About the Role

Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Education, or related subjects

Minimum 2 years teaching experience  following the UK National Curriculum

With UK Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS)

Knowledge of Data Disaggregation, Analysis and Differentiation for Students

Preferably with IKTHAR/KHDA/ADEC approval for UAE based candidates

Main Responsibilities

To be the safeguarding lead across the campus 

To promote a caring and supportive environment where such concerns may be explored, thereby promoting the mental and emotional health at Repton School 

To provide high-quality counselling support to students and staff experiencing a range of emotional and/or social problems 

To promote student success by providing preventative care and advice 

To provide all necessary support, in consultation with the other school leaders, in order for the school to fulfil its aims 

To contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people

Successful candidates will have: 

Experience leading social skills groups, supporting emotional regulation and supporting children with anxiety 

Knowledge of how local mental health and CAMHS works in the UK, or equivalent experience and expertise overseas 

An awareness of the diversity of needs of people from a range of ethnic, cultural and social background 

Knowledge of the Children’s Act, Wadeema’s Law and other legislation pertaining to children 

A degree in Counselling, Psychology or similar
