The RPA Business Analyst works with the Robotics Process Automation (RPA) technology team and key stakeholders to create automated solutions for the business.

 The role is a key link between the technical team, Process Excellence and business stakeholders to ensure effective solutions are delivered which drive meaningful and measurable business value. 

The role will analyze and document complex business processes (AS-IS and TO-BE) for targeted processes. 

The candidate would also support the facilitation of discovery sessions across multiple teams and business units and lead the adoption / implementation activities associated with new RPA solutions within the business. 

The Business Analyst works with cross-functional teams and business units to understand, challenge and provide thought leadership on strategy to achieve the company’s goals through business and technology transformation. 

They identify automation opportunities, define RPA value proposition and re-engineer processes to improve automation potential.



Key responsibilities handled by RPA Business Analyst:

Work closely with teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design

Analyze business processes, identify potential automation opportunities, and propose a Plan of RPA strategy.

Creating the – PDD (Process Description Document), and SDD (Solution Design Document) in detail.

Providing the solution proposal by checking the scalability of the RPA client architecture.

Assist the team by providing insights from the documentations.

Updating to RPA stakeholders and other team members during project delivery


What Do You Need to Qualify

Required Technical Skills

4 years or more experience designing, developing and maintaining enterprise scale automation systems

Experience with process engineering and re-engineering

Core understanding of software engineering principles (e.g. encapsulation, extensibility, maintainability)

1 year or more experience designing & developing RPA workflows using UiPath platform

Must have hands-on experience in UiPath StudioX and/or Studio

Required Professional Skills

Communication skills

Critical analytical thinking and a great level of curiosity.

Logical thinking to find the hidden opportunities of the business processes.

Leadership skills to handle the whole team until the delivery of the project.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Ensure that the regional plans are in line with the requirements of the global strategy;

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS


Minimum formal safety qualification to Diploma / Degree level

Minimum of 15 years of practical experience in safety management roles;

Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in leading safety at a regional / global level;

Minimum of 7 years’ experience directing & coaching a team of safety professionals in an international environment;

Job Description

Job Purpose:


In addition to investments in new growth areas, standardization of software systems is being attempted across 100s of BUs WW : multiple modules like Finance Systems, Procurement, Payroll, Supply Chain Management, ERP, WMS, Order Management, Transportation Management, Security tools, Infrastructure deployment in standard security hubs, all of these are progressing in parallel.


Each of the 4 new growth areas has 5-6 sub-areas, and each of these sub-areas will end up having 10-20 different software systems, ie, a total of 200-500 software modules overall.


In addition, technology standardization leading to DP World’s strategy is needed across the multiple acquisitions that we make.


The job holder will have oversight across all these areas. They will work with stakeholders WW, both technical and business to rationalize the work that happens across all these areas, eliminate redundancy and duplication of effort, provide guidance on common platforms and architecture, and create and own the Enterprise Application Architecture. They will represent the CTO in external and internal executive meetings, be highly strategic, yet very much in the details. In addition to being the glue for technology across DP World, they will direct the evaluation of external tools, partnerships with technology companies, and drive standardization roadmaps to achieve the strategy of DP World.


Key Accountabilities:


Have a firm grasp on DP World’s strategy, its disparate systems, business units, and be able to envision an enterprise architecture that will help deliver on the strategy

Very knowledgeable on emerging technology trends, startups, and external technology associations, and be able to draw upon the right information

Work with the CTO, regional IT directors, CTO Directs, other regional business leaders to evangelize and champion the technology vision
