With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for as a Connectivity Centre Manager to join our Rooms team at One&Only Royal Mirage Resort in Dubai.

 

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort’s success, and your role goes beyond developing potential relationships where you will be responsible for providing leadership and development to connectivity centre agents by providing motivation, coaching, mentoring, and support complemented by following Performance Management and Quality Control Processes and Procedures, with the overall aim of achieving key centre targets.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities     

 

    Ensure accountability for driving work behaviors and results of every connectivity centre agent which aid in the overall development and success of the Connectivity Centre through co-ordination and control of all aspects of day-to-day activities.
    Contributes to the setting of budgets and / or manages budgets and allocates resources within the team.
    Drive and support revenue generation and cost saving processes.
    Monitor different type of agent’s communication and provide structured, consistent, support and advice.
    Allocates and direct agents in their daily activities and redeploy agents to meet the requirements of customer operational needs.
    Apply quality control processes in accordance with set guidelines and provide feedback to each agent to ensure adherence to quality absolutes.
    Identify and support all learning/training requirements of each agent to address individual development needs to support business goals and minimize staff attrition.
    Actively manage record and administer employee relation issues, including absenteeism, timekeeping, and schedule adherence following HR policies and procedures to provide fair working environment.
    Conduct and participate in the team meetings and induction of new employees.
    Always maintain workplace discipline.
    Participate in the selection of and approve agent hiring in conjunction with HR department.
    Directly involved in any projects assigned by the management ensuring completion in a timely manner within the assigned budget.

    Financial understanding
    Coaching and training skills
    Multi-Tasking ability
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in Call Center and a supervisory or managerial level in a 5-star hotel
    Should have a bachelor’s degree or any 4 years course

The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

The Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs for all hotel staff. The goal is to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance to ensure exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

• Develop, implement, and oversee training programs for all hotel staff to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.
• Identify department and individual training requirements through comprehensive Training Needs Analysis.
• Set up departmental training by training representatives from other departments to conduct on-the-job training regularly, ensuring close supervision and coordination.
• Monitor post-training performance and attitudes of participants in collaboration with department heads or supervisors.
• Design and implement the hotel's Annual Training Program, including course outlines, instructional materials, and evaluation tools.
• Facilitate engaging training workshops and sessions, utilizing external trainers when necessary.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Leading the way – managing guest experiences, team performance and hotel operations
• Prioritising workload and ensuring your team deliver authentic, memorable experiences
• Developing your team’s skills to drive results that positively impact on hotel performance
• Having authentic conversations with guests to resolve issues, queries or concerns
• Being first point of contact for any critical emergency situations

What we need from you

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
• 2 years’ front desk/guest service leader experience
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English
• Other languages may be preferred
• Basic mathematics skills
• Excellent communication, problem solving, reasoning and motivational skills
• Long periods of standing in the front desk areas and occasional lifting of heavy items
• Working knowledge of hotel property management systems like Opera beneficial
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
