JOB DESCRIPTION

    Provide good technical support of Foam line preparation as assigned by Maintenance engineer and Maintenance Manager.
    Control process parameter and correcting data from manufacturing process.
    To ensure production process is in control with process design.
    Take care for day to day oration of foam equipment.

    Responsible for all area of foam line equipment operation.
    Responsible to monitor maintain and improve foam quality continuously.
    Respond to information from production and quality as needed.
    To support Manufacturing engineer on any problems as assigned by Maintenance Manager.
    Develop / Troubleshoot formulation and pouring pattern during production.
    Develop process for new program launch together with process engineer (PF, FMEA, Process check sheet etc.)
    Day to day operation and continuous improvement quality of product.
    Able to work on shift pattern.
    5S and Safety always good
    Zero Injury (RC and LTC)
    Reporting near miss/Unsafe Action / Safety suggestion to Supervisor / Team Leader (1 issue/month)
    Complete 100% machine daily checklist (PM).
    Involve & engage in Safety Activity and initiative : safety week, 5S, HSE training, wear proper PPE.
    Follow & no violation on the safety rules, WI, Procedure : machine guarding, forklift operation, crane PPE, LOTO
    Peer to Peer observation and feedback.

Detailed Job Description

 

Scope/Function   Rotational 5 weeks on 5 weeks off                                                                      

Provide process engineering & mechanical technical support to internal & external projects in the field services team. Responsibilities include; Support field services as directed by management internationally, gas compressor maintenance & overhauls, pre-/commissioning & commissioning activities, detailed report writing, audits, troubleshooting & debottlenecking of all related equipment.

                                                                        

Principle Duties and Responsibilities                                                                        

    Travel internationally for start up and commissioning of natural gas compressors and natural gas processing facilities                                                                        
    Travel to remote locations to support customers with maintenance, overhauls and troubleshooting of all plant equipment                                                                        
    Work closely with key stakeholders to resolve application and engineered design difficulties between the field and engineering                                                                        
    Create, update, track and complete commissioning reports over the tenure of extended jobs for the successful completion.                                                                         
    Prepare punch list reports and determine corrective measures for on-site problems                                
    Develop, implement and optimize CMMS processes and procedures in Company's SAP Enterprise software        
    Participate in plant pre-com / commissioning & start up. Assist site team's with training & knowledge transfer entering O&M phases                                                                        
    Maintain cleanliness, order and housekeeping of all equipment and workplaces while on customer and company locations                                                                        
    Comfortable in the field or office, capable of working with diverse international teams, able to resolve disputes and build consensus.                                                                         
    Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines                                                                        
    Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager                                                                        

Job Specifications                                                                        

    Minimum Bachelors degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering  or Technical degree                                     
    Minimum of 5 years hands on experience of greenfield gas plant development and mechanical equipment with High level of experience with propane mechanical refrigeration screw compressor                                
    Experienced in hands on training for respective systems within the scope of work (train the trainer principle)        
    Mechanical refrigeration process technician background with engine and reciprocating compressor experience or an Engine and compression technician background with solid mechanical refrigeration credentials is a must        
    Systematic with able to focus on proper documentation, organization and communication to support different facets of work                                                                        
    Knowledgeable about engine manufacturers and engine control equipment, Caterpillar, Waukesha, Altronic controls                                                                        
    Conversant with commissioning and testing and start up of process, utility system and equipment                
    Must have experience in reviewing Process Flow Diagrams, Isometric Diagrams, and P&IDs                        
    Thorough understanding of plant and pipeline operations, hydrocarbon process technologies, process modeling        
    Strong customer facing ,Leadership, interpersonal and communication skills                                        
    Strong English verbal and written communication skills, Arabic is a plus                                                
    Conversant computer skills in Microsoft Office, SAP maintenance management, WinPCS or equivalent construction, commissioning management software                                                                         

Working Conditions                                                                        

Remote  site working conditions, hot & humid climate, long working hours, on call after hours. Travel from country to country on short notice

About the role

Organisation Unit Purpose

Group Business Performance roles is to support the Group in the performance management of the Bank, subsidiaries and its presence in International locations across all aspects such as but not limited to preparation of yearly budget, monthly performance reporting, business case validation, spend versus budget monitoring, Cost Management, Project and Advanced Analytics.

Job Purpose

    To support Head of Business Performance, Group Financial Controller and Group CFO, aided by the power of financial information and help to strategize the group’s vision, objectives and growth.  This will be derived through qualitative management information systems, analytics, value creation and identifying key business drivers
    Ensure adherence to management accountant principles for all performance reporting
    Alignment and designing the reconciliation framework of business performance reporting with various other units of Finance
    Monitor and analyse actual performance against annual financial plans & budgets using various MI reports and tools

Main Tasks

Drive Performance Management with the conventional and Islamic banking businesses, subsidiaries & associate companies through a robust challenge & review process across actual performance, forecasts and budgets.

Add value to the strategic direction by driving the medium term planning, annual budgeting and continuous forecasting process by adopting best practice performance management techniques and KPIs for Emirates NBD Group and its subsidiaries, in support of Group CFO, CEO, ExCo and the Board.

Add value to the strategic direction by assisting Group CFO, CEO, ExCo and the Board derive Group vision, mission and aspiration as well as values and behaviors and role model values and behaviors particularly on performance.

Drive Value Based Management for the Group including establishment of a best in class economic profit framework in conjunction with businesses, technology and risk in line with Basel and proven Economic Profit techniques.

Responsible to define and establish management accounting policy and reporting framework across Emirates NBD Group and all its subsidiaries. This includes involvement in transfer pricing policy and cost allocation rules and framework
 
Qualifications
 

Requirements

A professional degree in Finance (CA or MBA preferred)

Minimum of 8-10 years of post qualification experience

Should have worked in a Banking setup

Should have exposure to Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and Budgeting & Forecasting exercise

Should have managed a team of people

Detailed IT knowledge

 

Good understanding of accounting, management reporting and business performance measurement tools

Excellence with MS Office Applications

 

Strong financial, analytical and communication skills

Capability to work under own initiative and under pressure to deliver high quality products to tight deadlines

Able to guide and drive the team to achieve its desired objectives

Comfortable to work in multi-cultural setup with flexible working hours
