About the Role:


We're looking for product designers with 4-7 years of experience to help us craft compelling experiences for our users.

You'll get to work on diverse products, right from problem understanding all the way to crafting compelling interfaces. You'll own the problem space, solve real-world problems and collaborate with a close-knit team of designers, product managers and developers.

You will help build our iOS, Android, and Watch OS applications adding and tweaking features aimed at improving customer delight.


Responsibilities:

  1. Execute design projects across the entire product lifecycle through multiple product launches. You set the vision for the user experience and create the space for others to collaborate
  2. Work closely with the lead designer on the entire design process, from research to building slick UI/UX.
  3. Be meticulous. Be autonomous. You’ll take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way.
  4. Solve user issues by designing the product simply and elegantly from prototypes to end-to-end flows.
  5. Closely work with the Development Team to bring the best of your design alive.
  6. Enhance the application experience and help build the future of Metabolic Health.

Prerequisites:

  1. 4+ years of work experience in visual design and application design, with a penchant for building experiences.
  2. Obsession with detail and experience building high-quality products is a must.
  3. Strong visual graphic design skills, including motion design.
  4. Skilled with graphics editors, specifically Sketch.
  5. A portfolio that demonstrates masterful understanding and application of layout, colour, and typography.
  6. Proven ability to present your designs to senior leadership, communicate the reasoning behind your work, and translate feedback into an updated proposal.

About the Role

    • Experience in operating a licensed financial service in a relevant industry; e.g., crypto/blockchain, fintech, financial services, or brokerage/exchange.
    • Prior experience owning relationships with financial regulators on behalf of commercial entities.
    • Qualified to serve on the boards of directors of Kraken regional subsidiaries, being in good standing with respective regulators and industry bodies.
    • Expertise in financial products and regulatory compliance, including AML, capital markets, and crypto regimes.
