Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Group CFO will be responsible for the management of all financial processes, activities and transactions across the business. Core roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:


Accountability for all administrative, financial and risk management for the group.

Responsible for the continuous development of financial and operational strategy.

Over all financial performance management including short and long-term financial performance of the company.

Prepare, monitor and update the periodic budget and long term business plan for the business.

Maintain all banking relationships whilst establishing a sound framework of financing policies and procedures.

Take over all responsibility for the cash management of the group including working capital facility, cash deposit, and cash collection.

Ensure sound risk management in order to mitigate key elements of the companies risk profile.

Monitor and oversee all legal issues for the group whilst ensuring reliable controls are set in place.

Ensure timely, relevant and accurate financial reporting to the management of the company, board of directors, shareholders and lenders.

Governance and compliance management.

Responsible for the overall accounting activities for the group.

Internal Audit and Internal Control management.

Candidates will have at least 10-15 years' of experience including no less than 5 years in a similar senior finance role.

The successful candidate will have solid experience gained in project finance, treasury, portfolio management, accounting, controlling, advisory and internal controls.

Family office experience is essential.

Candidates should hold a CPA, CFA, ACCA, CA etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION


The Chief Financial Officer serves as the primary financial officer for the hospital. Major responsibilities include developing and maintaining a strategic financial plan and annual operating and capital budgets; financial analysis of new programs, acquisitions, and business development; revenue management; preparation of the financial statements, in accordance with financial management and techniques appropriate to the healthcare industry; decision support and cost accounting;


oversight of disbursements and receivables processes.  RESPONSIBILITIES Proactively advise and educate management on all aspects which financially impact hospital operations.


Collaborate with the hospital to prepare and update long range forecasting for the hospital and its financial network.


Develop and administer the following activities:


Financial reports both internal and external


Financial policies, procedures and systems


Reimbursement strategies, reports and appeals


Budgeting systems for both operating and capital budgets


Tax returns and tax planning


Financial analysis of new programs, acquisitions and business development


Patient financial services, including receivables management and patient admissions processes


Disbursements (payroll and accounts payable) processing


Provide financial information and consultation to management.


Interpret current financial trends and respond with appropriate action.


Develop strategies to increase cash flow – including improvements in revenue cycle management all with a target of increasing days cash on hand.


Ensure compliance with covenants incorporated in financing documents.


Negotiate contracts and agreements with third parties.


Lead or facilitate strategies and steps for cost containment within the organization.


Plan, assign and review work of staff to ensure that group objectives are met. Hire, train, develop and manage staff to ensure that a qualified staff exists to meet group objectives.


Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. REQUIREMENTS


Education:


Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or equivalent discipline is required.


Masters degree in finance, accounting, business administration OR certification as a public accountant required.


Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for education requirements.


Experience:


A minimum of ten (10) years of healthcare delivery system administration; diverse portfolio with hospital land large medical group finance leadership roles.


Multi-site healthcare management experience preferred.


Graduate level education may substitute on a year-to-year basis for the required experience.


Knowledge of provider billing practices and understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies.


Job requires the highest level of problem solving. The work requires identifying and resolving very complex problems, such as developing innovative solutions based on extensive cross functional knowledge of the entire organization.


Work requires ability to ensure adherence to all policies and procedures of the hospital.
