To monitor and coordinate the planned individual staff career development plans are achieved through training and ensure high motivation levels.

Dealership Standards

To implement the Principals Dealer standards on Systems and processes for achieving compliance and adopting best business practice.

Resource utilization

To plan and deliver optimal utilization of the manpower resources to meet or exceed Service performance KPI benchmarks on productivity, efficiency, turnaround time, revenue per order through process and people development.

Accounts Receivables

To effectively monitor and follow up credit outstanding as well maintain cordial relationship with Creditors to achieve nil overdue more than 60 days and review credit limits in line with business.

Product concerns

To adhere to product concern handling and escalation process to achieve timely resolution and customer satisfaction and ensure staff are technically updated of the developments.

 

JOB CONTEXT

Service Manager will lead the team of Direct Productive and Non Direct Productive associates & he will be reporting to Service Operations Manager, :  Some of the main challenges are:

    Plays a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities within the region to ensure that budgeted service revenue targets are achieved every month.
    Lead and  develop a strong performing team capable of achieving changing customer expectation levels by achieving target CSI scores
    Demonstrates people skills and knowledge of products which play decisive role in crucial and critical customer handling in cases where his involvement becomes imperative.
    Maintenance and upkeep of the workshop equipment’s to maximise utilisation and minimise downtime. Initiate procurement of additional equipment’s in line with business growth.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Diploma or Bachelor of Automobile /Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum Experience:  8 to 10 Years overall experience with automobile dealership – Out of which a minimum 3 years   in Service Dept. at managerial role.

Job-Specific Skills: Automotive dealer / distributor business processes, working knowledge of MS office, ERP skills, KPI driven customer focused operation, leadership

Behavioral Competencies: People oriented, strategic and analytical, honest and responsible, cultural sensitive and sound work ethics.

About Position:

 

We are currently looking for technically competent & performance driven Workshop Supervisor to work for Toyota / Lexus. Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will be in charge of ensuring output of top quality work executed at maximum efficiency from the shop floors.

Your key responsibilities are as follows:

 

    Maintain good shop floor efficiency for quick / timely vehicle delivery and good profitability.
    Ensure Technicians’ optimum utilization, productivity and efficiency.
    Ensure proper job distribution, control and follow-up so that work is done correctly and as per schedule.
    Ensure quality work for enhanced customer satisfaction and retention by minimizing repeat jobs hence increasing total workshop efficiency.
    Train / coach to improve the ability of the team members and their efficiency.
    Carries out road test before commencing job to confirm the complaint and test (static & dynamic) later to confirm effectiveness of repair.
    Ensure strict implementation of company rules, regulations and procedures (including warranty) within company policies

 

 About You:

 

    The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Degree or Diploma preferably in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering with Technical certifications
    You will have at least a minimum of 5 years’ recent experience in an automotive dealership, 2 years in supervisory Role
    You should have excellent technical knowledge and has the ability to write technical reports.
    You should also be able to communicate effectively with strong analytical, communication and inter-personal skills with administrative competence.
    Candidates with experience in the automotive industry as a Supervisor, Team Leader or Workshop Controller are highly preferred.
    Having a valid UAE driving license is necessary for this role!

Job Purpose

To plan, manage and lead the showroom sales to achieve sales target and to ensure smooth, efficient and effective functioning of showroom.

Roles & Responsibilities

    Monitor showroom control KPIs (test drive ratio, closing ratio) and drive maximum achievement by all Sales Advisors
    Ensure proper Lead Management as per Al Tayer Motors’ and brand principles guidelines and KPIs
    Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work, and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles

 

Key Selection Criteria

 

    Minimum 7 years’ experience in Automotive sales with atleast 3 years in managerial role such as Showroom Manager/Assistant Showroom Manager or equivalent
    Should have good knowledge and exposure of Automotive market in UAE
    Graduate in any discipline
    Good knowledge of Automobile sales gained through formal training and work experience
    Dynamic and proactive personality
    Excellent communication skills
    Ability to lead, develop and motivate teams
