand Advertising Managers (Chevy & GMC), Budget & Media Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, Retail Marketing Manager.  The Social Specialist role reports into the Digital Marketing Manager.

  • Brand Strategy (ICE & EV)
  • Responsible for developing and implementing new and effective marketing strategies to drive engagement, acquisition, conversion and build brand health
  • Achieve flawless launches with an integrated marketing and media plan driving a digital and social leadership approach
  • Drive improvement across all brand health metrics by having a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors and develop insight-driven advertising strategies
  • Showcase strategic ability to deliver organizational goals while cementing the brand position in the market
  • Active participation on all global / regional calls (Brand, Product, Strategy, Councils) for Chevrolet & GMC
  • Represent the Brand when required for all Media activities and marketing conferences

  • Raise Dealer brand knowledge, application and plans in line with the global vision

  • Budget Management & Agency Management
    • Advertising Budget owner for Media, Retainer, Production & Retail Marketing
      • CY forecast and outlook
      • Approver for all brand related PRs
    • Lead the annual Marketing budget planning process (with CX & Accessories team) with CMO and Finance
    • Responsible for Agency scope (description & FTEs), global team alignment and department negotiations
    • Manage the relationship for CAORs and Media Agencies to drive one team approach
    • Support to CRM agency and cross brand teams when needed

  • Cross functional alignment
  • New Vehicle Launch Strategy Planning and managing cross-functional ‘go to market’ plans with Product Marketing, Sales, PR, Finance and CX team
  • Be the back up for the Product Marketing and CX departments within Marketing
  • Build and maintain relationships with the Sales, OnStar and CCA organization to drive efficiencies and collaborative goals
  • Work closely to align Brand and PR activities (including Ride & Drives, All Employee Meetings, Global / Local Reveals, CY Planning)
  • Participate as required in all leadership forums
  • Engage and align with Cadillac Marketing team to synergize campaign timing, strategies and processes

Additional Job Description

  • Knowledge and Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Communications
  • Understanding of brand positioning, digital marketing, media planning/buying and social platforms
  • Overall understanding of regional consumer behavior and trends
  • Robust understanding of Marketing & Sales process at an Automotive OEM or related field
