A multinational manufacturing company requires a Warehouse Supervisor with minimum 5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
Job Description Summary: To supervise the overall activities being carried out in Warehouse and to ensure a smooth, cost effective and efficient flow of raw materials, resources and finished goods through the internal supply chain.
Job Responsibilities:
Administer the daily activities of the warehouse (maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items).
Confer and coordinate activities with other departments to ensure timely availability of general consumables.
Organize and maintain inventory.
Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy.
Ensure accurate and complete data is entered in the ERP system.
Implement and ensure proper procedures for efficient flow of Raw Material through internal supply chain.
Investigate & interpret any unusual fluctuation in raw material usage in production.
Propose disposal plans for scrap materials; assure timely delivery by suppliers, stacking and utilization of storage space, FIFO, perishable materials tracking.
Delegate internal works to the team and train them to develop their interpersonal and professional knowledge.
Practice and update existing methodologies to improve personal as well as team efficiency - Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
Determine staffing levels and assign workload.
In charge of inventory management. Ensure timely and accurate cycle count for the entire inventory.
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices. To implement best practices for Inventory Management.
Should have basic understanding of INCO terms, material grades & specifications.
To maintain 3PL Service/ Inventory stored in External Warehouse.

Requirements :
Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor.
Bachelors Degree preferably in Supply chain or Warehouse Management is preferred.
Leadership Quality.
Knowledge of Oracle ERP system and MS Office proficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Should be familiar in ISO procedures, 6S, Lean management, Basic Safety, Quality Management.
Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Sr. Logistics Specialist will be responsible for the operational field support areas of store operations, Automated Logistics and Information processing, FMS Case Managements & FMS Processes. Interface between HAWK Central Maintenance Facility (CMF), HAWK main supply warehouse and firing unit sub stores. This role requires minimal supervision and is an individual that will oversee the processing of maintenance and supply data. Provide advice and guidance in the operations of international overseas Repair and Return (R&R) program. Provide advice and guidance to the Asset Management section for Master Identification (MIF) file development for new or unknown items into the UAE’s Air Force, Air Defense Management Information System (AADMIS). Provide advice and guidance in all areas of HAWK main supply warehouse operations. Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock and or adjust authorized material stock levels based on material usage and consumption reports. Be familiar with and able to analyze U.S. Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) data between the UAE and U.S. Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) for the UAE Air Force & Air Defense. Track shipments and address any delays and be able to coordinate with UAE’s designated international freight forwarder on an as required basis to expedite high priority material. The role includes insuring compliance with standard operating procedures, gathering user and business requirements, for updates to applications and processes. The role will require maintaining accurate data related to maintenance events, equipment configuration, and supply. Provide assistance in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support. Provide analysis of technical data and reports to determine spares and support equipment provisioning requirements. This position is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Required Experience, Knowledge, and/or Skills:

At least 4 years of related experience.
Working knowledge with an Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) or like application for supply and maintenance tracking.
Understanding of the logistics process in providing field support.
Energetic professional, who can coordinate and interface effectively at all, levels of the organization, across a multi-contractor and government workforce.
Ability to research complex customer problems and provide technical, process and/or training solutions, including networking, database management and software requirements.
Ability to isolate problems and initiate solutions in a timely manner is expected.
Generating deliverable documents, planning activities including developing and performing presentations to the customer is also required.
Be able to work after normal work hours.
Be familiar with commercial and military supply chain procedures.
Mid-level training in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint.
Candidate must possess sufficient professional competence to operate independently within a broad scope of authority and with minimal supervision.
International on-site support.
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Desired Skills:

Experience working within company and/or government owned contractor operated logistics facilities a plus.
Should have some background in Air Defense Systems preferably HAWK or similar military weapons system.
Have great communication skills to effectively interact with UAE Nationals (military and civilian), U.S. Government (military and civilian) and International personnel at all levels.
Have a general working knowledge of U.S. military Depot, General Support (GS) and Direct Support (DS) maintenance procedures.

Job Purpose:

Serve as a senior member of the Division of Administration team; incumbent is responsible for the all areas of Human Resources work including but not limited to: faculty/staff recruitment, orientation and retention; employee records and information systems; employee relations, compensation and benefits administration; performance management; benefits administration; immigration services; international staff housing; policy development, organizational development and training; employee related documentation, compliance and reporting; overseeing vehicle fleet use, drivers, mandoobs and college receptionists.

Duties:

    Serve as a member of the Vice President for Administration senior staff, participating in discussions, decision-making and policy making
    Provide leadership and administrative support for human resources functions by coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the following programs: employee recruitment including records maintenance and retention, compensation, benefits administration, international employee services, human resources policy development, and organization development
    Provide employee relations counseling, mediation and coaching for employees and managers
    Direct work load and task assignments of all office staff to ensure successful and timely completion of all work
    Oversee the functioning of the vehicle fleet and drivers; organize fleet usage; maintain all needed records and provide usage data as requested
    Develop appropriate policies and procedures for effective management and utilization of the human resource information systems database, streamlining processes and identifying best practices as well as ensuring institutional compliance with labor laws and HR requirements

    Work closely with the Director of Finance on the administration of all College compensation programs

    Supervise employment and benefit functions and ensure accurate and timely processing; ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
    Plan, develop, and implement timelines and procedures for job evaluations, performance evaluations and special employment agreements
    In collaboration with the Director of Facilities and Maintenance, research, identify, recommend and manage appropriate housing for qualified staff
    In collaboration with the Vice President for Enrollment & Student Life, oversee the integrity of the student employment program
    Work collaboratively with the Director for Marketing & Communications on the creation and delivery of messages related to outreach and recruitment of prospective employees and internal information to employees

    Oversee the development and updating of the college employee handbooks; maintain all job descriptions, reviewing and updating regularly

    In-depth knowledge of Kuwait Labor Law regulations related to human resources; comparable knowledge of higher education a plus
    Ability to read, write and speak English required; additional Arabic language skills strongly preferred
    Demonstrated skills in organizational development, recruitment (both direct and program management), management, coaching, policy development, contract negotiation, and legal research and compliance, with benefit design and negotiation and payroll expertise
    Demonstrated expertise in advising and consulting with every employee level including senior administration, with appropriate balance between employee and management perspective
    Demonstrated ability to improve processes through enhanced use of technology
    Experience in the management, and oversight of departmental budget
    Experience with research, analysis, and use of data in higher education and/or human resources
