Chief Operating Officer- Cobblestone Energy, Dubai
As a Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will be in charge of day-to-day administration and operations of the business reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
As COO, you will support smooth running of operations, spearhead new initiatives and complement the present leaderships' skills to ensure we successfully execute the strategic vision for the company.
This is a rare opportunity to take a leading role in the growth of a major player in the European Electricity Markets.

We operate in the European Energy markets, recruit from across the globe and our commercial trading operations are moving to Dubai, UAE - once this quarantine period is over.
This role will be recruited and on-boarded remotely. Work shall be done from your home country until it is possible to do a relocation.
Cobblestone Energy shall handle all visa and paperwork issues on your behalf.

Key roles and responsibilities:
Establish and manage efficient business systems and processes.
Execute strategies developed by management team.
Oversee talent management & other supporting functions alongside HR manager.
Hiring and recruiting across all levels.
Training and development of all staff.
Performance management systems.
Organisation culture & employee wellbeing.
Develop and manage the company's organisation structures, roles, responsibilities, and reporting structures.
Establishing policies that promote company culture and vision.
Designing and implementing business operations.
Supporting company/CEO vision and mission – oversee and spearhead special projects – Support CEO to research and execute other special projects that support company mission and vision – projects may include new social or environmental impact initiatives, projects to diversify company investments, etc.
Establish financial procedures and internal controls.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Management consulting experience /background is desirable, though not compulsory
4-8 years of experience from leading companies, preferably including at least 1-3 years in a leadership role within the business
Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business acumen
People focused with strong interpersonal skills
Experience in working in high performance environment.
Independent thinker with a growth mindset.
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Outstanding records of academic and managerial or professional achievement
