Job Purpose:

Senior Financial Analyst to Support Corporate Finance Manager and Head of Finance in feasibility studies, presentations, financial due diligence, financial analysis, Business Planning, capital raising and deal execution.

Responsibilities:

Support in the development of monthly/quarterly/annual/5-years and long term business planning process, feasibility studies

Develop and/or maintain dynamic financial models with sensitivity and scenario analysis projecting 5 to 10-year financial statements

Assist in financial due diligence work for M&A transactions

Assist in dealings and negotiations with banks for debt raise

Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance per school /business unit, providing trends and developing forecast models

Provide input to key macro-economic data such as market benchmarks and demographic statistics, that are used as regular inputs to feasibility studies and business plan

Develop detailed business plans and financial models

Prepare advanced presentations, reports and market studies

Assist in Financial Due Diligence

Prepare and update key competition information

 

Qualifications

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, finance or engineering

MBA in Finance/Qualified accountant (CA/CPA) preferred

6 to 8 years

Business capabilities

Advanced excel skills with proven financial modeling experience

Excellent analytical capabilities and hands on experience in MS Office presentations

Strong presentation, reporting and communication skills

Experience in Education sector is desirable but not mandatory.

Interpersonal skills

Ability to liaise effectively business functions in order to collect input required for analysis

Ability to be detail focused when required whilst maintaining sight of the big picture

Deadline oriented and take ownership of work

Role and Responsibilities

Work as a Cyber Threat Intel Analyst in DTS Solution – HawkEye CSOC cyber command center.

Analyze and research known indicators, correlate events, identify malicious activity, and discover new sources to provide early warning related to a variety of Cyber threats.

Monitor Open Source information feeds and threat actor activity to identify activity levels and indicators for Cyber threats and Cyber-attacks.

Identify Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) threats relevant to the DTS Solution - HawkEye CSOC customer’s environment and develop relevant reports.

Provide daily (business day) collections, reviews, analysis and filtering of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and SOCMINT (Social Media Intelligence)

Identify and investigate malicious actors with the interest and capability to target client and its infrastructure.

Develop and provide a Cyber Threat Intelligence Report, Monthly Report and Quarterly Report and an Annual Report.

Reviews all current threat intelligence feeds in use, categorizes and prioritizes by relevancy.

Expertise in using Digital Risk Management platforms that looks for dark web activities, breaches,

Have a curated list of important threat intel fusion across various sources

Knowledge on dark web and accessing dark web forums, IRCs, chat groups etc.

Knowledge on APT groups and monitoring all activities through handlers

Curate newsletter and social media weekly posts based on weekly activities in the cyberspace.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience on extract and disseminate open source intelligence (OSINT)

Regional expertise as applied to threat actors

Familiarity with alternative analysis techniques and predictive analysis methodology

Experience with conducting intelligence investigations and familiarity with investigative tools, including Maltego, DomainTools, and VirusTotal

Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Ignite Service and Selection are currently looking for an experienced Security Analyst with experience in Cyber Security sector. Our client is a huge specialist within the digital security market and is looking to expand its Security Analyst team.

You must have experience working within the Cyber security industry, have a positive attitude, and work well within a team environment. The contract is for 6 months initially, with huge potential to be converted to an internal hire based on performance, passion & commitment. The contract is not tied to any specific project. If the candidate proves he/she is a right fit, then they will be provided with the opportunity to join as an internal hire by the end of the contract.

If you have strong knowledge and interest in Cyber security, this position might be the right one for you. The Level one (I) MSS Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring multiple security technologies and events using the Security Information Event Management (SIEM) tool in order to detect and identify IT security-related incidents.

This role requires:

• 3-5 years of experience in information security, in areas such as security operations, intrusion detection, incident analysis, incident handling, or firewall administration.

• 3-5 years of experience in one of the following: Network operations or engineering or system administration on Unix, Linux, Windows

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed operational process and procedures to appropriately analyze, escalate, and assist in the remediation of critical information security incidents

• Correlate and analyze events using the Splunk/Log Rhythm/Qradar SIEM tool to detect IT security incidents

• Review customer reports ensuring quality and accuracy

• Monitor multiple security technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Switches, VPNs, and other security threat data sources

• Resolve problems independently and understand escalation procedure

• Computer Science Degree, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering.

• Good knowledge of IT security best practices, common attack types, and detection/prevention methods

• Demonstrable experience in analyzing and interpreting system, security, and application logs

• Knowledge of the type of events that both Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security-related devices produce

• Experience in using SIEM tools such as Splunk, Log Rhythm, Qradar, Alien Vault, NitroSecurity, etc.

• TCP/IP knowledge, networking, and security product experience

• Knowledge of Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks

• Possible attack activities, such as scans, man in the middle, sniffing, DoS, DDoS, etc. and possible abnormal activities, such as worms, Trojans, viruses, etc.

• CCNA, CISSP, GCA, GCIA, GCIH, CEH certification would be preferable

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• A motivated, self-managed, individual who can demonstrate above average analytical skills and work professionally with peers and customers even under pressure

• Very good communication skills

• Strong written and verbal skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well with others

• The ability to speak and write in English is required; Arabic is preferred
