Description

 

The job holder will be responsible for the up keeping of the presentable interiors of the outlet with all its safety, ensuring smooth operations of the organization (all the outlets, warehouses, staff accommodation, etc.


 Maintenance & Repair:

To regularly survey the outlets for any maintenance and repair works.

To check and discuss with respective Unit Managers of the findings of the survey and reporting to the Facilities Manager.

All required repair of flooring, walls and ceiling works to be planned and done.

To check if any Painting / Interior works are required in the outlets and getting it done.

To rectify digital print pilling on the walls.

To get all the damages with the plumbing and drainages rectified.

To get all kind of Carpentry, Upholstery, Railings, etc. works for the outlet office, outlet, etc. done.

To get all types of Welding works done from outside or internally.

Getting quotations for the related works and getting it approved (All major work to be outsourced).

Prioritizing the maintenance and repair works as per,

Emergency repairs,

Preventive maintenance,

Cosmetic Repairs

 


Administration:


Regularly inspecting the outlets for safety and security with regards to the ambience.

Out sourcing the major works and supervising the same.

Updating the Facilities Log Book per outlet on regular basis, i.e. after the work is done.

Updating the work done by taking pictures before and after the work.

Retaining the work history

Knowledge, Skills & Experience


Education


10th Grade (SSC) / Vocational training on Civil Works


Language


 

Job Experience


2-3 years of experience with interiors or civil works in a leading company

Advanced Knowledge in all sorts of Maintenance and repair works, like Civil, Painting, Joinery work, etc. 

Advance knowledge on latest interiors works and contracting.

Job Purpose –


Primary responsibility of the role is the control the inventory and assets of the hotel so as to maximize the revenue.  


Key Accountabilities –


Prepare costing for recipes and menus prepared by the Executive Chef and suggest the selling price.

Posting the menus and recipes in Inventory & POS systems

Checking Day to Day Purchase Details

Test checking on the receiving of goods at the hotel and to see that the procedures are followed correctly.

Verifying Daily Stores Receiving and Issue Report.

Assist the store keeper whenever required.

Liaise closely with the Food & Beverage department on various operational costs related issues and inform Management when expenses and costs are high and are not in line with revenues generated.

Random test counts in the Beverage Stores, Inventory of outlets by reconciling the opening stock with the closing stock, taking account of store issues and sales.

Attend outlet theme nights to ensure beverage consumption is properly recorded, and no misuse has occurred.

Verifying the inter-departmental stock transfers and review the spoilages.

Compute the cost of employee’s meals, A&G and Complimentary Food & Beverage Expenses.

Checking Daily Reports (Daily Sales, Food & Beverage cost, Daily Flash, Outlet wise issue of Food & Beverage…..etc)

Prepare Outlet wise F&B Revenue Analysis

Verify Inventory Turn Over Report Monthly Basis

Verify Outlet wise Food, Beverage & Tobacco Cost Report Monthly Basis

Prepare Restaurant wise Ranking Report Monthly Basis

Conduct physical Inventory monthly & Quarterly

Monthly MIS Reports

Education

Diploma or Degree in Accounts


Job Experience

Minimum 2-3 year of experience as a Cost Controller in 3 or 4-star hotel  / Restaurants


Others

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge of FMS material management system, Opera and Sun Accounting System

A team player, willing to learn and perform with the team.

Description

 

This role will report into the Corporate Finance Head - Assurance & COE and will be responsible for providing a secondary check through internal reviews to test compliance with respect to applicable laws and regulations existing in UAE.

 Key areas that would be focused would include VAT, CbCR report filing under ESR, Transfer Pricing agreements and likely introduction of Corporate taxation in UAE. 

The position would also be the owner of the Standard Operating Practices and the Accounting Manual to be introduced in the COE and would be responsible for the test checking compliance and incorporating best practices as the case maybe. 

Finally, the position would be lead the review of the FAR compliance across concepts and territories and drive improvements thereon.


Key Responsibilities:


Responsible for leading the compliance of Centre of Excellence (COE) operations based out of UAE via periodic test checks conducted for VAT, related party transactions, potential introduction of corporate taxation, etc. 

Owning the Standard Operating Practices – test check compliance while driving improvements of practices 

Owning the Accounting Manual and work with COE Finance Managers to update the document based on evolving accounting and regulatory practices

Drive and support for the implementation of new IFRS standards as and when introduced by the IASB and as per the implementation calendar laid out by LMG

Identifying and share the best finance practices across concepts and territories

Responsible for driving management action plan arising out of Internal Audit reviews of COE and territory finance operations

Support the Corporate Head of Finance in driving actions arising out of the Risk Assurance Framework

Support the Corporate Head of Finance in driving improved compliance of Schedule of Authority as well as support for periodic changes as and when required

Support the Corporate Head of Finance for driving compliance to actions arising out of Audit Committee meetings

Lead for automation best practices in COE with the Corporate Head of Finance

Support the Senior Finance Manager (Corporate) on Statutory Audit on a case to case basis

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:


Education: Chartered Accountant (ICAI)


Experience:  5-7 years in an Audit Firm (Big4 or Top 6 Audit Firms), Shared Services


Functional Skills: Excellent knowledge of accounting guidelines including IFRS, experience in Internal Audit (Assurance services), exposure in ERP environment (Oracle or SAP), excellent skills in MS Office tools, particularly Excel, Word and Power-point


Behavioral Skills: Teamwork, attention to detail, meeting deadlines, customer service orientation, assertiveness, comfortable to work in cross functional teams.

Description

 

The job holder is responsible for working with the Supervisor  to ensure all the work carried out in Warehouse in safe and timely manner.


1. Inventory Management / Procruement


• Conducting physical stock verification at required interval

• Informing  the items which are below minimun stock level to replenish the stock

• Ensuring issue of material first in first out 


2. Operational Standards and Management


• Printing the pick slip for the material to be supplied to outlets

• Verify the material picked by the staff to ensure right items and quantity is picked

• Confirm stock transfer into system

• Send material to outlets with stock transfer

• Receive and verify material return from the outlets as per Material Return Note

• Complete the work allocated by the supervisor time to time

• Proper storage of material in their assign place

• Receive material from supplier and assist in counting and keeping in assigned location

• Verify material received as per packing list 

• Inform any descrepancy identified during receipt of material by preparing discrepancy slip

• Prepare Invoice for Territory Stock Transfer.

• Perform duties assigned time to time by the management



 

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualificaitons

• High school diploma

• 1-2 years work experience in warehouse
