About The Role:

Under the general guide and supervision of Chief Technician and within assignments allocated on daily by Area Superintendent, the candidate performs a range of predominantly mechanical repair and preventive maintenance tasks on site and in the Ghusais workshop.

NOTE: Where possible on site visits, mechanical fitters will also be assigned electrical tasks. In the workshop, there is greater specialisation, especially on more complex jobs.

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma in electrical /electronics /mechanical engineering or certificate course (ITI) with at least three years experience.

• Should have at least completed schooling up to secondary level (in technical stream) if no other technical qualification is acquired.

Technical skills:

• Should be conversant with use of various tools like multimeter, mugger, earth tester, ratchet spanners, etc.

• Experience in repairing of rotary equipment like pumps, repair of electronic circuit boards will be preferred.


Specialized Skills:

• Should be conversant with maintenance of various types of air conditioners.

• Should be able to carry out complete maintenance independently with the help of supporting staff.

Language skills.
• Should be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
