Job Purpose

To achieve the commercial objectives and targets in the assigned area/territory from different channels: building effective business relationships, enhancing brand visibility and promoting Company’s products and services.

Carries marketing campaigns and promotions, and increases the market share in line with set measures and Company’s adopted policies and procedures.

Key Result Responsibilities

  • Achieves and exceeds the set sales targets the OTA channel assigned; constantly reviews financial data to evaluate performance; identifies shortages, recommends changes to respective Manager and implements corrective measures accordingly.
  • Identifies new opportunities to manage/maximize sales adopting different channels.
  • Meets the stakeholders to educate and influence them promote Air Arabia products, bundles and services.
  • Builds rapport with stakeholders and key customers in the respective area with an accurate database.
  • Conducts visits, bench-mark analysis to keep abreast with competitors’ position, market conditions, and customer needs.
  • Implements and runs a pro-active and effective OTA accounts management process and communication structure to ensure commercial objectives are fully understood and targets are met and exceeded with clients.
  • Advises management on new OTA opportunities, negotiates contracts, modules and products to ensure best practice is applied and maximum benefit is achieved from the agreements signed with agencies and vendors.
  • Monitors the OTA/API integration process and partners with stakeholders to ensure that solutions and services supplied meet requirements.
  • Monitors the technical efficiency of the OTA customers’ online engines to enable their competitiveness and functionality and to supply them with relevant support.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

  • Bachelor degree in Management or equivalent.
  • Additional qualification in Aviation/ IATA/ Tourism is a plus.
  • Proficient in computer applications and usage of Microsoft word, Advanced Excel and Power Point skills.
  • Fluent in English Language (French/ Spanish or German is a plus).
  • Valid Driver’s License in the assigned territory is preferred.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of related sales experience in Aviation/Airline or tourism industry, experience with low cost airline is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in OTA sales or OTA management. 
  • Possesses effective persuasive sales and marketing skills and techniques.
  • Capable of developing reports, comparison sheets, and charts as well as utilizing statistics to identify trends and support the revenue team with recommendations.
  • Proven skills in analyzing data, identifying pitfalls and recommending effective solutions.
  • Cost-oriented, possesses effective persuasive, negotiation, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Employs a balance of technical expertise, and interpersonal relations to execute new initiatives that support company’s objectives.
  • Capable of understanding market needs, trends, and planning accordingly.
  • Established rapport with clients and government authorities, etc.
  • Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against business strategy and set KPIs.

Airport Services Coordinator, flydubai, Dubai, UAE

 The Airport Services Coordinator oversees the appointed Ground Handler to ensure consistent delivery of high quality service to flydubai passengers in respect of check-in, boarding, special services, ramp operations and baggage services. Applying the company’s commercial and safety standards and procedures, the ASC is the front line interface with passengers and will assist in the smooth and efficient processing of all passengers.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


Key Activities 


1. Agents will be assigned to check-in, Departures/Transfer, Ramp or Arrivals on a rotating basis.

2. Set up check-in area and ensure correct allocation of desks, manpower and other resources

3. Monitor passenger flow and queue times providing assistance and adjusting desk allocation as required.

4. Ensure proper enforcement of flight opening/closure times, baggage policies, Credit Checks and documentation requirements.

5. Provide assistance and information to passengers and stakeholders as necessary

6. Ensure timely commencement and close out of boarding process

7. Assist passenger progress through security, immigration and transfer areas and assist with baggage and flight connections

8. Ensure safe passenger embarkation and disembarkation processes and monitor turn-round handling and baggage handling activities within company/regulatory safety and security guidelines

9. Assist passenger arrivals and baggage reclaim process and offer any assistance as necessary

10. Liaise with all stakeholders and assist passengers in case of delays or disruption

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

 

Minimum Qualification 

  • High School Level or equivalent basic education
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English. Command over spoken and written Arabic preferable

Experience 

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service related role

Knowledge / Skills 

  • Knowledge of airline passenger and baggage handling preferred
  • Proficiency in Verbal/Written Arabic language and advantage

Job Summary

The Procurement Officer will oversee purchases, consolidate the requirements and develop new contracts.   • Follow up on the deliveries and quotations to meet the agreed SLA with the suppliers.

  • Liaise with other business teams in relation to technical matters arising from purchases, deliveries, or contracts.
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, payments, and other important data
  • Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.
  • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
  • Support in tracking and updating payments on purchases made on behalf of business and coordinate with the internal team, management and accounts on payment transfer if required.
  • Coordinate with accounts, suppliers, legal and Internal business teams as needed
  • Manage other purchasing-related tasks as assigned

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, commerce or related field is must.
  • 3-5 years of previous experience as procurement officer or related position
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems. Basic knowledge of accounting and finance is required
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer purchases and contracts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal sensitively in multi-cultural environments and build effective business relationships with suppliers, customers and staff at all levels.

What You Will Do:

  • Build a solid understanding of Ecolab products, customer plant operations and business objectives, and applicable government regulations.
