Lead Recruiter, McKinsey & Company, Dubai/Riyadh, UAE/KSA

Your Impact
You will lead the recruitment delivery for McKinsey Digital practice and/or Client Capabilities Network (CCN) roles across the EEMA region and creating and implementing strategies to achieve hiring needs, including the oversight of awareness building and attraction activities including interaction with candidates, consulting with team on an exciting and rewarding careers in the firm.  
In this role, you will lead and coordinate regional processes end-to-end including application analysis, assessment and cultivation. You will drive improvement initiatives for relevant recruiting efforts, with a keen focus on diversity and bringing exceptional talent to the community.
You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across the region to scope out hiring requirements and advise and align on best fit recruiting strategy, using your industry experience and market knowledge to define approach. You'll use your keen eye for data management, navigating our systems, and ensuring regular and reliable reporting to leadership and recruiters within your team.
You'll build networks with recruiting peers across the Middle East, and beyond. You will connect for knowledge building and best practice sharing, strengthening your global network and contributing to cross-team projects. You’ll partner effectively with our recruiting support teams to ensure a streamlined interview experience.

Your qualifications and skills

    5+ years of recruiting experience in executive search, start-up, corporate recruiting, or professional services firm, ideally within a high-paced environment.
    Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with demonstrated experience in collaborating with large cross-functional teams and key stakeholders across diverse locations.
    Proven initiative and judgement, with a track record as a self-starter capable of working effectively under pressure and navigating ambiguity.
    Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaborative team-building skills; adept at fostering strong relationships with candidates, consultants at all levels, and recruiting colleagues. Exhibits a positive attitude and openness to feedback.
    Proactive problem-solving capabilities, with a talent for identifying issues and generating solutions; a drive and enthusiasm for continuously improving recruiting processes.
    Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage and balance multiple projects and work streams independently, while maintaining close attention to detail.
    Highly mindful of external reputation; handles confidential information with the utmost discretion, respect, and care.
    Adaptable to last-minute changes; able to remain composed under pressure; comfortable working with minimal direction. Willingness to travel, work outside standard office hours, including occasional weekends and evenings.
    Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.

HR Operations Coordinator (6 months Maternity Cover), Oliver Wyman, Dubai, UAE

We are looking to bring onboard a Human Capital Operations Coordinator to join our Dubai office! This is a 6 months maternity cover contract.

Job Overview

The HC Assistant will play a vital role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the IMEA Human Capital Operations team. The incumbent will be responsible for various administrative tasks, ensuring confidentiality, and contributing to the overall efficiency of HC operations.

Key Responsibilities

    Administrative Support: Provide extensive administrative support to the HC division, including record-keeping, hiring approval processes, and maintaining organized filing systems. Ensure that all relevant administrative work is dealt with appropriately and in a confidential manner.

    Benefits Processing: Assist in processing insurance and other employee benefits, including the addition and deletion of employees. Review benefit records at year-end reconciliation to ensure accuracy.

    Internal Tracking: Maintain and update internal time off trackers for vacation, sick leaves, and employee exits. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

    Document Issuance: Prepare and issue employee-related documents, such as but not limited to Salary Certificates, Employment Certificates, pay slips, Employment Contracts, and Income Statements.

    Audit Assistance: Provide assistance during internal and external audits, ensuring that all required HC records and documents are readily available and compliant with regulations.

    Vendor Liaison: Collaborate with benefit vendors and external partners, ensuring smooth communication and support for employees in accessing their benefits.

    Onboarding and Offboarding: Assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing and connecting with new hires, and scheduling inductions. When it comes to Offboarding; scheduling exit interviews and assisting with issuing relevant paperwork.

    Data Maintenance: Maintain and update employee records and databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

    Compliance: Stay updated on HC regulations and compliance requirements, assisting in ensuring the organization's adherence to all relevant laws and policies.

    Ad Hoc Tasks: Support the HC team with various ad hoc tasks as needed, contributing to the evolving needs of the department

Experience Required

    Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    3+ years of experience working in a similar role.

    Experience in financial services, management consultancy and/or a professional services environment is a plus.

Skills and Attributes

    Professional, proactive, and collaborative

    Positive attitude, sense of fun is collegial and friendly

    Highly organized and detail-oriented yet operates well within a team.

    Excellent communicator – able to deal effectively with people at all levels across a multicultural environment.

    Ability to manage a heavy work volume and meet deadlines in an extremely fast paced environment.

    Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

    Knowledge of HR practices and benefits administration is a plus.

    Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.

    Strong problem-solving and time management skills

Technical Skills

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.

    Strong command of English (written and verbal)
