Job Purpose:

The primary focus of the role will be to achieve or exceed the sales/profits targets set by the company for the products handled.  At the same time, ensure customer satisfaction by providing after sales service of minor nature as it will be convenient to customers. The role will be based in Doha, Qatar and report to the Sales Coordinator.

 

Key Responsibilities

    Attend to customers to offer company products (watches) on ability to explain the benefits along with the product features and on the given prices with a view to achieve a good sales performance.    
    Maintain and upkeep the showroom with an attractive display of watches to motivate potential customers.    
    Maintain daily sales, service and stock registers, updating them day to day.    
    Arrange procurement of watches from main stock when required for the sales.    
    Maintain custody of showroom sale proceeds and handling over same to the visiting banking officer.

    Define organizational policy and other factors that have a critical impact on the job
    This front line staff acts as consumers main contact with our organization and their interaction will leave a long lasting impression about the company and our products too. As after sales service is also involved in the work giving an opportunity to have a good customer base who will be pleased to come again for repeat purchase or after sales needs.
    A close liaison should be maintained between Senior Technician, merchandising team, supply chain and with their sales in charge to have a right synergy in the retail location.

 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

    Degree education preferred but not essential
    Customer service skills
    Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    Must have good command of the English language and Arabic is preferable
    Familiarity with computer use
    Passion for retail industry
    Flexibility and punctuality
    Self-motivated, reliable and confident
    Identify customer needs
    Pleasing personality

Abbott Established Pharmaceutical Division is looking for a Sales Manager to be based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

The Sales Manager will maintain existing accounts in an assigned territory. Act alone and as a liaison for various Sales specialists with accounts to increase Abbott market penetration. Continually develop growth opportunities for their assignments of Abbott products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Achieve country sales targets at desirable share of markets.

Control country expense within approved allocated budget.

Provide direction to facilitate goal setting process in line with Corporate and Marketing department goals; monitor progress; measure results; reward incentive payments; performance appraisals.

Select, interview, lure new recruits to the sales team.

Clear upside potential where she/he is going to lead sales force later through team of supervisors.

Provide in-field coaching, follow up training to support skill-based training and develop subordinates to facilitate succession planning.

Conduct sales meetings to monitor progress; facilitate communication; provide representatives with forum to network; provide training.

Control and monitor implementation of sales strategies and tactics and provide feedback and market intelligence to Marketing department.

Maintain contact with key accounts; identify opportunities for corporate marketing and cultivate as appropriate.

Effectively communicate with all levels of staff via staff meetings, written communications and one-on-one communication.

Interact and work with management/ employees to promote teamwork.

Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements, policies and procedures and serve as a role model to all employees by demonstrating full support of occupational health, safety and environmental programs.

Identify and implement best practices and encourage innovation.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION, YOU'LL BRING :

Tertiary Qualifications in medical sciences is a must.

5-6 years of in the sales field of pharmaceutical experience. From which, a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role  in people management (sales management, district sales manager or supervisor).

Fully aware and knowledgeable about key accounts and key stakeholders in UAE market.

Strong sales record.
