Main Responsibilities

Responsible for the accounting of all daily income of the hotel and to ensure that the monthly revenue is completed and posted to accounting system on the first day of each month

Ensure that all rebates, allowances and discounts given to guests are properly authorized and approved in accordance with hotel policies and procedures. Any deviations from hotel policies and procedures have to be reported outright to the Director of Finance

Prepare and distribute the accurate Daily Revenue Report for management on a timely basis

Verify, monitor and review all hotel revenue reports and night audit reports

Ensuring that daily revenues and settlements are in balance both in PMS and POS

Summarizing revenue and settlement information in a Journal Entry format associated with the proper back office chart of account numbers and descriptions

Verify the balance of all interface postings to ensure all revenues have been posted

Verify and reconcile all revenue centers as reported in the income journal daily

Ensure that banquet department’s revenue postings are correct by reconciling the banquet daily event list report which is provided by the Banquets manager on a daily basis. Account all daily Banquet Events Order (BEO) and check the completeness of charges made to the guest as agreed in the BEO. Follow-up on errors and discrepancies

Review housekeeping discrepancy reports and file in the daily audit package


Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management and/or Accounting or equivalent

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as Income Auditor in a similar capacity in a hotel

Excellent knowledge of various PMS, POS and Accounting system (preferably Infor HMS, InfoGenesis and SUN system)

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office mainly excel

High managerial/supervisory skills to meet and focus on deadlines, planning ahead, result driven and also flexible

SECTION I: JOB PURPOSE:

This role is responsible for the executing the processes of liquidity monitoring and management; Managing the assets and liabilities of ITFC through analysing, monitoring and reporting on ITFC’s Structural Balance Sheet Risks covering short-, medium- and long-term liquidity and funding risks as well as interest rate and foreign exchange risks; and Implementing the Funds Transfer Pricing to better manage the profitability of ITFC from its various business lines and activities.

SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organizational Unit Responsibilities

Introducing improvement initiatives in order to contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of Liquidity & ALM function.

Preparing the standing and ad-hoc reports of the Liquidity & ALM function.

Maximize the value of each counterparty’s relationship by understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for cross selling from Treasury Department’s offering.

 

Technical Responsibilities

Liquidity & Cash Flow Projections Management

Reviewing the short-term liquidity and cash management activities

Reviewing the maturity profiles, bank account positions/statements on a regular basis and oversee the funds movements

Review all the liquidity deals are processed daily to ensure compliance with all liquidity requirements.

Assisting in developing ITFC’s future cash movement plans and ensure availability of necessary liquidity

Coordination with other department and other entities to manage disbursements & replenishments needs.

Assisting Senior Manager in providing instructions to Treasury dealing for Investments and Borrowings

Assist in the system development & enhancements for Treasury ALM activities.

 Asset-Liability Management

Contributing to Managing balance sheet, cash flow, and ensuring provision of funds for the company.

Contribute to implementing an assets and liabilities strategy (gapping) that optimizes the company’s return, in accordance with the ALCO’s guidelines/ recommendations.

Contributing to developing and recommending financial policies, capital structure, hedging policies, as well as maintenance of bank relationships.

Reviewing ongoing assessment of asset & liability mismatches and managing the implementation of required short- and medium-term financing structures.

Contributing to formulation, periodic review and dissemination of financial and the Asset and Liability Management policies and guidelines for ITFC

Funding & Leveraging Planning

Contributing to planning and execution of debt issuance to meet the long-term need.

Contributing to the development of Fund transfer pricing model framework and implementation

Assisting in making decisions on funding company operations and other financing requirement.

Contributing to management of debt capital raising strategy, origination and execution of structured finance and hedging strategies, cash management strategies.

 Funds Management

Clear investments of the funds entrusted by other entities, and coordinate with the Dealing and Capital Markets to invest such funds in available instruments.

Prepare reports on fund management activities addressed to internal and external parties, including principals, profits, costs and fees entitled to ITFC. 

Networking & Partnership

Participating in roadshows, conferences, workshops, seminars and market positioning activities of ITFC to promote ITFC and expand network of partnership.

Keep abreast with the latest changes, developments and opportunities in the local, regional and international banking and financial industry and markets with potential positive or negative impact on ITFC.

SECTION IV: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Bachelors Degree

Treasury-related Professional Certification is preferable (CTP, ACT, CFA, CMA, ACI Dealing/Operations)

Language Skills:

English is compulsory

Arabic or French is preferable

Years of Experience:

Minimum 4 years of experience

* Role Purpose:

To serve SNAS/DHL customers at the Front Counter, ensuring that all customer needs  are met, questions and queries handled, all shipments are correctly and accurately processed and company standards are met or exceeded at all times.


* Accountabilities:

1) Skills/

Qualifications: Maintain cleanliness and excellent appearance within the Front  Counter. Project a professional image in greeting and serving customers.

2) Impact: Ensure all sales targets are met/exceeded.  Ensure all cash and the cash float are handled correctly.  Use SPS system to complete AWBs in line with company standards.

3) Problem Complexity / Process: 

Ensure that perfect shipment criteria is met at all times.  Maintain suitable levels of brochures and tariffs on display. Ability to choose between different alternatives with care. Use sound judgement in conditions of uncertainty.

4) Customer / Stakeholder: Ensure the delivery of precise and correct information to customers and provide advice on shipment acceptance and carriage. Security screen all shipments prior to acceptance. And take necessary action against DGA shipments.  Hold consignee collect shipments as appropriate.

5) Autonomy: 

Ensure all machinery is in working order (Card, Weighing, Computer) Up loading of Disk information from the SPS accurately at the end of each day.

6) People Management: Ability to understand the perceptions and needs of others, as well as to pick up clues to others’ current unspoken thoughts.


OUR PROFILE:

 * Education: Diploma or university degree.

* Experience: At least 2 years in HR administration or similar experience. 

*Knowledge of the Saudi Arabian Labour Law an advantage

*Database management.

* Technical Knowledge/Skills: Very good computer skills, particularly in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
