Role Summary: The chief information security officer is responsible for: · Planning, developing, directing, and operating an innovative, trusted, and reliable information security program to support the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information at APCO in line with appropriate regulatory frameworks and standards. He/she will work with all levels of management and areas of the business to scope and implement robust security standards and procedures. He/She will· act as the subject matter expert on security policy, regulations, standards, technical and procedural controls for senior leadership, define potential security concerns that might arise from acquisitions or other significant organisational changes. ·
He/She will be the primary point of contact for internal and external resources on IT security and security audit related issues. 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program
  • Develop and enhance an information security management framework. Work directly with the business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes
  • Collaborate with all functional and client facing areas of the business to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems and services 
  • Provide leadership to security resources.
  • Partner with corporate leadership and business stakeholders to ensure information security initiatives get the resources and positioning they need to be successful.
  • Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and system from a security perspective.

Requirements and Experience

  • 10+ years of relevant technology experience in a technical environment, with exposure to information security, technical infrastructure security, security compliance, ideally with experience leading and scaling a security program in a multi-office environment.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation required or other relevant industry certifications (i.e., CISM, CISA, CRISC, CHPS) · Experience of attaining/maintaining IOS 27001, PCI, COBIT, NIST or similar.
  • Conversant with multiple computing platforms and supporting infrastructure, common data security tools such as forensic utilities, log aggregation and analysis, firewalls, IPS, endpoint protection systems, patching and MDM solutions, vulnerability management platforms etc.
  • Experience implementing controls and mitigating risks related to GDPR, PCI, and other information security and data privacy standards · Experience selecting and implementing managed security services and cloud security technologies.
  • Demonstrable experience representing an organization's information security program in presentations and discussions with customers, partners, and other external parties
  • Experience of successfully managing complex change across a multi-country organization. ·
  • Outstanding communication and diplomacy skills, able to build strong narratives on security matters for employees and customers

Position Responsibilities

  • Supports and prioritizes the needs of the Dubai office including administrative and office management support.
  • Assists HR with daily HR matters, work visas, scheduling, wellness, appraisals, etc. 
  • Manages and coordinates multiple calendars, both individual and team specific.

As a Lead  Logistics Specialist, you’ll manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers . You will manage both Intercompany & third-party international / overseas movements . You will manage any regional inventory transfers and non-project movement for logistics.

As a Lead  Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and leading end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve required on-time pick up & delivery of goods
  • Arranging required customs clearances shipping/receiving & packing activities
  • Ensuring logistics compliance to all regulatory requirements, company policies and Saudi region import operations
  • Performing the record keeping of the logistics documentation as per the policy & procedures
  • Following internal HSE policies for equipment and logistics to ensure safety and compliance
  • Achieving cost savings through maximizing utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors and identifying additional efficiency opportunities, consistent with goals and objectives.
  • Coordinating with customs broker, freight forwarder, terminals import processes to grasp a flawless execution
  • Analyzing import processes to determine methods for improving efficiency and reducing costs. Make sure imported goods comply with government regulations and Company Policies.
  • Handling communication with internal customers about the importation status. Helping foster trusting relationships with vendors and team members
  • Contributing to projects as a team member. Tracking products flow from origin to final delivery
  • Supporting procedures review, to ensure maximum efficiency or minimum cost
  • Conferring with logistics management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost
  • Discussing business strategies, practices, or policies with managers.
  • Monitoring organizational processes. Supporting on evaluation of vendor operations (e.g. freight forwarders) according to quality standards


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Show solid experience in logistics. Have additional experience in Customs Operations
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Foreign Trade
  • Have minimum 5 years of Experience in Logistics.
  • Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
  • Have knowledge of Customs regimes .
  • Demonstrate experience with importation of DGR “ radioactive, explosive and chemicals “.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills. Interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently, problem solving skills.
